Welcome to The Hedge Haus! This spectacular, Lakefront, Two Bedroom, Two Bath Condo is the perfect getaway! Off of Horseshoe Bend, HH at MM 14, you can relax at the Lakeside Swimming Pool or enjoy the view of the Lake from your screened in balcony. Minutes from the Bagnell Dam Strip, Golf Course, Shopping, Dining & Entertainment.

To approve your booking and stay, please make sure that you meet the following criteria: 

1) Verified guest photo profile with Government Id & profile information.

2) Brief information on your stay & guests.
3) What brings you to the neighborhood & what are your expectations.
4) Must be 25 years old to book this listing.
5) Must have a positive review or reviews with prior Vrbo hosts for reference.
6) No parties, no smoking, no drugs. No underage drinking. **Guests are NOT allowed to host large gatherings or parties. Guests will be charged a fee for not following all house rules and any extra cleaning services for property abuse. Violators will be reported to Vrbo and if any issues during the stay, the police will immediately be contacted.
7) No animals whatsoever due to severe allergies of owner.

Slips are available for watercraft rental based on availability. Dock access is not available unless you are renting a slip. Please note that there is not a boat ramp onsite and trailer parking is prohibited. There is a free drop in at the Public Boat Launch on Bluebird. Trailers can be stored at Grand Glaze Marina - PB2 with or without slip rental.

For use of watercraft without slip or fishing and swimming in lake, you must go to Public Access Beach.

**Note: HOA has a strict policy for parking. No RV’s or Trailers are allowed in the parking lot & are subject to towing at the owner's expense.

No Smoking or pets allowed.

The host was very accommodating and had an open line of communication to make the stay smooth. This is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. It was reasonably priced for the area and I would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay. The Hedge Haus was a cutely decorated, well-appointed and clean condo. Would definitely stay again. Jennifer (the owner) was very responsive to a couple of questions we had during our stay. Worth the visit!

Best hostess ever!

The property description was so accurate. Place was very well stocked and clean. Great location, pretty private. The area is very nice. But Omg our hostess- she was so nice. Very accommodating and friendly. I think the best we’ve ever had! The lake is very much a boating lake but still very nice.

You have to have an app to get into the home, when we walked in dirt was on the kitchen floor and trash was behind the dead animal sanctuary and plaque displayed below the TV. Automatically the vibes were off. The host messaged us for an hour and a half the next day trying to convince us that there were bad storms and asked multiple times about property damage to the roof and pool. After I told her three separate times that we were not there and there was no damage to the home, she insisted that I understand how severe the storms were (prior to our check-in) by sending me Facebook weather updates. The fourth time that I updated her that we were totally fine, she realized that she was being a burden and tried to backtrack. By that point we had already parked the boat to prove to her through photos that there was no damage to the home. Host would not stop texting us prior to that. At one point I blocked her phone number but the messages were still coming through my watch even though it was on Do Not Disturb. We finally gave up on enjoying the day on the water due to her, and parked the boat and came inside where we tried to cook. Immediately upon opening one of the drawers, we saw a spatula caked in dirty food. When I told the host how inconvenient her incessant texting she finally apologized but by that point we were already packing up to leave early. She offered us to stay an extra night but it was going to storm that night so we left as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. Providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay is very important to me, which is reflected in the many five-star reviews I’ve received over the years. I’d like to clarify a few points for future guests. The home can be accessed using either the provided door code or the optional app; use of the app is not required. The home is professionally cleaned before every guest’s arrival, and many of my five-star reviews specifically mention the cleanliness of the property. The cleanliness concerns mentioned in this review were not brought to my attention until well after check-in. Had I been made aware sooner, I would have been happy to address them promptly. Regarding the communication after the storms, a tornado and severe weather had moved through the area prior to the guest’s arrival. At the time, I had been informed that some of the condo roofs on the property may have sustained storm damage and that the community pool had experienced minor damage. As a host, I felt it was my responsibility to make guests aware of potential safety concerns that could affect their stay and to ensure they had the information they needed following the storm. My communication was intended solely to make sure their stay was not impacted and that they were safe. I sincerely apologize if my concern came across as excessive. Although we have different perspectives on this stay, I appreciate the feedback and wish the guest all the best.

This property was perfect! Beautiful scenery, serene cove of the lake, great outdoor facilities (the pool was my favorite!), the condo itself was clean, cozy, and offered lots of space for relaxation. The balcony/patio area is a 10/10!! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Best Condo Ever!!

Everything about this condo is warm and welcoming. Adorable decor and we loved all the hedgehogs. Jen provides lots of extras including trash bags, dishwasher detergent, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The coffee bar was a favorite. Amazing location, deck and view. The pool even had a great view! We loved relaxing on the deck couch and eating meals on the deck table. Jen was amazing to work with and we had a very easy check-in. This will be first on my list when returning to the Lake of the Ozarks!

Hedge Haus for the Win

We can not say enough great things about our experience. Condo is in prime location with amazing views of lake from the sofa and table on the screened patio with a ceiling fan and smart TV. It is beautifully decorated with everything you will need; beach towels, bedding,, comfy beds, extra blankets, hangers, pillows, & more. It even has a first aid kit, bar soap, bathroom spray, handsoap, q-tips, washer pods, paper towels, seran wrap, and ziplocks. Jennifer thought of everything to make our stay exceptional. If anyone in your group has mobility issues, it is not your condo choice, as there are several short flights of concrete steps to navigate since no elevator. We plan to stay here again on future visits to Lake of the Ozarks.

Hedge Haus exceeded our expectations! The home was beautifully decorated (loved the Hedgehog theme), exceptionally clean, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. From extra toiletries to a fully stocked kitchen, every detail was covered.The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. We especially loved the spacious layout, with multiple seating areas, comfortable bedrooms, flexible sleeping arrangements, and plenty of bathrooms. Great pool area! It made out stay relaxing and stress-free.Jennifer was a fantastic host--responsive, welcoming, and attentive to every need.I highly recommend staying at Hedge Haus, and I know my family will definitely be back.

The amenities made us feel right at home!!

Loved the amenities and thoughtfulness in this home. Extra bonus was counting how many hedgehog items we could find. We are excited to return next year. Only wish we wouldn’t have been go go go so we could’ve enjoyed it more.
