Snowater Respite is a ground floor level unit that is 1 bed 1 bath with all new appliances, furnishings and flooring.

With a bank of windows in the living room, the space is well lit by the natural light that floods in making the transition from the outdoors almost seamless. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed and gives a cozy yet modern atmosphere for a good night's rest. This unit also features a full bathroom with towel warmer, washer and dryer, galley kitchen and living room. The newly remodeled kitchen has a two-burner electric glass cooktop, microwave/oven combo, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator.  The living room includes a wood burning fireplace, great for cozying up in the winter or just everyday ambiance. Just off of the living room, is a small deck that looks towards the forest, presenting itself as the perfect place to enjoy all the aspects of nature and enjoy that cup of morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The living room also has a 60" Wi-Fi connected smart TV, a chaise lounge for two and a dining room table in the window alcove.

Located on 35 riverfront acres, Snowater Community Club has many outdoor amenities to offer both owners and guests.

With two clubhouses, each with their own heated pools and hot tubs, families can enjoy indoor activities in addition to outdoor. The clubhouses also have a children's playroom with toys, a game room with billiards & ping pong, a workout room with exercise machines, indoor Basketball, Squash and Racquetball courts and more.  The outdoors has multiple playgrounds, tennis & basketball courts, trails along the river, Gas fire pit, BBQ's for grilling your favorite food and a covered gazebo for outdoor social time and meals.

NOTE:
The home has DSL internet with WIFI speeds for basic internet work and streaming movies.  With multiple people online, the speeds slow down movies may be interrupted.  All the common buildings have Wi-Fi, no password needed.

*Snowater Resort has four EV chargers available for owners and guests. This is offered for a $10/per charge fee. Please arrange use of the charger with the Snowater Resort office.

Important Notes:

Nature:This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife.

Technology:WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV, cellular service, and high-speed internet are not available. The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There's also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. Wi-Fi is DSL and ranges between 4-9 mbps depending on the time of day and how many people are online.  **Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control. Our area is limited to one service provider and we appreciate your understanding with the following policy: We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions.

Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains.

Groceries: Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away).  There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations.  Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons.  Please come prepared with provisions.

Parking:
Luxury Getaways is required to register ALL vehicles that will be staying on the Snowater property. You will be given a parking permit for each registered vehicle. You will need to provide your vehicle(s) Color, Make, Model and license plate # for registration.

Pet Policy: DOGS only  permitted (no cats or other pets) maximum 1 dog allowed @ $35/per night

Pet Rules:

We love pets and are glad that you're bringing your furry companion. We just ask that you please follow all of our guidelines, since this is another person's home.
1. Pet fees must be paid in advance of Check in.
2. Maximum 1 Dog allowed (no cats)
3. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds (no exceptions)
4. Pets must be over the age of 1 year old.
5. Pets shall NOT be left unattended at any time for any purpose whatsoever or while you are at the ski area.
7. Any damage caused by pets will incur charges for repair or replacement of structures or furnishings and must be paid immediately.
8. Guests should prevent pets from producing excessive noise or continuous barking at a level that disturbs neighbors.
9. All guests agree to adhere to rules and regulations and county ordinances regarding leash laws, sanitation, and noise disturbances.
10. Any fines or violations will be charged to the guest.
