Walking shoes packed? Good, because Brechtse Heide is around the corner. With 305 spacious, green pitches, some wonderfully shaded, the campsite is surrounded by forests, heaths and the canal. Perfect for hiking, cycling or simply enjoying the view.



Children's playground

What about the kids? Don't worry, they draw their own plan into one of the Playgrounds, it spray park or by the animation team. In the summer months everything is organized. You don't see them until you call them for dinner.

In summer you splash in the outdoor pool Or play with the kids in the spray park. Sports enthusiasts can visit the multisports area (football, tennis, volleyball), at the ping-pong tables or on the pétanque court. There will also be plenty of entertainment for adults. Antwerp The city is only a fifteen minute drive (car bus) or half an hour cycling. Shopping, burgundy dining, the Antwerp Zoo and famous museums (MAS, Rubenshuis, Het Steen, the Diamond Museum, Fashion Museum). In the town of Rubens, you never get tired.

Walking and cycling An extensive cycling and walking network starts directly from the campsite. Discover the Waterway Route on safe cycling paths along the canals. Step occasionally in front of a terrace, or tap some power for your e-bike. On the way you will find several charging points.

Mountain biking Aren't you afraid of a few jumping tree roots on your bike path? Campsite Floreal Het Veen is the starting point of a challenging mountain bike trail. Bounce to the heart's content through the woods

Kalmthoutse Heide Eem beautiful patch nature where you can cycle and walk for hours. Take a look at the beekeeping museum.

Pakawi Park (Olmense Zoo) - A friendly zoo where you meet hairy, scaly and venerable residents from all over the world. Good for the kids.

Breda Day trip to the Netherlands? This cozy Brabant town is only 40 kilometers from the campsite.



Good to know

Camping Floreal The Veen is open all year round. Arrival usually in the afternoon, departure in the morning. Some facilities (such as swimming pool and spray park) are seasonal and depend on the weather. Barbecuing is allowed, if safe and by the rules.
