Perched above the Pacific Ocean, The Coastal Jewel has commanding views to mesmerize you in a serene and beautiful environment. This home is perfectly located just steps to a pristine sandy beach and close to the popular off-shore rock formations of Seal Rock. The Coastal Jewel offers an open great room concept with an ocean front deck that invites refreshing breezes and a fantastic place to relax and watch the ocean waves. This home is in a quiet, private neighborhood and is a great romantic or couple's retreat!

In the master bedroom, you can luxuriate in comfort and appreciate the fantastic views, access to the deck, a small sitting area where you can relax and meditate as well as enjoy your own large bath with a soaking tub and walk in shower. The second bedroom is both cozy and comfy and has use of the hall bathroom. The well-stocked kitchen, comfortable counter stools and a beautiful dining table is super for entertaining and making memories together. The garage is set up as a game room for a nightly match up of foosball or airhockey on evenings home or during stormy days.

There are great tide pools nearby to the south towards Seal Rock State Recreation Area. Bring your kayaks and standup paddleboards because this home is a short 2-minute drive north to Brian Booth State Park and the gorgeous Beaver Creek area, popular for paddle sports and wildlife viewing. Seal Rock is just a short drive to Newport where you can visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium, walk along a working bay front and enjoy fresh seafood either cooked to perfection onsite or bought off of a boat for you to prepare at home. While in Newport, hop over to historic Nye Beach for additional shopping and restaurant enjoyment!

Vehicles: Licensed for 2 (Strictly enforced)
Standard: 2 night minimum Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

My wife and I had a great time! The weather was absolutely terrible but we very much enjoyed being trapped in the home so to speak. We watched a few movies, did a puzzle, read a couple books, just overall disconnected from normal life. The house had every appliance or dish in the kitchen you could ever need, decent furniture that wasnt worn down or dirty. Modern amenities including an awesome large shower and bathtub in the master. The view of the beach/ ocean was amazing, especially sitting near the fireplace during a crazy storm. Nice private location, quiet end of the road nestled in the trees feel while still being just a few minutes drive from Newport. There was quit a few fruit flies in the home during our stay and it looked like the housekeepers might not have swept very well if at all after the last guests but it didnt effect our enjoyment of the vacation at all. We will definitely return in the future!

Exhale again and again

My son and I take an adventure trip together each year and after his first year of middle school, we needed a calming adventure. This property did the trick! With such easy access to the beach and the constant sounds and views of the water, we were hooked! I appreciated the ability to cook with quality appliances after buying fresh seafood in town. Walking along the quiet beach to find shells and count sea stars the size of our hands was another highlight. We had everything we needed and received quick responses when we had questions!

Amazing place and amazing location. We could hardly leave to go eat or shop or other activities as the comfort level, feeling of isolation and peace was a huge force holding us in place. this was definitely one of the top two places we have stayed and we will look to make this a trip location in the future. Amazing 2nd stay!

Love this place. It’s clean and the view is amazing. The master bed is uncomfortable but everything else makes up for it. FYI. I’m allergic to feathers and down so we moved the feather art above the master bed to the other room while we were there and put it back before we left. Easy peasy.

Awesome views, great location

Stayed for 3 nights to do some whale watching and check out the coast. Walking the beach in the morning with coffee was great, found some interesting little forested areas off the beach that were really fascinating. Beautiful house and surroundings.

Stunning views and a beautiful home with all the amenities is exactly what this home had. Everything was centered around the amazing ocean views including the master bedroom and bath, just as stated on line. We rent alot of homes and cabins all over the USA and this one was top notch all the way. We will definitely be coming back.

Extremely clean lovely property!

Stayed in this property many years ago so the renovations made since then were great! The views were exactly as described and home was very comfortable! The beach access was a little difficult for the grandparents but doable with an abundance of caution! Thanks for sharing this lovely property!

Total Relaxation

Gorgeous Home

We stayed three nights in the midst of a storm and ice and a power outage and it was still an amazing home to stay in. Just cuddled into blankets and watched the ocean roll. 10 out 10, would stay here over and over again.
