The Pinyon House is your home base while you explore the expansive red rocks and exhilarating surroundings of Capitol Reef country. The home is conveniently located in between Torrey Town and Capitol Reef National Park along the historic Highway 12, situated atop a desert bluff with stunning, 360-degree views out of every window.The property is full of natural vegetation including pinyon pine trees, juniper trees, yucca, and a variety of cactus.
The cabin is perfect for the vacationing family, the creative artist, and the exploring adventurer. The home includes a full kitchen, 3 king-size beds, WiFi, a fireplace, 3 decks, washer/dryer, and fantastic views so you can take in all of the natural beauty while you unplug and recharge.

The Pinyon House was such a lovely place to stay. It was so great we had a hard time leaving to go to Capitol Reef because we just wanted to stay at the house!

AMAZING

We spent 2 nights here while exploring CRNP and it was fantastic for our group of 4 adults/4 kids. Amazing views, loved watching the stars, and the hosts were so great to work with. We will definitely return.

Perfect in every way. Peaceful and quiet with great views and quick and easy access to the highway. Well appointed and beautiful kitchen, great hot tub, bright and fresh bedrooms and baths. Would definitely stay there again!

Great proximity to Capitol Reef NP & Grand Staircase Escalante.

This house offered us a comfortable place to relax and sleep after days filled with hiking in Capitol Reef NP and Grand Staircase Escalante. The home was clean and cozy, perfect for what we needed.

Awesome house with hot tub!

Hosts were excellent. Property is fantastically clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. I would stay here again.

Perfect location

The cabin was ideal for us. It has a great kitchen, nice comfortable living area and ideal sleeping areas. The up stairs shower is to die for and the soaking tub in the downstairs bathroom is perfect after a long day of hiking.

Amazing home to stay, will book again!

Amazing house so many awesome things to make your stay comfortable. Full kitchen with accessories you need for cooking and grilling. The hot tub is amazing. The location is great easy to find. Great host and communication from them. Will definitely stay here again. The hot tub made it so worth it after a long day of hiking.

Views for miles

Pinyon House is lovely—clean, well equipped and very close to Capitol Reef for a great winter time stay. The views—both into the park and of the night sky—were fantastic. Would absolutely recommend a stay here or at the sister properties.

Beautiful A frame

We loved staying in this beautiful A-frame house in the heart of Torrey. There are endless places to explore in this area. The home was comfortable and had everything that we needed to relax, cook, and just hang out. Views were spectacular.

Heaven on Earth

Every detail of this location was considered. The bedding was comfortable, the decor was stunning, the flatware was weighty! I was also locked out of just room for a bit, and the owners responded immediately to help me get back in. And the location?!?! Divine. We hot-tubbed under meteor showers and rainbows. I will be coming back!

Sunrise, Sunset & Dark Sky Designation

We only had the opportunity to stay here 1 night while visiting Capital Reef NP. This home was by far our most favorite during our entire 2 week trip. The home is exactly as shown in the pictures, views are incredible, location is quiet yet close to Torrey. With the decks on the front and back of the home, you will enjoy sunrise and sunset with glorious views in the backdrop. Torrey earned Utah’s First International Dark Sky Community Designation. The evening sky was spectacular. It brought back memories of our childhood!
