Evelyn was a good host but needs to draw a better map as google did not work very good in Monteverde. (Worked great everywhere else). Even if it is working for you, it’s still confusing as the little access road doesn’t register on maps. The place is almost brand new and with higher end finishes. The kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfortable. The view is amazing if it’s not too cloudy.

Great view from the balcony. House was close to town. Google maps took us to a different location and took us a while to find it. The house was clean and well equipped. We appreciated Evelyn’s help in arranging a guide for us. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location!

This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the action in Monteverde. We booked it in order to be close to Selvatura park for zip lining. It has a great view and Evelyn was very communicative and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The kids loved waking to the howler monkeys in the morning and watching all of the hummingbirds on the property. Highly recommended!

We loved staying here. Beautiful view and a great place with lots of nice amenities. We would stay here again for sure. We had a little trouble finding the exact location at first but Evelyn helped us out.

We had a great stay.The host was very open.Answering our calls whenever we needed anything.The house was extremely clean and cool.Even though there was no air conditioning we never felt like we needed it. Great location. Private but close to restaurants and tons of activities. We would stay again and recommend it to anyone traveling ro the area.

Wonderful home!

My family of 4 loved this home in Monteverde. Beautiful views, nice and peaceful, lovely stay. Beds were comfy, nice hot showers, plenty of room. We especially enjoyed the balcony in the mornings watching all of the birds. Host was super quick and responsive with any questions I had. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if in the area!

This was my family’s favorite stay in Costa Rica. If we were at the house we were on the back deck. (Beautiful views) Evelyn was the best host. She was quick to answer any questions and give recommendations. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. We loved it.

Lovely Chalet With Amazing View Down the Hillside to Monteverde and the Gulf of Nicoya

We were a family of four and throughly enjoyed our three days here. Such a lovely place with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is close to town and various sites and activities, but also up the hillside enough to be peaceful and restful. Our host, Evelyn, was so great to deal with. Thank you for such a lovely and comfortable base to explore the Monteverde area.

BEAUTIFUL HOME!

Sunset house 1 is beautiful! It has all the comforts of home and is in a great location! The downtown and adventure tours are very close by. Evelyn is very friendly and extremely helpful with advice about local attractions and culture. The farm tour down the street (milking cows) was very interesting. We would highly recommend staying here. It was a highlight of our trip!!

Rain, rain go away

The house is spotless, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. Our host Evelyn met us shortly after we arrived and gave us so much helpful info about the area and activities we could enjoy during our stay. The view of the bay is lovely.

Amazing Stay!

The Sun House was perfect for our family of 4! So close to town, but yet tucked away to where you feel like you’re in your own little paradise. The views were amazing! Evelyn and her husband were wonderful! Would recommend this house in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Monteverde, look no further. This is a beautiful home located near town that offers so much. The house was incredibly clean and offered lots of space for our house. Sitting on the patio looking out on the forest never gets old. This property is unique in all ways you can imagine. It is spacious, it has one of the best views to the Gulf of Nicoya. It is very private, you will have the house for yourself and your group. Finally, you will have the chance to recharge your energy for your next adventure.
Monteverde is an incredible place to enjoy nature. It offers the opportunity to take long hikes, go zip lining or walk the majestic hanging bridges. If you prefer to stay in our home and read a book and enjoy the sunset that is a great plan too. We hope you enjoy the beauty of Monteverde.
