We loved the place!! Between the scenery of the mountains from the deck to the great hot tub…all of it was great. Cabin was exactly as described, and it was perfect. The owner always responded very quickly and was professional in every way. Will definitely come back!!!!

Extremely hard to get to the property due to the narrow, steep roads. Couches are disgusting. Outside looks nothing like the photos on Vrbo.

Me and my brother stayed here while we visited gatlinburg for a fishing trip. The house was in a great location near the top of the mountain and was off of the main road, so there wasn't a lot of traffic. The house itself was in good condition and clean.

Loved Max Secluded Chalet!

Cabin was perfect for our family including my young grandsons! Just the right size and very comfortable! Loved relaxing in the hot tub after a beautiful day walking around Gatlinburg. Host was quick to communicate. We really enjoyed our stay!

This cabin is amazing there was an amazing view and my 3 children loved the game upstairs. We got to visit a lot of different parks and we went downtown it was amazing. I recommend this very well. Thank you for the amazing time for me and my family.

I would recommend staying here, want to be very honest.Pros: The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes. Full size shampoo, conditioner, & body wash are provided (not hotel size). The bathroom also includes extra items like travel toothbrushes, toothpaste, & feminine products. The owner allowed us to check in a few hours early at no extra charge, which we truly appreciated. The cabin is close to everything, & DoorDash delivery is available.Cons: The listing advertises a mountain view. While technically true, the view is obstructed by trees. We stayed in February with no leaves & could only see the mountains through the trees. During months when trees are full, there would be little to no visible view. The beds were very uncomfortable for us & we woke up stiff. Cleanliness is the main reason this was not a 5 star stay. Several dishes were dirty. The windows were dirty, which took away the beautiful view from the tub area & when we turned on the tub jets, debris came out. There was also noticeable dust buildup on decorative items. Firewood is not provided, even a small complimentary amount would have been a nice touch.I noticed in other reviews that the owner often mentions guests not reaching out. Since we were only here for 2 days, we chose not to address these issues during our stay. However, when asked directly for a 5 star review, I couldn’t honestly give one, as this did not feel like a 5 star stay. But I would still recommend & we would love to come back.

Peaceful and quite

This location lived up to the name Max Seclusion Cabin. Being located at the top of the mountain meant seclusion to the max. Loved being able to sit on the porch and hear the wind rustle through the leaves and the birds chirp while watching the chipmunks play in the leaves. Highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to get away from alll of the hustle

Smoky Mountain Trip

We had a great stay at this cabin. The owner was very attentive and communication couldn't have been better. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful, but may not be for everyone because of the steep inclines and tight turns. But that comes with the territory and we knew this when we booked.

A Lovely Secluded Getaway

The property was clean and decorated nicely, although it's clear not all renters have been respectful, as there are some scuff marks on the walls that are clearly no fault of the owners. The location is nice. Not a place for a view, but definitely private. We only encountered bears on the road at night. The hot tub was wonderful and relaxing. Hot tip: Uber is not really a thing up here. We got down the mountain, but could not get back up. Call a taxi service. We recommend Jody at Driverz Taxi Service.

Katherine, I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay. There are actually Mountain Views only seasonal when the leaves fall, a long with the view of the Ober Ski Resort. In regards to the scuff mark on the walls I will have my handyman look at it and fix when he is available.

Gatlinburg Getaway

I dont enjoy being asked in all CAPS to give specific ratings and reviews to maintain an owners rating. I find that to be incredibly unprofessional. Other places I have stayed have asked for honest reviews and ratings true to my impression and stay as the customer. Our family adventure was incredible during our first visit! The Max Secluded Chalet wasn't exactly seculded, and compared to the price point and accommodations I would have to say the cabin was mediocre at best. I wouldn't personally choose to stay at this location again, but cannot wait to be back in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area again soon!

I reached out to Shelby during her stay to check in how she was enjoying her stay and didn’t receive a response from her. Her lack of communication I assumed that everything was fine. If there was something wrong with my place she should have told me about it. In fact, she even wrote in my journal in my cabin of how much her and her family enjoyed my cabin!!!!!

Nice place.

The cabin is clean and warm. Very close to Gaterlinburg. It will be perfect if the bed spreading can be change to a cotton one.

My wife and I stayed at the cabin and it was a great trip. The cabin was nice amd great location, but whoever is used as a cleaning company should be fired. We noticed that there was dust and crumbs under the love seat, there were dead ants all over the bedroom some of them we had to kill ourselves because they were on the bedside table. You could tell nothing was ever dusted its like the just run in and clean really fast. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom luckily. The owner said they had pest control out the day before we came thus why the dead bugs around. I would have thought if that was the case why wouldn't someone come out and check cleanliness before guests come. Sorry for the negatives it's a nice place overall and plenty of amenities just can't get over the unclean aspect and that my wife and I had to clean ourselves while on a trip, and if it was me I would refund the cleaning fee as an inconvenience

David, I’m sorry again for the inconvenience. During your stay you did not mentioned anything to me about any inconvenience. I would have addressed it right away since I really care about my guests. My pest control company does a great job maintaining my place since it is currently on top of the mountains and In rare occasions since the weather is changing there can be dead bugs do to the pest control treatment.

Romantic Getaway

I purchased this property since it is located in Gatlinburg TN.
Gatlinburg is considered the prime location in the Smoky Mountains which had breaking record of 16 million visitors in 2021 and increasing every year. Downtown Gatlinburg has many great things to do such as the Gatlinburg SKYLIFT PARK, OBER GATLINBURG, DOWNTOWN GATLINBURG has many unique restaurants, with local food, ANAKEESTA theme park which is great for kids and adults, and many other great adventures.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I chose this property mainly because of its location but also its character. It is a Chalet/Cabin with very high ceilings, and open space from the living room to the kitchen. It has a very unique Jacuzzi Tub in the living room that many enjoy including kids. During SKI season you can actually see the SKI RESORT from the upstairs bathroom's window. My place also has a very nice bear room, as well as the moose room which is nicely decorated. The living room also has the bear theme. Most guests also enjoy the outdoor deck along with its cozy 6 person hot tub.
