Nice Stay for Wedding

We had 8 adults stay to attend a local wedding in Oregon City. The home was clean and the owner was responsive. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen only had service for 6 so made it a little challenging come coffee time in the morning. We were short on hand towels and wash clothes. The bath towels could use a refresh as they were fairly worn out. The location is a little less polished than we are used to but it was safe. The backyard was very large and offered great privacy. Super easy check in and out process which was a breeze!

Stay was just OK

Let's start with the positives: nice layout of home having split bedroom design and nice gather space in center of home. Nice large, fenced backyard and covered patio. Home was in good location for a wedding we attended nearby. Some aspects that were disappointing were the condition of the kitchen area was a bit worn (peeling paint on cupboards), couch smelled like cat urine, dirt and food on kitchen floor when we arrived, noisy indoor A/C units (portable, not central A/C), and the humming, static noise from the high voltage power lines behind the property made it challenging to enjoy the backyard. A guest in our group had an unfortunate, small spill (2 tiny spots) on the kitchen table that didn't come out. We immediately notified the property owner and offered to fix the spots during our stay which they did not accept. The end result completely ruined our trip as the owner charged us over $1,000 to replace the table even though it was a small area of the table and the table was obviously worn. In all my 15 years using VRBO I have never experienced something like this from an owner. My family did the right thing by owning up to the accident, however I feel we were significantly taken advantage of for our honesty.

Great rental. Large fenced yard

House has everything you need to be comfortable. We loved the comfort of the sectional in the living room with the large TV that was easy to operate. Layout was perfect. It was nice having everything on one level. Kitchen stocked well enough to have everything you need to cook the basics. Beds were comfortable. The portable air conditioner units and the window were a bit noisy, but they were very efficient keeping the house cool Our dog enjoyed the backyard. Minutes to town and a park that has picnic tables and a dog park in it. Property owner was very responsive and easy to talk to from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Week in OC for a wedding

Overall stay was good, location was perfect for what we needed. Close to freeway and close to Canby where the wedding was we were attending. Great proximity to the grocery store as well. Wish the house was more well stocked. Had to buy more toilet paper, and spices and ziplock bags because there was no Tupperware to store leftover food from dinner. Host was very responsive. Backyard area was great for hanging out with our family. Glad we brought our own cornhole and can jam.

Everything you need is supplied. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting Portland, Mount Hood, the Columbia River gorge, the waterfalls and beyond.

We were in town for a wedding, and this property was perfect for our family. It is located on a nice quiet street and had everything we needed for our time there! The house was clean and decorated nicely. Communication with the manager was prompt and easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely, fully equipped one-story property with LOTS of room!

We loved Francesca's place! The layout flows so well, the bathrooms are wonderful, and the backyard is something else. It accommodated our 6 family members perfectly. We would stay again!

This house was convenient to a family gathering we were having in nearby Oregon City. The house was roomy so even when we had three extra cousins come by for a visit the living room and fireplace area was plenty of space to fit us all comfortably.

Great place to crash afte a wedding.

We got into Portland early and after going to Costco for supplies, we contacted the owner. She was gracious and accommodating by allowing us to check in early. The house is located near enough to the highway, yet in a quiet neighborhood. We used the bbq, and kitchen for all of our meals. The pots and pans were very good and we had everything we needed. The fireplace was a nice spot to sit and read a book. The house is very relaxing and set up well. We will definitely book again.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Lined on both sides of our property the 100 foot cedar trees makes our home feel more like a forest getaway than a home in the town of Oregon City. Our huge backyard is a great place for the kids or dogs to run around while you watch from our porch and sit around the fire pit. Its a great spot for big groups or families come and stay with us in our wooded oasis
