Welcome to "The Flag House", your perfect vacation getaway!

This custom-built, modern home sits on a quarter of an acre of breathtaking forest and mountain views, offering the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Situated in a clean & quiet neighborhood next to national forest land.

This is our personal vacation home that we keep meticulously updated and we manage ourselves to make sure you have the best stay.

Designed with families and couples in mind, the bedrooms are situated for maximum privacy, while the kitchen and entertainment areas are perfect for casual gatherings or quality time with your loved ones.

If you're looking for adventure, you can easily walk to nearby trails or take a short drive to some of the top attractions in the area:

Downtown Flagstaff: 10 minutes
Snowbowl: 33 minutes
Sedona: 40 minutes
Grand Canyon: 1 hour and 15 minutes

We stock you with what should be enough for your stay: keurig & Nespresso pods, paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher pods, a sponge, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. Oils and spices for cooking.

Flexible Check In- No fees, based on availability- please request about it so we can see what we can do.

Easy Checkout: Just set the dishwasher to run and head out!

Our property extends into open green space, but ends at a gravel line in our backyard, ensuring your privacy during your stay. We ask that you kindly respect the property line :)

WINTER: Even though there is a hill in the backyard, that is part of private property, so there is no sledding directly behind the house. The best public sledding is 1 mile from the house at Foxglen Park. We have sleds at the house you are welcome to use.

SUMMER NOTE: Please note that most homes in Flagstaff do not have central air conditioning, but we've equipped our home with an A/C unit in each room and living room (4 total) and plenty of fans to keep you cool on warmer days during the mild summer climate. The rooms can cool to 66-70 degrees if needed.

As of Feb 2025 we have updated the units since the prior units seemed to be a little loud. The new units have a 46 decibels (dB) rating. (The sound of a quiet library).

Such a warm, cozy home with everything we would need and more. The provided toys, books and games for the whole family added to the fun. The holiday decor around the house was also a very nice touch. Felt like we were right at home.

Very nice house. Well equipped kitchen. Rooms are spacious and have nice touches like night lights and desk. Beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the large couch in the living room. We stayed with a group of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids). We had all we need including entertainment like outdoor activities ideas and games at the house. We would stay again!

This was by far the best experience of any vacation spot I have stayed at hands down. Communication was amazing, the house was spotless and beautiful. Me and my family had a fantastic time. The house is fully stocked of items you would need to feel at home. Tremendously happy and will for sure be back no doubt.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful family mountain retreat. We enjoyed the morning and evening wildlife visits from deer, squirrels, chipmunks and birds. The kids had a great time visiting the fairy houses in the backyard. The fireplace, couch, entertainment and games all made for a memorable stay. It was fun to cook delicious meals in the chefs kitchen. We enjoyed the binder with all information easily accessible including area recommendations. Thank you to our amazing hosts!

Don't hesitate booking, do it!!

First off, the host was amazing! Communication was great, she was super friendly and accommodating. Check in was easy. We parked in the garage and it was big enough to house our Expedition Max easy. Beds were all super comfy! Kids loved the bunk beds too. The living room/dining area was great and spacious that we could all hang and socialize together while the bedrooms and sleeping quarters were private and quiet. The neighborhood was also quiet and safe. The backyard was perfect for grilling. Lots of seating and pretty private. We came for a baseball tournament and were definitely comfortable the entire stay. Absolutely recommend this property, everything was perfect!

Great Flagstaff Retreat

Had a great stay for a short vacation in Flagstaff with adults and kids of various ages. Short drive into town. House was beautiful and had all expected amenities. Host was extremely gracious, responsive, and helpful.

Lovely place to stay

This was our second stay at the flag house. It’s a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Very relaxing, clean, and welcoming. We love coming here and plan to return in the future.

Great stay in nice neighborhood

Lovely rental property. House was fully stocked with everything you need to stay in and cook or was conveniently located to get food from local restaurants. It was in a beautiful neighborhood and had a wonderful view in the backyard. We had a herd of deer visit the yard each day. Quick walk to some hiking. Very clean and I would rent here again.

