Enough room for the entire family or multiple families. This lakefront property is approximately 4,260 square feet with plenty of room throughout. Interior amenities include a hot tub, indoor bar, bumper pool table& stand-alone pool table, arcade machine, pinball, chess table, puzzle table, multiple rooms with televisions, and free wireless internet access.

There are also many outdoor amenities, including lake front access, with advance notice a boat house for your use when bringing your own boat, an oversized lower and upper deck, outdoor kitchen (complete with a charcoal grill, gas fire table, natural gas grill, and natural gas griddle w/air fryer). You are welcome to use the kayak and paddle board, float mat, and life jackets at the property during your stay. We also have cornhole game and a large connect four games for you to enjoy.

The Decatur area offers local restaurants (Including lakefront restaurants), Devon Lakeshore amphitheater, (devonamphitheater.com), Scovill zoo, an overlook Adventure Park completes with mini-golf, batting cages, rope course, and waterpark.

We are now offering boat rentals exclusively to our guests. If you are interested in renting a boat during your stay, please inquire for further details. Please see below for more information.

We combined our families to have Thanksgiving together. This home was perfect! The kids had an amazing time! Each bedroom felt like home, there were activities for everyone outside and in. We made many wonderful memories here!!

We love staying here! It is big enough for the whole family! The dining table can hold us all. The kids love the different ways up and down the steps. So much fun!

Wendy is an excellent host, the house is well equipped with all the tools that we need for cooking in the kitchen and outdoor. My family and I loved the lake view and enjoyed it.We had a wonderful time!

Overall, the house was great. Small added touches of coffee, hot chocolate, creamer and small "forgetful items" in the bathrooms was very considerate.The lake "toys" provided enjoyment for the entire family, regardless of age. Kayak was nice and lake was calm making it use very enjoyable. ** we did lose one oar with black end, it floated until we got to it, then sank. Also lost orange ball but replaced it with red one.The large deck in the rear of the house allowed for entire group to sit and enjoy games to be played.We normally don't use dining table at our gatherings, however we found this nice to eat together in this way without technology going on.House was clean and inviting. The selection puzzles and other games was nice.Only negative comment I can think of is that a bath mat as an option would be nice. The tub was a little slick and no handles for entrance or exit. Also, the mowers arrived around 9 to 10 on Thursday. This may be out of your control so I left this off of the rating. Most of the house was still sleeping.Thanks again for an enjoyable week and the use of your home. I appreciate the gesture for the military discount as well.

Fantastic Property! Plenty of room for our large family! Large kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. Loved the ziplock bag and foil dispenser!!Check in and Check out was so easy. So many amenities, everyone found something to enjoy!We would definitely go back.

Best. Family. Vacation. Ever. (And We Still Like Each Other!)

We picked this rental for our first big family vacation — 15 people, 4 families, and a whole lot of opinions — based on the size and location. But what we got was so much more… and miraculously, no one wanted to go home early!Everything in the listing is spot on — for once, the pictures didn’t lie. Honestly, the only thing we would change is adding a teleportation device so we could come back faster.Wendy & Ken were absolute rockstars. Communication was a breeze, and they’ve thought of everything — like, we’re talking Mary Poppins-level prepared. You seriously never have to leave the house (which is great, because rounding up 15 people to go anywhere is basically herding cats).The kids (and the dads, let’s be honest) were obsessed with all the water toys, and the men turned into BBQ chefs overnight thanks to all the outdoor cooking gear. Pretty sure we saw one of them cry tears of joy over a smoker. (Just kidding…or am I?)We had such a blast, we rebooked before we left. Next year, we’re staying longer and possibly applying for squatter’s rights. Sorry, we love it too much.Bottom line: if you’re considering renting from Wendy & Ken, DO IT. Just don’t take our week next year. We’ve claimed it. It’s ours now.

5 star experience

My family totally loved the experience in this lake home. The lake is a gem. I didn’t know what to expect, honestly. But it was a really nice, beautiful lake. Shockingly, boat traffic was light! On a major peak holiday—hard to believe! So that was a big plus. The pontoon boat was a real joy. (We brought a tube that was easy to attach to the boat…this was tons of fun). The dock area was a fun, play area to swim, play with floaties, fish, etc. My grandkids were ages 15-10. All had a blast! The home itself was big enough that all 12 of us were comfortable. The lower level had a big TV room, play room, and games galore that all enjoyed. The home is fully equipped with everything plus that would need. The owners are great communicators and you can tell they care about the quality and safety about their guests experience. There is a huge deck where we ate together, and a separate area for grilling that is outstanding. We would rate the whole experience and amenities an A. The home itself is a C—functional and clean. Do we wish we had a king bed , bigger bathrooms, less carpet, and no bridge traffic about 1/4 mile away, Yes. Bottom line: All my family members from 10 years old to 69, rated it 5 stars!

Exceptional 5 day stay!

We had family from Iowa, Michigan, and Amsterdam and it was a great 5 day stay! Tons of memories were made. The house was fabulous and had room for kids to play (amenties were great) and for one to sit quiet and read (plenty of rooms). The dock and outide areas were amazing. We loved the covered dock and decks were where we spent most of our time. The kids (3-9 and 35-87) enjoyed the lilly pad, paddle board, and the covered boat dock for our personal boat. Alot of time was spent on the water. They also loved the comfy beds. (Plenty for everyone). I heard many times that this house was the best that we have rented and that they want to so it again next year again! Thankyou so much to the host, who were rel easy to work with and answering all questions! It was a great way to spend five day with our whole family!

Family Reunion

Our 2nd Annual. Cousins loved the venue/lake/Devon so much they want to keep coming back every year. Wendy & Ken are such great hosts. They make it easy and have worked hard to anticipate any need. I'd give them more than 5 starts if I could!

Great indoor and outdoor entertainment for most ages. A few cosmetic updates needed.

5 days, 14 people ranging in age from 3 to 64. The space was perfect. Some cosmetic refreshing needed with peeling paint on some ceilings. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. Plenty of space to spread out or come together. Fully stocked other than food. Best vacation we have ever had.

Family trip

It was a great space to meet up with our 3 kids and their families, all from different states! Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and hang out spaces for everyone. Loved the large dining room table with plenty of seats and the out door eating area was amazing too. Delighted by the welcome bag and all the toiletries provided. Really had a great time down at the lake and in the hot tub. We enjoyed the games and just being together. Thanks!

Great place for large family

We had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for our family group of 13 people ages 15. Great space for an active family to gather inside and out to play cards, pool, darts, corn hole, and paddleboard. Nice to enjoy the beautiful weather on the deck and cooking/eating in the outdoor kitchen. Quick response from host on questions. Hope to return for our next son's graduation.

Christmas on the lake

We love spending time on the water, fishing, boating, skiing and tubing. We also love BBQ and relaxing outdoors. We love to spend time with our family and friends and encourage others to do the same.
