Pap’s Place-Pet friendly Lakefront cabin w/dock on secluded Lake Hartwell cove

Welcome to my 10 acre private nature reserve on beautiful Lake Hartwell. This cabin features a main bedroom, a loft and a finished terrace level. There are 2 full baths with step in showers. There is plenty of covered deck space for relaxing or grilling. Accommodations are for four and perfect for a family or couple. Outside the cabin has a dock for swimming and boating. The cabin is fully equipped for a monthly stay. Tell me what else you need?
The space:
Master on main has a queen bed with full bath. There is a terrace level with inside and outside entrance. It has a full bath and a queen sized bed as well. There is also a full size mattress bed in the loft. I have a small gym set up with incline bench and 15-30lb dumbbells'
Towels for 4 will be provided. There is a gas grill with an outside picnic table. Two kayaks and two water floats. Launch your boat at park nearby and dock it here for your stay. Tell me about your pet and well make it work.

Amazing peaceful place

We were able to rellax with a amazing view. The lake and dock are short walk. Dock had nice comfortable chairs. Can not say enough about our weekend get-away

Perfect Get Away

We had a wonderful stay at Pap's Place! Pap takes great pride in his property. The house was clean, beds are comfortable and property is amazing. Pap communicated quickly and offered suggestions about the area. We hope to return for another family get away!

Perfect football weekend!

We stayed at Pap’s Place cabin for a Clemson football weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! The cabin is cozy and well-maintained, with a beautiful view that made mornings extra special. The fire pit was a highlight, offering the perfect spot to relax in the evenings. It’s easy to find and accessible, yet feels wonderfully secluded for a peaceful getaway. The host was incredibly responsive and ensured the cabin was spotless upon our arrival. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic retreat!

Nice lake spot

The house was very clean and had everything necessary for a few night stay. The porch was probably my favorite part of the house, with a small grill and a little prep bar for outdoor cooking. The dock was enjoyable as well as it provided some relaxation in the evenings. Nice amenities like a good TV with enough wifi to stream sporting events. Overall an excellent value!

Pap’s Place

Pap’s place was the perfect spot for our family’s weekend lake trip. We had 3 adults, 2 children, and 2 small dogs and there was plenty of space for our family. The property was amazing. We loved having a dock available to dock our boat. The nature trail was beautiful. The house was clean and everything was accurate to the listing. Steve was attentive and communicative. We would definitely stay at Pap’s place again in the future.

Absolutely perfect!

Girls trip with mom, aunt, and sister. The house was perfect for cooking, boating, swiming, and just relaxing. The dock was amazing and my 25ft pontoon fit just right. The cove was so private with little to no boat traffic. Minutes to the big water for tubing or skiing. It was an amazing week of making memories. Will definitely return. Thanks Paps for such a perfect week!

Family down time

What a fantastic property. Enjoyed our very short stay. Only wish it could have been longer. Met every need. Loved having our 4 legged friend and hike in the woods. Lake hartwell is beautiful no boat traffic at all during our weekday stay. Upstairs shower could use a new shower curtain but is that really worth any stress. Look forward to booking this property again!!!!!

Peaceful Bliss

Steve’s/Pap’s property was phenomenal! We would even consider visiting again. The water was clear, the home was clean, and the set up was perfect. We worked out every morning, hiked to Riley Creek Falls, and enjoyed our patio eats and hang outs. We even had the opportunity to meet Pap while hanging at the dock while he cleared out some weeds and dried out kayaks. He takes great pride in his property and it shows. 10 out 10!!

Pap's Place

Overall our stay was great. The Wifi went out the week before our arrival and we were notified in advance, but it was too late to find another property for our weekend that would work. Not the end of the world, cell service was great out side the house and the kids did some homework with the hotspot from the cell phone. We were also told the week before our visit that the water level of the lake was low. this was quite disappointing as you had to drag a kayak maybe 70 yds to get to the water without having to walk knee deep in mud. This was late September. We were not there for a water sports weekend, but we definitely look for a lake house so we can enjoy the water. We were offered a refund if we wanted to cancel our stay for the water and the wifi, but one week before parents weekend at Clemson, I wasn't able to find another property that met our needs in our budget. The communication was great and the property is great, just missed water access by what looks like at least a month this year. I would stay again, but would definitely check water levels. Pap was great and communication was quick.

It was cold outside

So do to holidays and not normal freezing temps, some things stood out . Showers were not to warm. Oven was not very good . Good place if you can dine out but not for preparing meals for 4 or more people. Too small

Thanksgiving Tiger weekend getaway

My wife and I enjoyed the layout of the cabin and the upstairs kitchen and master bedroom, while my 16yr old son loved his downstairs man cave bedroom and bathroom. Paps place was privately secluded, but close enough to towns of Anderson, Clemson, Seneca, and Westminster to find plenty to do! Thanks for a great Thanksgiving weekend! David

Paps Place is Amazing

Great stay, very clean and updated home. Owner was very nice and we had great communication. Paps is very quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing week with family on Lake Hartwell.