Great Location, Great Property!

The home was beautiful, but what stood out was Gisele’s attention to detail. There were toys for our kids, a stocked spice cabinet, Netflix logged in for guests, and a perfect coffee set up with pods of various flavors. It’s also 15 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes to shopping, a perfect location! Highly recommend this property!

Absolutely perfect!

We stayed at this Flagstaff property 4 days and these are the highlights: high end property (with no exaggeration) convenient to Grand Canyon, Sedona, I-40 located in an exclusive, quiet, wooded neighborhood access to and use of a spacious 2 car garage: unload and load under cover and in privacy along with off street parking lg washer & dryer push button on/off gas fireplace w/timer lg rooms children friendly: bunk bed, cubbies, child areas excellent & prompt communication w/owner property was spacious, extremely clean & up to date, e.g., appliances, TV, numerous outlets and charging stations, outdoor amenities, every light switch labeled- great attention to detail. EV owners- in garage charging station. A great place to stay.

We had a lovely long weekend at the Flag House, enjoying the home's beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces! Gisele was fantastic, the beds were so comfortable, and the setup was perfect for family hangouts and meals. I highly recommend it and hope to be back!

Lovely wooded views in a beautiful modern home

The house backs up to a pine tree-studded vista and is in a pretty and quiet residential neighborhood a little bit away from the downtown area but within easy driving distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and attractions. There are generous closets and two very nice bathrooms with showers (no tub). The patio and back yard have plenty of seating areas from which to enjoy beautiful sunsets.This is a very very nice home.

Lovely house in the forest

This is a lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood. The furniture is good quality. The kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry are well equipped. The great/living room has a very high ceiling with correspondingly high windows and a wonderful view to the backyard. Our favorite spot was the patio, where we did a lot of reading after hiking. Only one house is visible from that vantage point, barely, so it feels like you are in the forest. One minor negative was the room (not central) air conditioners- one in the living room and one in each of two bedrooms. They were effective, but noisy, so that we were occasionally awakened on hot nights by their cycling on and off. Finally, I will say that owner Giselle is a delight to work with, going out of her way to assist us on several occasions

So beautiful

Our experience was excellent. From the cleanliness of the home, to the beautiful location, accommodation, and responsiveness of the host, our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. The home overlooks a wooded area where you can sit outside and enjoy the view and sunset. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

LOVE this house!

I cannot say enough great things about this property and host! The home is in a great neighborhood, incredibly clean, and had everything you need to enjoy your stay! I wish we could’ve stayed longer , and we hope to get back to Flagstaff to stay here again. Gisele was a wonderful host! Communication was great and the checkout process was the easiest I have ever come across. I also loved how they included the home layout to the listing. Our daughter has some mobility issues and this helped us make sure this was the house for us and that we could navigate it. If I could give a higher rating than 5, I would!

Perfect for a quick trip with family

We reserved this place for a quick ski trip to Snowbowl. This place was great. There are only four of us, but the home can accommodate 10. The kitchen nook was perfect for the kids to have breakfast or for me to work. The beds were comfortable, the finishes were modern, the neighborhood was quiet and a 10 minute drive to downtown Flag. The communication from the owner was fantastic. while we didn't have much time to lounge around, this place would have been perfect for it. There are multiple sliding glass doors to the back patio, which runs the length of the house. The kids ran around in the back a bit, and we visited the hiking trail, which is walking distance, and the park which is a very short drive. As the listing indicated, there is everything you need in the kitchen if you're planning to cook at home. We liked this place so much we're thinking about an extended stay over the Summer.

Amazing & Cozy house. Can’t wait to stay again!

This house is perfect… the pictures don’t do it justice! We loved the layout of the house, the beds were comfortable, great views from backyard, and the house was stocked with everything you could need! It was even decorated for Christmas which made it so cozy! We were so excited to see the Christmas tree when we walked in since we were visiting to go to the North Pole experience that weekend. The hosts are quick to respond and do everything the can to make you will have an exceptional stay. We can’t wait to stay again!
