Nestled in a former presbytery, independent, the cottage "A la Lampe Pigeon" is a refuge for lovers, hikers, the curious about the area, enthusiasts following in the footsteps of Hayden the painter and Beckett the writer, professionals looking for an alternative to a hotel.

A special décor, a small garden with chives and thyme for your cooking, calm and candles for your evenings, a patio to find the cool in the heat of summer, a pigeon lamp and a stove transformed to offer you soft lights when night falls, ...: this place is experienced as a nice interlude.
From the top-of-the-range Bultex bedding, to the refrigerator which is extremely quiet (34 decibels), through the provision of kimonos and bathrobes, ... great attention has been paid to details.

- Private garden of 20 m2, facing south, not overlooked.
- Small independent and private patio of 7 m2 (a cool space in summer!)
- Kitchen equipped with all the necessary equipment (corkscrew, cheese grater, cake pans, lemon press, frying pan, casserole, salad bowl, ...)
- 7 m2 bathroom with open shower.
- Toilet separate from the bathroom.
- Bed, bath and household linen provided.

Traveller access:
The gîte "A la Lampe Pigeon" is independent, with a private entrance, a small garden and no vis-à-vis.
Once I have given you the keys, you are autonomous in this home, for the duration of your stay.
Free parking spaces on the street, in front of the gîte, allow you easy access.

If you come by train from Paris Gare de l'Est: Transilien Line P, direction Château-Thierry, stop at La Ferté-sous-Jouarre. 42 minutes journey by TER.
Option 1: Contact me for the arrangements if you need me to pick you up at the station.
Option 2: Allow 32 minutes on foot (2.4 km) from Gare de la Ferté to reach the gîte along the banks of the Marne.
