Great for the price and location

It’s like being in a house and you can hear others when they are being loud especially on 2nd floor, near common area, but fun if you like to be social with other guests. We had a nice stay. Building is a bit older so has its rustic feel and signs of age in certain areas. Overall, based on location, convenience and price we would stay again.

Rooms say 1st level, but really are in basement and have seen better days. Couch was broken in one room. No window shade in other. Description wasn't really clear that this is one suite of 10 or so rooms in building. Can hear people in room directly. above.

Convenient and clean location

This location is within walking distance to downtown Ellicottville and very close to the ski resort. The rooms are clean and affordable with additional amenities in the common area of the lodge.

Great spot!

First time staying at this location and will definitely stay again. We wanted something convenient and roomy for our family but not pay a fortune. Great space and never felt cramped. Location is very close to town and walkable!

It was clean and comfortable. Bigger than i expected. Close to town and amenities like grocery store within walking distance when it's not so cold and snowy. Cute town! Lots of shops and restaurants to visit. We would stay again. Thanks Jess!

Excellent location

Excellent location and was simple enough that I’d stay there again. Took my fiancé and kids to ski. Within walking distance to Ellicottville, which is a ski town with shops and restaurants that are fantastic. Was able to use the kitchen to save on a couple meals. Kids had a great time minus the weather.

Nice place, clean but we were expecting a full kitchen with stove/oven. You could easily hear people in the adjacent rooms and the beds were a little soft. Easy check in/communication.

I stayed here with the prior owner. I love seeing the changes that have been made. A few things that would be nice is bar soaps in the rooms with the sinks, cups, a garbage can for each room. Host was wonderful address all my questions and concerns immediately. Will definitely stay again

We were very disappointed with our stay, as the listing was extremely misleading. It never indicated that the building had 10 suites or that the kitchen and living room were shared by all units. The kitchen photo was unclear, and the space only included a small fridge and microwave. The listing also falsely claimed ski‑in/ski‑out access and lift privileges.Security was a concern as the main building door did not lock. Inside our unit, there was no toilet paper or holder, the beds were not queen‑sized as advertised, and one bed was dangerously unstable—supported by paint cans. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut, which was frustrating and uncomfortable.Several amenities were unusable. The electric kettle was rusted and dirty with debris inside, and the provided creamer was spoiled. The microwave worked, but given the overall lack of cleanliness, we didn’t feel confident using other items.The room itself was poorly cleaned. We found dried contact lenses stuck to surfaces, along with food, tissues, rubber bands, and other trash.Overall, the property did not match the listing in safety, cleanliness, amenities, or accuracy. We will not be staying here again.
