This Charming Comfy log sided getaway in a peaceful setting with creek is located in Fleetwood, NC between Boone and West Jefferson( in about 15-20 minutes!) and the Blue Ridge Parkway, you will feel like you are in a tree house, but with all the comforts of home. While the cabin setting will surround you with trees and mountain wildlife, our state-maintained gravel.

★ The Area ★

The surrounding area offers activities on the New River, catch & release fishing, hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway, golf at a fantastic & affordable public course and agri-tourism farms where you can see where baby Christmas trees are grown and where apples, pumpkins, honey and more are farmed by local experts.

★ The space ★

Enjoy beautiful hardwood floors throughout the upper level, which holds the kitchen, dining room, living room and a half bath. From there, step out onto the large deck that runs the length of the house, where you can cook out on the full-size, propane grill or just sit and soak in the view of one of the ridges that mark the Eastern Continental Divide. It’s a great spot to listen to the creek that literally springs out of the ground just a few hundred feet up the mountain. But fair warning, the birds that visit the feeder may join you and you may even have a few squirrel or chipmunk visitors, too!

Downstairs you can retire to the two cozy bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed with large storage drawers underneath. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full-size mattress on the bottom and a twin-size mattress on top. The full bath has a tub/shower combo and is convenient to both of the bedrooms. We provide fresh bed linens, pillows, towels, blankets, dishes, pots/pans and lots more to make you visit as comfortable as we can.

Our house has one security camera only be used for security purposes and located outside on the upstairs level(in front) and coverage the driveway.

Please Note: Our house has two stories. Guests must be able to climb up & down stairs during their stay. If you have young children, you should be vigilant as to where they are both inside and outside the home (we have non-carpeted stairs, slippery rocks, creeks and steep hillsides).

★ ACCESS TO THE CABIN ★

Access to the cabin is easy, but when it snows you will need a 4WD/AWD vehicle.

★ COVID-19 SANITIZATION ★

Heath, safety, and wellbeing of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
