Excellent location and incredible amenities to enjoy this beautiful part of the country. The hosts were very helpful and responsive and did some personal touches to the property to make our group feel extra welcome. Cannot recommend this location enough for large group get together!

Multifamily Getaway

This property was perfect for several families. We did have to share some bathrooms which was okay with us. We were close to downtown French Lick as well as Paoli. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Raving about Lost River Ranch!

This is a large and lovely home - comfortably appointed. They have not missed a thing! Well stocked kitchen, fun game room for all ages, cozy gathering spaces and great sleeping options for extended families. Breathtaking views out of every window! Our host, Stacy, was very responsive and welcoming. We will be back!!

Guys Golf Trip

Great location for our 20th annual golf trip. The number of beds at the cabin were perfect, and the back deck was perfect to watch the sunrise over the misty hills of Southern Indiana. The French Lick golf course were just a short drive away, which made for a very convenient commute for early tee times.

Great space to be alone

20 of us stayed 4 nights and had a great getaway. This wasn't much to do on site, which was perfect because we brought the activities with us. Most of our group used the hot tub despite the 90 degree and 90% humidity weather. I didn't understand - but they loved it. The kitchen is well-stocked with very usable bowls, measuring cups, cupcake pans, crock-pot, instant pot, cake stand, cookie sheets, kitchen knives, and many more utensils and cookware.

Girl’s trip 2024

Wow! What an amazing house. There was so much space for our group. We loved all the areas to sit and relax. We spent a lot of time playing games around the big dining table. The ping pong table and hot tub was also a big hit. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice the bathrooms had body soap, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap provided. The area was fun to explore. We liked the French Lick Scenic railway. We also explored the West Baden and French Lick hotels. Definitely a fun spot to relax and see different things.

Amazing weekend!

I had two of my best friends and their families come join us at the Lost River Lodge. We had planned the trip a couple months prior. My two friends and I had learned to ski at Paoli Peaks on overnight church trips in the early 90s. There were a lot of special memories and we wanted to show our kids how we learned to ski. As the trip approached it didn't look like snow was a possibility and the slopes at Paoli were closed. However, Lost River Lodge was such an interesting and welcoming lodge that we were happy just staying in for the weekend for lots of fun and games. As we crossed into French Lick the weather changed dramatically and snow flakes began to fall - almost immediately covering the roads. It was a miracle! We made it into the Lodge and unpacked our belongings and began trying to choose rooms. The kids were the first to find the hidden passage! We were all in heaven. After dinner we played an epic game of sardines. I can't imagine ever having a place hear so much joy and laughter. By the end of our wonderful trip, the snow and skiing was merely a bonus to the wonderful memories we all made at Lost River Lodge.

My brother, 3 sisters, and all of our children and grandchildren stayed at the cabin. It was very comfortable, spacious, clean, and laid out well. We enjoyed it very much.

Can't Wait to Go Back

We had our parent's 50th Anniversary celebration at Lost River Lodge. Our family gathering from 9 months old to almost 70 and it was a perfect location for everyone. The Lodge is large enough so never never felt on top of each other with 10 of us together. The sleeping arrangement are quiet. It has the Mother-of-All wrap around porches!

Friends + Cousins = Fruzzins!

The Lost River Ranch is wonderful place for a large group of people to get together. You can easily gather together in the large dining room or in the living room and decks. But you can also find places to be when you want to be alone. Everything you need is provided by the host. It is so nice to have coffee, creamer & sweetener available on that first morning. Not to mention the beer & wine! It is not easy to get 11 women to agree on much but we all agreed that The Lost River Ranch is a perfect place to stay.

Beautiful Lodge in French Lick/West Baden area for large groups

We loved everything about our stay at the Lost River Lodge. The property was well equipped with everything we needed for a fantastic getaway. Stacy was an excellent host and responded to all of our questions and even proactively provided a few tips along the way. Our only disappointment was not having access to one of the rooms, which as I understand was being renovated and/or used for storage. While totally understandable, we really would have loved to have that screened in room. The accommodations overall were comfortable and sufficient for everything we needed. And the views from the porch were unbeatable. Thank you Stacy for a memorable experience!

Amazing large group golf trip

The house was amazing. The view and the property was spectacular. We had a large group of adults and everyone slept comfortably and we loved the giant table where we could all sit together. Communication with the host was very helpful, and she even found some items we left there and sent them to us after. Couldn't recommend this house enough!

The perfect family retreat!

Lost River Ranch is the epitome of relaxation and privacy. It is a fantastic property nestled in its own natural heaven. Stacy does a wonderful job of making sure all needs are met, and was accommodating when it came to special requests. It is recommended to have Elle come out and cook a dinner for your smaller group (we had 11). Her catering service, Elle’s on Elm, was consulted for a private dinner. The combination of the huge dining room of the house, the view, and Elle’s delicious meal gave our family a memory we will remember for years to come! Should our adventures bring us back to French Lick, we would book again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for all!

Wonderful family reunion!

We had 23 family members stay here for our annual reunion. It never felt crowded, so many spaces inside and out. Only 35 minutes to Patoka Lake. Had a great time!

Great time to celebrate family!

My family spent a long weekend at this home to celebrate my parent's 60th wedding anniversary and my mom's 80th birthday. The home was gorgeous, and Stacy was a very gracious host. The home is in a very remote area, yet only about a 15-minute drive from French Lick - a small resort town with a casino and several touristy type attractions. I'd recommend this home highly - but note that there are a lot of bugs (Stacy doesn't hide this fact), so while the outdoor deck is a wonderful place to hang out, doing so after sundown, is near impossible.

Memorial Day Weekend!

This property is lovely and just as described. Plenty of room for a family of 15! Stacy was hospitable and responded immediately to any concerns or questions. The location is great for both West Baden Springs and French Lick. We all highly recommend!

Perfect for Girls Weekend!

Stacy was beyond helpful with our stay, and with her communication. The home is perfectly situated, yet conveniently located. The drive was beautiful to get there - and less than a three hour drive from Cincinnati!
