Treetop Loft-28 miles to Yellowstone-Owner Operated

Enjoy a personal stay that is actually managed by the owner! Relax in this 1200 sq ft loft just 28 miles from the park entrance, where I strive to make you feel like a local not a tourist. The Treetop Loft is special due to its open design, fun décor and unique structural height that has you nestled within the pine tree tops. There are a total of nine windows that make it refreshingly bright and open with plenty of fun things to do for every guest. After a day in the park, you can retreat to your own private space in our safe and quiet neighborhood where you are my priority for the duration of your stay. You can cook, BBQ, build a campfire, watch a movie, play pool/ping pong, paint rocks, catch up on laundry or just simply relax away from the buzzing crowds and traffic.

Treetop family fun

Great place to stay

We stayed 4 nights while visiting Yellowstone. Nice quiet neighborhood. Spacious room with games to play. Very clean and well maintained. Owner is very friendly and went above and beyond to help us in anyway.

Cozy Treetop Loft Cabin – A Home Away from Home

Our family had a wonderful stay in the treetop loft cabin! It was cozy, homey, and incredibly relaxing — the perfect place to unwind. We had everything we needed for a comfortable week-long stay. Our teenage boys especially enjoyed playing ping pong and badminton. Evenings by the firepit were a highlight — we all loved it, and the boys had a great time making s’mores. The cabin is also in a great location — just a 20-minute drive to Yellowstone National Park! We truly felt at home and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful visit, and the property was just perfect for a National Park getaway. Cheryl was indeed a super host. The neighborhood streets were undergoing utility work during our stay and that was the only less than perfect element of the visit. It was a 36 minute commute from driveway to West Yellowstone NP entrance. The treetop loft was spacious and comfortable. We made good use of the electric cook tops for easy meals, and the ping pong table was a big hit. We saw two moose in the neighborhood one morning as we were heading out. We would happily return again.

Tree Loft in the Woods

Very well appointed. Very Clean. Comfortable beds and ceiling fans in the rooms. All the comforts of home and then some. The host was very thoughtful in all the amenities provided and had great communication. We had a great stay! Thank you, PJL

Splendid cabin in the woods.

Beautiful large spacious cabin in peaceful setting. Especially enjoyed ping-pong table. Large TV was a favorite of teen. Delightful Mexican restaurant nearby that had GF items on their menu. Huge washer and dryer took care of all our laundry needs. Hostess extremely cordial.

No cook top stove, close to other cabins, no mention of fishing locations. Other then that it works for three nights.

Missed Island Park

Great place with a slightly unusual layout. Once we got used to the layout it was actually really functional and a great place to stay. Close to Yellowstone and getting to the other attractions around Island Park. We would definitely stay there again. Host was close by and will to help and make suggestions. Only minor complaint would be the noise from motorcycles, ATV, etc but we knew that would be the case from being familiar with the area and we also rented an ATV.

Absolutely Amazing

This property was amazing. It was our home away from home. The property had everything you need for a comfortable getaway. It was quite, comfortable, and cozy. The kids were entertained nightly with the ping pong table/pool table and the gaming console that was provided. Only being 30 minutes from Yellowstone allowed us to stay away from the hustle and bustle of west Yellowstone yet be able to travel with ease. I would absolutely book this property again. Thank You Cheryl for providing us with such an amazing property for an excellent price.

3-Day Yellowstone Tour

Great place! - pool table/ping pong entertained the teens perfectly. There's a lot going on in a small place, but the layout is smart and you don't really feel like you're on top of each other....even with 5 or 6 people staying. Plenty of blankets and kitchen ware, and the host, Cheryl, is very friendly and easy to get a hold of and quickly responsive. The pull out couch isn't very comfortable, but they never are (there's a memory foam topper though, which helps). A bit far for driving in and out of Yellowstone park daily, but so nice to get away from the crowds in West Yellowstone.

Clean and spacious

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Treetop loft. Everything was clean and Cheryl provided welcome information. I did not miss having a stove - I used the appliances that Cheryl provided. It was a little warm in the afternoon, but we opened the windows and turned on the fans and were comfortable. The beds were so comfortable! We liked having the TV and Wi-Fi after spending a few days doing without. We also enjoyed having the washer and dryer so that we did not have to take home dirty clothes.

I am the owner of this property and my family owns four other lots next to it. We have been coming up to Island park since the 1980's when my grandparents purchased our first lot and we have been expanding ever since.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This particular lot was used to build a large garage for summer/winter toys below and extra sleeping and lounging space above. Then, as the family expanded we added two adorable mini guest cabins. My family and I use these spaces regularly and when we are not using them, I love sharing them with Yellowstone Park visitors from all over the world. This space is very special to me so I'm particular about the quality of quests I choose to share it with. You will find it is well cared for by all of us and I'm confident you will not regret your choice!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The loft design was well thought out. It's incredibly comfortable yet gives you a bit of a camping and roughing it feel due to its absence of a traditional kitchen. Don't panic, the Treetop Loft is equipped with plenty of cooking appliances. It has induction burners with a variety of pots and pans, toaster, coffee pot, electric fry pan, crock pot, insta-pot, rice cooker and microwave. It's actually this aspect of the place that makes it a unique and fun stay while vacationing in the mountains.
