With the entire river facing wall of cabin glass, you have glorious view of the Caddo River from Living Room, Kitchen or any of the many decks & patios. Mere steps from getting your feet in the river, life doesn't get any better than this. Ideal for 6 adults, the rest of the beds are set up for the kiddos. The cabin is literally on the Caddo River, offering fishing, boating & swimming opportunities. Additional amazing fishing, boating & hiking are nearby. Albert Pike Recreation Area is 24 miles away for hiking, 11 miles to Kirby AR for lake fishing, boating, skiing, etc & 30 miles to Hot Springs AR for boating, skiing, fishing, hiking, shopping and more.

Perfect Float the River Getaway and Location

The location of this house was perfect for what we came to Glenwood for. Float the Caddo River! The house itself was very comfortable and setup just right for our weekend stay.

Long Weekend

We decided at the last minute to get away for the weekend as a family. The house is in a great spot on the river and my boys enjoyed exploring and fishing. We will definitely stay again!

Amazing place to get away

We thoroughly enjoyed the property. Sitting right on the Caddo River we tubed from launch point straight back to the house. All the residential and rental properties around are very well cared for and everyone we met was super nice and neighborly. Home was well stocked on all necessities. We will definitely be back!

Family Mini Vacay

The property and surrounding area are beautiful! The property was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible to the river. My family which included 4 littles - ages 5, 5, 3, and 2 had a great time!! We floated, lounged, caught crawfish, searched for pretty rocks, played games, cooked, ate, and enjoyed our family. Thank you for the memories!!

Can't beat this spot on the river

You really can't beat this particular location on the river. The view from the porch and from inside the living room is just epic. The river (especially when the water is up and it "forks" at the property) is perfect for all ages: a very shallow portion for very young children, and the main river passage which is great for tubing/kayaking for older kids, teens and adults, with some fun small rapids.

Perfect Home away from home

I was able to get my mom and my Aunt and cousins together to have Mother’s Day together for the the first time in over 10 years for all of us together. This was the perfect place for that. The only thing that could have made it better would have been no rain and more time. 5 star accommodations and communication!!

The Hangout

We had an amazing time at the cabin. It was everything we could have ever imagined. Walking down to the river and floating to the town of Glenwood was something my girls will never forget. Thank Lisa and Lance for answering all my questions and allowing us to make memories for a lifetime in your beautiful home!!!!!

Great view

Beds were comfortable. Loved the shower and tiles. We really liked the separate sleeping areas. Location was ideal. While this property was pet friendly just be aware you may be carrying your pet up and down steep stairs. Would have liked at least one more chair in the living area.With a few tweaks I would rate it a five.

Absolutely amazing property!

We had such a wonderful time at the Hangout. We loved the location being right on the river as well as the location of the home. The area was safe for the kiddos to run around outside and in and out of the water. The house was well stocked, clean and perfect for our group of kiddos ages 2-12. the host was very responsive and answered all of our questions. We were having so much fun we decided we wanted to stay another night and the host was very prompt and accommodating with our request. We will definitely be back.

Last of summer getaway

We really enjoyed getting to meet up with family and stay at this wonderful cabin! It was the perfect size for our family of 6. Nicely decorated, very clean and had all of the essentials (dishes, cookware, dish soap, etc.)- I have stayed at others that did not provide this.. so, points for that. There were a few minor discrepancies that made it less than perfect.. but, it is still a very nice cabin and a great place to stay if you’re in the area. And probably the best part would be that amazing view of the river! It is so peaceful and beautiful!

Nice house to relax

Stayed for 4 nights with my sister and niece. Too big of a house for just the three of us, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Brought our Labrador’s to play in the river - they enjoyed it too. We tuned the river one day. Good tubing outfitter less than 5 minutes away. Took opportunity to do a few day hikes around the area. Hiked the Winding Staircase Trail on the Little Missouri River (~40 minutes away) and it was very beautiful. Spent evenings on the big deck watching the stars. Saw a river otter one morning. As others noted, you cross a creek to get to the river but the river area was very pretty and private while we were there. House was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Everything we needed.
