Experience small town living in a spacious duplex!

This charming two-story duplex is the perfect place to stay during your visit to Lewisburg. Conveniently located one mile from Bucknell and walking distance to Market Street, where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants and bars. Enjoy your coffee or tea on the patio. Spend time at the local farmer's market and cook a delicious meal in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Take a walk or bike-ride on the rail trail. Perfect for couples or young families.

Located on a quiet residential street in downtown Lewisburg the duplex has two bedrooms and two and half bathrooms. The first floor has a spacious kitchen with everything you need if you would like to dine in, as well as a comfortable couch and sitting area to enjoy Netflix on the TV. You can choose to eat in the dining room or during summer season outside on the patio.

The upper level of the duplex includes a master bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed and a television, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The second bedroom includes a trundle bed to sleep an additional one or two guests. A full bathroom and laundry are also located on the second floor.

The duplex is a historic home with lots of character, but guests should note that the stairs are steep going up to the second floor. Please keep that in mind if accessibility is an issue. Also, as shown in photos, guests will walk through the master bedroom to access the second bedroom and bathroom.

Great place to stay in Lewisburg!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The place is spacious and comfortable and was extremely clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and the owners even left a bottle of local wine and chocolates from Purity Candy! The owners were very communicative and accommodated us for an early check in. Bed was comfortable and there were lots of fresh towels provided. There is also in unit laundry which is very handy. The location is also great, just a few short blocks to Market Street. Highly recommended!

We were in Lewisburg for a 3 day quilting event and were very pleased with the property. It met our needs perfectly. It is in a great location with off-street parking. The house is quite spacious, well equipped and in a pleasant setting. Beds were comfortable and heating/cooling kept the house comfortable. Definitely recommend a stay there and we would chose to stay there again.

The house was very nice and cutely decorated. The fireplace in the livingroom was a nice addition. Coffee and tea supplies were in the kitchen, it was nice having everything right there. The only problem was a lack of lighting when parking in the back and accessing the back door.

Only thing I wanted...

was longer time to spend! Everything was wonderful and had everything we needed for an adult couple and our teen. Only caution is that the staircase is not for the wobbly (I would not have my 80 yo mom stay there with us). We will definitely stay again. Perfect for visiting my teen at college and we hung out in the living room with her to visit. Thanks so much!

Perfect place in downtown Lewisburg

I was here for about three weeks prior to my daughters graduation from Bucknell. Great location just to walk to town. My daughter and her friends enjoyed coming over and sitting in the backyard and getting some sun. Very clean and cute place. Great amenities. Bed was very comfortable. Great upgrades. Really cute. I would recommend to any Bucknell family. Kerry was extremely responsive to you any questions I had. Great hosts.

Just steps away from Market Street, less than 5 minute drive to Bucknell

Perfect place to stay for a visit to Bucknell and interest to explore the charm of the town of Lewisburg. Owners were proactively communicative, made check in easier than any prior house share experience, and just made us feel welcomed overall. Space to park off street and enter property through the back yard. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well- stocked. My only reluctance to write a review is not having the property available the next time I'm in town!

Immerse yourself in the neighborhood

What a fantastic place to stay if you are looking to get a feel for life in Lewisburg/Bucknell. The house is located in an area surrounded by professors' houses. People were very friendly and told us many interesting things about the area. It is walkable to many places so you can leave your car and wander. The house itself is quirky and cozy and has all the delights of a vintage home. The hosts welcomed us with local treats and coffee fixings and a well stocked kitchen with a stand mixer, blender, and even spices. The off street parking in the alley behind was really convenient and a great place to park the behemoth SUV we had rented.

Perfect for Bucknell Visit!

We wish we found this place earlier in our daughter’s Bucknell experience (she graduating this spring). The place was cozy but had plenty of space, clean, nicely decorated and close to town and the University. The host checked in with us when we got there and left us a bottle of wine, chocolate covered pretzels and fully stocked coffee station (with a small container of milk in the fridge, which honestly made my day)! The bed was comfy and linens were soft yet crisp. As noted in the description, access to the second room is through the main bedroom, but that wasn’t a problem for us because it was just me and my husband, and my daughter hung out with us but slept in her apartment. The kitchen was fully stocked and we had everything we needed to cook and help her meal prep for the week as well as eat in. Wonderful experience and SO much better than a visit staying at a hotel. I highly recommend.

Lewisburg is a beautiful small, historic town with great restaurants and shopping as well as home to Bucknell University where you can enjoy a basketball game or a show at the Weis Center for Performing arts. Close by there is the Lewisburg Farmer's Market, the Buffallo Valley Rail Trail, terrific hiking, as well as water sports along the Susquehanna river.
