Excellent fishing

Loved the Lake

We had a great relaxing time at the lodge. We a lot and caught 12 bass in the second day. The only complaint we have is it was pretty warm in the evening even with the ceiling fans on and the other fan in the bedroom. Other than that we had a wonderful stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Until next time

Mini vacation to stay while playing ball in surrounding areas.

The view is amazing. The inside was just as shown. The pull out bed was not to comfortable as it was falling in a tad. They had everything stocked and plenty of towels. They answered anytime I messaged. It was pretty hot in the master bedroom with all airs going kinda wish the window unit was in master bedroom. Other that the lake was awesome and very relaxing would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great place to stay

Clean, lovely property. Boat rental was inexpensive and appreciated. We loved being right on the water and a brief visit from Diesel, the local patrol dog, was delightful.

Cozy & Comfortable

Check in was a breeze. We were greeted by a snack basket when we walked in the door and the kids couldn't wait to pop the popcorn and relax after our travel. The weather outside never got over 32 degrees for our entire stay so we weren't able to take advantage of the lake and boat, but the cabin was cozy and never had any issues with pipes freezing or anything like that even when the temperature dipped down to 9 degrees. Thanks for the great stay!

Home away from home

My family and I came into town for my little brother's graduation from Texas A&M. The house was the perfect, cozy home for us to rest in. And the property manager was soooo nice and accommodating. It is greatly appreciated!

Quiet-Small-Clean-Comfortable

This small place is just like shown. We checked in for an overnight, and the checkin process was flawless. The main bed was very comfortable, and my sons said the bunkbeds were too. Can't say the same for the pull out couch, but those things are never comfortable. We immediately started catching fish, and continued too into the night. No record catches, but the boys loved it. Overall the place was very nice, with the only complaint being very weak water pressure in the bathroom, and the main bedroom wasn't as cool as the rest of the house. I spoke with the owner, and he plans to address the water issue. Excellent communication with the owner, and he was very responsive. Outside the water pressure, I'd definitely stay there again, and I'd recommend to friends. Still giving it 5 stars, because I as able to get a good night sleep, and although it took a little longer to rinse off in the shower, it worked. Thanks again to the owner, and keep up the good work.

Can’t wait to go back

We absolutely loved staying here! The fishing was amazing! The kids loved going out on the Jon Boat to fish. The house was very clean and the queen bed was very comfortable. If you’re looking for a little get away and you love the outdoors I would definitely recommend staying here. We can’t wait to plan another trip to stay here.

Perfect

My wife and I were in Commerce for a wedding and wanted a place in Commerce to stay for the weekend. Found this little gem and couldnt be happier. It was clean and cozy. Welcome snacks and bottled water. Very easy check in and out instructions. Host was excellent at communication. If going to Commerce again, we will definitely be booking here.

We had a lovely time!

We were there over New Year's weekend, had a lovely time. Near Commerce, where there is a Walmart and a Brookshires and lots of eating places. Had a fire in the firepit each night, made s'mores, really nice. Just a note, you do need to bring your own drinking water. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice property!

This was a nice property! (We had trouble finding the turn off in the dark though!) It was nice to wake up to the pretty water view and sit on the front porch to drink our coffee. We had a tiny issue while we were there and James responded very promptly with a solution to take care of it.
