Problems with mold

This is an interesting property and we would have stayed here but for the mold issues, which are considerable. As I am being treated for mycotoxin poisoning staying at the house posed a health risk and so we had to leave. But this would not be an issue for most people with normally functioning immune systems. The house is a study in industrial design with some interesting additions like the day of the dead skulls and a piano that doesn't play but looks cool.. The house was clean and the host was quick to respond to issues.

Great base for LA adventures.

As advertised, clean, spacious spot with three nice bedrooms. Firm beds, nice open living/kitchen area. Washer/dryer was a little hidden off the back porch, requiring passing through one bedroom, and the coffee maker was having some issues. Otherwise, our visit was pretty flawless. Owner was quick and responsive to questions. Recommended!

Had a very nice stay. Had trouble finding the place.. It was dark when we arrived and with the gate closed, you can't see the property. Finally figured out the street addresses are painted on the curb. TV has no cable so you must be a subscriber to streaming apps to watch. (this was noted in the description, but i glossed right over it). Location as promised-near everything we wanted to see. Overall, a wonderful time

Wonderful Stay

We came into LA for a week for work and were able to find and book this gem - it was wonderful! Our host was easy to communicate with, everything was as expected, and we loved not being in a dreary hotel room. We cooked at home and made coffee in the mornings and sat on the front deck. It was lovely.

Great Stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property! And Ricardo was responsive, flexible and helpful! Location was nice and central to all things LA and the place was as expected - charming and unique - as depicted. A couple things to note: - The parking spot is tight and a bit tough to get in to. Street parking is readily available. - The place is charming and unique...and also older...outlets and mirrors are limited. Overall, a great stay in W Hollywood! Enjoy.

Our host, Ricardo, was very clear with check-in and description of the home and it’s amenities was spot on. Communication was quick when we had a question. Property was clean and fully stocked (towels, linens, kitchen necessities, even some extra beverages in the fridge!). Great location for the different activities we had planned. Would definitely come back…

Charming house in a great location for exploring Los Angeles

We stayed 5 days with a family of 5. Two teens and one 11 year old. Great location walking distance from Hollywood Blvd attractions and many restaurants and bistros. Centrally located for branching out to other parts of LA. The house is charming and the online pictures accurately represent it. You feel nestled into the neighborhood. As someone else said, the beds are VERY firm and were a little firm for our taste. I think just adding egg crate foam pads to the top would be an improvement. Getting in and out of the parking spot is a little bit of a trick but manageable unless you have a very large vehicle. We had a minivan and managed fine. My daughter enjoyed playing the piano. Could use a tuning and there is a broken string. House was clean and we had the other amenities we needed for a pleasant stay.

Decent place, some annoying features

Great location, close to good food and sights. Parking was difficult, there's a tree on one side of the approach and the gate on the other, could easily take off your mirror. The beds are hard. One of the bedroom doors doesn't stay closed. The showers are obviously not cleaned between stays (hair on the walls made that obvious, yuck). The best part is if you have several people showering in the morning, the "smart" irrigation thinks you've sprung a leak and shuts off the water. My son didn't love having to get out of the shower with shampoo still in his hair. They eventually turned the water back on but that was super annoying. Wouldn't stay again.

Family trip was great

So many great things about our stay. But private off street parking and 3 bedrooms were ideal. Centrally located and safe neighborhood. We highly recommended this place.
