Within 1 mile: historic downtown Cañon City, scenic River Walk, Royal Gorge Route Railroad, Centennial Park (playground and splash pad), whitewater kayak park, Skyline Drive and Hogback Open Space. Many local trail systems are nearby, offering year-round mountain biking, hiking or trail running. 20 minute drive to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park. One hour drive to Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Salida or Westcliffe.

Fun in Canon

We had a great time at this charming cottage home. It was cozy, homey but with all the amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Great stay, great location

They did a great job having all the kitchen drawers labeled, etc. The beds were ok, plenty of space. They did have a bug problem when we were there, but I'm sure they'll remedy that. Thank you!

Kid friendly spot for family fun

We stayed for two nights with our daughter, son in law and 3 grandkids. We loved being able to walk to town, Centennial Park and the FREE museum.Four bedrooms gave us plenty of space. Lots of seating at the DR table for board games. A wonderful hot tub for end of day fun.Cant beat the location!

We were in canon city for a wedding. This house was perfect for our family of five! It’s clearly an older home (Zillow says built in 1888!!), but they have updated it well. The hot tub is a great addition and very clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The house had plenty of towels as well as soap, shampoo, conditioner in the showers. We would definitely stay here again. We loved the location and the walking ease to restaurants and shops.

Comfortable home in Great Location

We brought our three kids to Canon City and this house was the perfect location! We could explore the town, do white water rafting, and see the Gorge with ease. The house had comfortable beds and we enjoyed the hot tub.

An Excellent Stay

We loved everything about this beautiful house. It was super clean and very well organized. The location was perfect for our weekend in Cañon City. Joanna has thought of everything to make this the best place to visit. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone heading to the area.

Wonderful home

This home was wonderful for our family of 4. Very clean and had everything we needed. Main Street was just a short walk away. We enjoyed the historical house and neighborhood. The hot tub was clean and an added bonus at the end of a long day. We highly recommend!

Great Time

Wonderful location within the downtown. Short walk to main street which was wonderful to experience. House was delightful. Our kids had a great time with the setup. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to the area.

Great location and hosts

A great location with responsive hosts. Easy drive to explore the mountains and various trails -- Royal Gorge, Salida, Colorado Springs, Pueblo -- all in easy driving distance. Plus all the cafes and groceries stores a short walk or drive away in Cañon City. We would go back again!

Stay in Cañon City and visit to the Royal Gorge

Very nice stay in Cañon City. The house was clean and will set up. We enjoyed spending the evenings just sitting in the well groomed yard. Close to the Royal Gorge train and places to eat.

Perfect Home for our Family!

This home is fantastic. Our family of 5 which included 3 grown boys was in Canon City for the weekend to white water raft and explore the area, and we were lucky enough to book this gem. It's got plenty of room and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub and comfy seating area in the front yard were definite bonuses! The home is clean and communication with the owner was very easy. Would definitely stay again.

Great location in Canon City

We enjoyed our stay at this rental in Canon City. Everything was exactly as described and everything we needed for our stay was there. A very short walk to restaurants on Main St. We also enjoyed visiting Centennial Park which was also within walking distance. The kids loved floating in the river there and the park had a nice splash park as well. Joanna gave us some great tips on things to do in the area. We had also booked a rafting trip with Raftmasters and very much enjoyed that trip as well. Don’t hesitate to stay here if you are in the area!!

Wonderful Stay

My wife and I visited Canon City for a long weekend for our anniversary. The home was centrally located. It isn't fancy but it is clean and comfortable. We had a glitch where our door code didn't work but the owner fixed the problem quickly.

Everything was good. Only concern we’re the dining room chairs got awful hard while doing puzzles and playing cards. Great water pressure in upstairs bath.

A Quick Overnight for Business

I only had the opportunity to spend one night in between work meetings, and the house was perfect to meet my needs. I had originally booked a local hotel for the night, but at the last minute, decided to look for a rental which would feel much homier. Joanna was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. Check-in was easy, the house is charming and clean, and it is conveniently located downtown. Special touches are found throughout the house, the kitchen is well stocked, and even though I only used one bedroom, there are three additional bedrooms upstairs to accommodate larger groups. While I didn't get to use the hot tub, there is one. If I ever find myself in Canon City again, I will definitely inquire whether this gem is available.
