Welcome to "Gettin' Freaky in the Tiki" at Paradise Lakes Clothing Optional Resort in Lutz, Florida. This condo is located in a NUDIST community. Enjoy your morning coffee in the buff from the screened lanai of this 2nd floor lake view condo. Relish in the retro feel of old Florida while experiencing classic comfort with a Tiki twist. It IS Paradise Lakes, after all! Enjoy a memory foam, King size bed, and kitchen featuring a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and range. Enjoy the Tiki night lighting and don't forget to take your picture by the "selfie wall."

Please note - entrance to Paradise Lakes Clothing Optional Resort is not included in your stay. There is an additional fee, paid at The Resort.

In case you missed it...OUR CONDO IS IN A NUDIST COMMUNITY. Due to our units' smaller size and the community's predominantly adult nature, we do not recommend this condo for families with children or those offended by nudity. If you're curious about nudism, Paradise Lakes is a great place to give it a try and you'll love our friendly community! We do not allow pets or parties. Each guest will be asked to complete an additional application per our condo association rules. For the safety of our nudist neighbors, our condo association reserves the right to background check all of our guests. This condo is on the second floor, and has a private, screened in patio.

While we don't allow smoking in our condos, we do have an elderly next-door neighbor who is a smoker. If you are sensitive to smoke, this condo may not be a great choice for you and we invite you to look at our other units.

Fun and convenient spot in Land o Lakes

The unit is comfortable, clean, and well provisioned - what more could you need? The bed had a high-quality, firm, but still very soft mattress and comfortable pillows. A/C unit worked well. Wifi was functional and the connection was fast.The tiki theme was in full effect and the whole place has a retro/island vibe that helps you remember that you're on vacation, or if you're travelling for work like me, helps you turn off your work brain and relax in this comfortable, 2nd floor, water-front condo. The community is limited access and requires an access card for entry. Parking is in a lot outside the unit, and I found that there was always a spot or two nearby at most times of the day. I usually do a 3 to 5 mile run two or three nights per week, and found the community to be a quiet, friendly place, with residents out strolling at most times of the day. Also worth noting, writing this review as a "business" traveler, not necessarily someone involved in the nudist community. Obviously, this is a "know yourself" kind of situation, but I felt comfortable at all times during my stay and can confirm that the "optional" part of "clothing optional" is fully observed. I'd say the clothed to unclothed ratio is maybe 70/30, depending on the day and the weather. I myself remained clothed during my recent stays, but we'll see how it goes when I need to do a run in 90 degree heat over the summer!Overall, great stay, and highly recommend this unit and the host's other properties.

Clean and well equipped

The condo is small but they made good use of the space. Very clean and hosts were easy to work with. Unfortunately the condo is on the 2nd floor and you have to walk through the next door neighbors outside space to get to the condo. He was very nice but chain smoked and his space was an eye sore. The smoke filtered over into the condo we were staying in. We would rent from these hosts again but not this condo.

Smoke free property? I think not

It was not a smoke-free property as described so I left within a few minutes yet they still decided to charge me for 2 nights And they probably think they're doing me a favor

Amazing in Paradise

I travel a lot and this was the best experience from the time I booked until the time we left. Doug and Traci are amazing hosts. The communication, cleanliness, comfort and all around amazing experience. We left feeling we have met friends and can not wait to go back.

Very inviting

Very nicely decorated and clean. Tiki theme is one of a kind. Nice view of the lake from the front porch. Hosts were very communicative before, during and after our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Great property

We had a great time and the condo was exactly as advertised. The screened in porch was especially nice for a morning cup of coffee or a drink in the evening. Doug and Traci were awesome hosts.

Our first visit to Paradise Lakes

Doug and Traci are awesome hosts. We stayed in the freaky tiki; they met us and showed us the condo and made sure we were comfortable and had water and snacks for us since we arrived later than expected. The condo was very quiet, and the bed and pillows were awesome! We slept like a rock! The place was neat and clean and had everything you need on your trip. They also gave some recommendations for places to eat which were great as well. I would highly recommend a stay with Doug and Tracy. We will definitely use them again when we get the opportunity to come back.

Great weekend getaway!

Doug was a great host. He met us and showed us the place. He responded immediately to our text messages during our stay. Very attentive. The condo is clean and quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Towels and linens superior quality. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place with great neighbors!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed. We had great communication with Doug and Tracy. We’ll be back next year!!!

Funky Fun Place

This condo is very well put together - everything we needed was in the kitchen, there were plenty of towels, the Tiki-themed decorations are clever & fun. The location is good & plenty of parking. Only issue is that 2 of the next door neighbors are smokers so we had to shut the door to the porch a few times. The owners are very friendly and helpful. All & all a great choice!

Fantastic place to stay. Can’t wait to go back.

Had a Fantastic time, I highly recommend this property 100% bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on.very comfortable living room and well stocked kitchen, The decorations are super fun and really make you feel like you’re on vacation . The host was Great. Cannot wait to go back for another vacation. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. 😁

Doug and Traci bought their condo at Paradise Lakes in October of 2020. After being quarantined for months, it was time to do things differently, so they bought what was supposed to be a vacation condo...but they just ended up loving Paradise Lakes so much that they decided to make the move a permanent one. Not only did they go "all in," they let it "all hang out" because Paradise Lakes is a nudist resort!

Traci was no stranger to nudism after entertaining nudists as an internationally touring comedian for 15+ years, the last 8 of those years performing exclusively for nudist resorts, hotel parties, and cruises. She brings 18+ years as an entertainer, and 25+ years of being an entrepreneur in multiple capacities, including promotional products, real estate, and hypnosis. Doug brings 25+ years of real estate management experience in addition to 32+ years in food and beverage experience, 25 of those years with Disney World in Orlando.

Naked Pineapple Getaways is the perfect culmination of what we do best, bringing joy and comfort to others in the place we love most! All of our condos have been renovated from top to bottom and given a fun and memorable theme, and delightful touches of whimsy and humor. We hope that you leave Paradise Lakes with a smile on your face for another reason than because you saw naked people!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We christened this unit "Gettin' Freaky in the Tiki" because we bought it fully furnished with the bamboo furniture, which reminded Traci of many of the old roadside Florida motels she stayed in as a kid visiting Florida in the 1970s. One feature that had to go, were the kitchen counter tops and backsplash - little pink tiles - yuck! Doug scraped the tiles off and recreated a board for the backsplash. Traci found the retro fabric and mod podged it where the pink tiles were. A few coats of epoxy later - we had what has to become our signature feature in our units - the funkiest counter tops ever! The Tiki lamp, the bamboo end tables, and many of the bedroom decorations were recycled from another condo. The "pane" window in the living was an old window that Doug painted, and affixed a fabric Hawaiian scene to the back. In the bedroom, there's a slanted shelf we didn't know what to do with, so we created a hammock for a hula girl to leave her coconuts and grass skirts while she skinny dipped. One of our guests accidentally left his swim trunks behind, so we washed them and made them part of the decor (with his permission). This condo was our first to be rented, and we love it because of the screened in patio and view of the water. Enjoy!

All of our properties are in Paradise Lakes, which has been a nudist community since the mid 80s. If you've never tried being a nudist - this is a great community to dip your...toes in! We understand that being a nudist is not for everybody...but there's something to be said for not having to squeeze into a tight swim suit. There's something to be said for being accepted for who you are as a person, because no one can judge you by what you're wearing! There is nothing like full freedom and radical body acceptance! We hope to be a positive part of your personal growth, whether you're new to nudism, or just need a nudist tune up!
