We had a great time staying at the house. It was clean, close to downtown Valpo, and we very much enjoyed the fenced in back yard.

We really enjoyed our stay, so much so we wanted to extend our stay an extra 2 days, but it was already booked. I loved that when you were there it felt like your home away from home. The house was clean, well decorated and well equipped with all the things you need to cook, wash dishes, wash clothes. The bathroom experience was nice too. There were plenty of towels and all the bathroom essentials were available for use. My kids loved the experience and the air hockey table downstairs. The only thing I would say is to update the stove. I was able to cook on the stove top but was not able to bake. Other than that everything was amazing!

Convenient location, nicely maintained home

This home was well appointed and cozy. Although it's not really downtown Valpo its an easy walk thru neighborhoods, less than a mile, about a 15-20 minute walk and worth eating and shopping there if you'd like.. Well worth staying here.

Very clean, quiet neighborhood, 10 minute walk to downtown Valparaiso and 12 minute drive from the porter county fair. House looks just like the pictures. Our daughter loved the air hockey table and we loved having our coffee at the back porch in the mornings!

The cleaning crew left behind dirty dishes and dirty cabinets, as in food on the cabinets.The rest was perfect for our stay!

Cozy Home

We were in town for a family celebration and found this nice, cozy home for a 1-night stay. Close to area restaurants and bars. Appreciated the area recommendations from Daniel. Dinner at Stacks was great! Photographs accurately represent home. Note that the second bed is large enough for 1 adult. We would stay here again.

Beautiful Home

This house is even more beautiful in person! We especially enjoyed the sun room and back porch! I can’t say enough good things! The location is centrally located so everything was close. The owners are very quick to answer any questions! I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Valpo!

Great location

This home is close to all of the downtown entertainment! The host is very responsive and the place had many extras that you don’t aways get in a vrbo- shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee pods and creamer. We enjoyed the back porch in the am with some coffee. On the street, this is one of the nicest homes.

Host makes the property even better

The house is cute, uncluttered, and in good working order. We had a couple of questions and one challenge, which were addressed quickly and appropriately by the host. We hope to make this a regular rental when we visit our VU student. FYI, VU campus is less than a 5 minute drive from the house.

Christmas celebration with family

If your plans include exploring Valparaiso and/or The Dunes, this house deserves 5 stars. Our plans, however, were to have family over to celebrate Christmas. This included cooking all but one meal together. We cooked for both meat lovers and vegetarions. While the kitchen is equipped with a good assorment of basics, we needed 3 pots and we could only locate a crock pot and skillets which would not work for the meals we had planned. We also needed a couple of mixing bowls and a colander. Some additional utensils such as a potato masher, a wire whip, a couple more cooking spoons including a slotted spoon would have been helpful too. This was our very first experience with VRBO and I realize now I should have asked some additional questions rather than making assumptions. The hosts were prompt in answering the questions I did ask. I marked "accuracy of listing" with 4 stars only because the pictures of cabinet contents in the kitchen could be a little more definitive. This property is a good one and with a few kitchen additions would have been absolutely perfect for us. Everything else was great!

Trouble free clean rental

Good location for where we needed to be, and the back yard patio was a nice bonus. We appreciated the kitchen equipment as my wife likes to cook when we’re in a rental. Easy to communicate with hosts with quick replies. WiFi worked well, and we figured out the AC without much difficulty.
