Great Location, Host and Cabin

This was a beautiful location on the river and was such a great place to spend a fall weekend. The host communicated very well during the trip and provided recommendations for local attractions. The house had several really cool features that everyone enjoyed.

Three sister’s getaway

Terrific cabin in a beautiful location

This is a wonderful cabin in a great location, overlooking the Coosawattee River, only a few minutes from the amenities of Ellijay. The cabin was clean, spacious, everything worked properly, the kitchen was well equipped, lots of small details added up to a very satisfying stay. Sitting on the deck and watching the river flow by and occasional people floating by on tubes is fun and relaxing. One suggestion is to add a small table to the upper level deck for dining outside so meal items don't have to be carried down the steps to the lower level deck.

Relaxing Stay on the Coosawattee River

Wonderful location for a quiet and relaxing getaway for a few days. Owners were very communicative and helpful, and check-in was quick and uneventful. The cabin is right on the river with plenty of outdoor seating, a walkway down to the river, and firepit. Cabin is well appointed, has a beautiful interior, and comfortable living and sleeping arrangements to accommodate 6 people. There's even a pinball machine in the basement for some indoor fun! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spring break

Our family enjoyed the property and views very much! The weather was perfect, cool at night and warm in the daytime. The property was well stocked, clean, and everything in good working condition. The hot tub was clean and a great way to see the stars at night. The beds were very comfortable. The location was very convenient to shopping and there was a lot to do and see within 30 min.

Mountain getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property owner was always quick to respond if we had a question. The cabin had everything we needed. It was relaxing to be by the river and the hot tub was a amazing after two long days of hiking. Make sure you eat at The Roof and Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza!

Heaven on the River

Cozy cabin located right on the river in a beautiful community nestled in the North Georgia mountains. Convenient to a charming downtown area with shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. Not far from the Apple orchards and just a short drive to some amazing hiking and waterfalls. The Apple pie was a sweet bonus!

We enjoyed a wonderful three day weekend at The Goose. The home is in a private gated community which provided a sense of security. The home itself was designed beautifully and everything was labeled perfectly. Everything we needed for grilling was there. The hot tub excellent. The walk down to the river was fun and easy. The hammock chairs are great. And of course, the apple pie was the best ever. We hope to make annual return visits! Thank you to KC for her great communication throughout our visit!

Beautiful property

We stayed for Fall break and it was the perfect place. Fishing in the river, roasting marshmallows in the camp fire, and relaxing in the hot tub. We saw deer every morning just walking along the bank of the river. Very peaceful! The property had all the comforts of home and the hosts were wonderful! We hope to come back.

More than just a place to sleep

Great stay!

We travel to the area frequently and this may be our favorite location yet! Our blended family had such a wonderful time enjoying this home. We relaxed by the fire, did some fishing, and soaked in the hot tub. The home was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed and more. We had a great experience with the property manager and hope to return again soon!

We had such a great stay! Cabin and location just beautiful. We all had fun sitting by the fire, enjoying the hot tub, and of course watching the deer. Cabin was so enjoyable! And we loved our apple pie. Such a thoughtful gift! Stay you won’t be disappointed.

Great cabin. My only suggestions are to get a nice pillow top for the beds. They are very firm. Also, I recommend providing a neighborhood map that we found at the POA office. We loved the cabin. Thanks.

I just left and already want to return 😭🥰

This home away from home was probably one of the most relaxing holidays stays i have EVER had with my family. Everything about this place was like heaven on earth. The sounds of the river, birds, deers walking on by…. HEAVEN. And the home itself was amazing! The details and craftsmanship….. gorgeous. I will probably be choosing this home from here on out for the next family vacations! Thank you for your great hospitality and special gifts (oh yeah, we got a delicious apple pie and the cutest ornament) 10/10!
