Bluedoor House Comfy Home close to NB, SA, & RAFB

Hi! I grew up in this neighborhood and just love this recently updated home and sweet community. We've put lots of love in the home and hope to make your stay a wonderful experience. The Bluedoor Home is conveniently located near I35, FM 1604, Randolph AFB and 5 minutes away from IKEA- San Antonio. The Bluedoor Home backs up to a greenbelt. It is also a block away from the Live Oak Police/Fire Department. We hope you enjoy this cozy, family friendly home in a quiet and safe neighborhood.
The space
This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home with spacious living area and backyard/covered patio is your next home away from home. You'll hopefully find everything you need for a cozy and comfortable stay. Great for pilots, families, or group of friends. You have full kitchen with cooking utensils, pots and pans, a brand new Keurig coffee maker and more. Family TV in the living room and the Master Bedroom with fast internet. The garage is also available for parking.

It is a few minutes away from great restaurants and shopping at the Forum.
Conveniently loctated 20-30 minutes from any place you could want to be in San Antonio:
- 20 minutes to Downtown SA or the trendy Pearl District
- 20 -30 minutes to La Cantera, Fiesta TX, Sea World, Schlitterbaun
Other things to note
We love pets! There is $20 pet fee per pet per night. The pet fee will cap out at $200 for extended stays.

Lovely, comfortable home with easy access to speedy travel to all of the city. Well appointed and clean, plus good communication from the host. Use of the garage during our stay was a terrific bonus.

Bluedoor House was a very comfortable rental. It met all our needs for our stay. Having a washer/dryer was helpful, and we even had a chance to use the outdoor grill. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed being able to walk through the neighborhood and the park across the road.

Older but updated and very clean house in a safe neighborhood, close to police/fire stations and municipal buildings. Very quiet at night. Within 5-7 minutes of several restaurants, a very large grocery store, and a Home Depot, among several other businesses. Diary Queen is only 3 minutes away! Interstate 35 that goes to downtown and to the inner loop (I-410), and the 1604 outer loop, are 5 minutes or less from the house. Overall, a very nice place at a reasonable price.

Good, not great.

The yard could use some work. Lots of rocks everywhere so it made it hard to kick a ball around outside. The house was clean! Smelled great. Only real problem for us was the beds. They were so hard and uncomfortable I almost considered getting a hotel. I think they may have been memory foam. When you try to reposition yourself, it's hard to roll out of the dent your previous position left behind. I asked the host about using the community pool, but she didn't respond until I was already checking out.

Just what we needed.

Just moved from Las Vegas and needed to house my family for over 2 weeks till our house was ready. It couldnt have worked out any better! Hosts were friendly and allowed us to check in early. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Live Oak area!!

A Wonderful Home That Met All of Our Needs

The house was great and Elsa was great to work with. The only suggestions I would make would be to change the price of the community pool in the description from $5 to $10/person. And 2 of the 3 beds are super firm, if that might be a consideration for you.

Great house

We stayed here to attend an indoor soccer camp. The location was great, very close to the field. The house had all windows locked and very clean. The host stocked enough supplies for our one-week stay, which I really appreciated. I was also able to park in the garage and use the garage remote to come and go during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and we had no issue relaxing in the evenings. One more thing, it was so nice to have a good amount of towels!!!!! And the fans are awesome! Thank you!!!!!!

Great location, nice house

My family really enjoyed this house. The backyard was good, our dogs were happy. The big, black couch was awesome. Plenty of dishes in the kitchen, the tv was easy to use.

Super comfortable and clean! Great location

We stayed for a few days and the house was great! It’s so cute, well decorated and the neighborhood is quiet. Close to a lot of stuff. About 20-25 min from San Antonio. Lots of amenities and things to use in the home. Tons of space to spread out and relax. The black couch is so comfy! Thank you for the hospitality and making us feel so comfortable. It was great having communication during our stay

The home was beautiful, nice yard, close to parks and centrally located. The neighbors are really nice. Enough room for 7 of us plus our dog. We will stay again. Elsa is very nice

Hi! I grew up in the city of Live Oak, Texas, and just love this community. Having spent most of my life in the San Antonio area, I know the beautiful culture and entertainment San Antonio/New Braunfels has to offer and I'm happy to share this with guests from around the country. I'm married to my high school sweetheart and have twin girls who are my most precious blessings. I was an elementary teacher (three time "Teacher of the Year") and while I LOVED teaching, I love the flexibility hosting has offered me and my family. My family and I love to travel the country visiting National Parks. We also enjoy day tripping and visiting Texas treasure spots. I love spending time with my family, reading, cooking for others, and tidying messes around our home. I also have three cats and a dog named Hermione.

I grew up in the city of Live Oak, Texas and just love this sweet community. I attended Live Oak Elementary and have wonderful memories of walking to school and riding my bike around the neighborhood. I loving hosting visitors in my childhood neighborhood.

This beautiful home is conveniently located close to New Braunfels, Comal River tubbing, Sea World, Schlitterbaun, and The Pearl Downtown San Antonio. It is located in a safe neighborhood with the police department around the block. There is are two community parks, one little one right behind the house. There is an award winning disc golf course one block away from the home.
