Great family vacation home right on the Oneida Lake.
Welcome to George’s Lakeside retreat. Our four bedroom, three bathroom lake front home is your perfect summer getaway. There are plenty of new memories to be made for you, your friends, and family at our lakeside retreat. Nestled on the banks of the south shore of Oneida Lake, it’s a Fishermans paradise. Park your boat at our large dock in the backyard, and be at your favorite fishing hole in minutes.
Our home is 2 1/2 miles away from Oneida Shores County Park. There you will have a boat launch, a beautiful sandy beach with lifeguards, camping, children’s playground, and the perfect spot for large family gatherings. We are right across from the Brewerton Fire Department II and minutes away from downtown Brewerton for all your shopping needs.
Our fully furnished kitchen has everything you need to create your masterpiece. Our bedrooms are so comfy with new linens. The bathrooms are fully furnished with plenty of towels and plenty of hot water. Our back deck is huge. It’s a perfect place for barbecues, and to share stories after a great day on the water about “the one that got away”.
We have ample parking with a nice size driveway and a parking lot across the street for your boat. We are 10 miles from Syracuse, Destiny USA, Lakeview Amphitheater, New York State fairgrounds and all the cool restaurants and attractions of downtown. We are 3 miles from Highway 81. If your special someone is graduating from Syracuse, or one of the other higher education institutes close by, surprise them with a graduation present they’ll never forget!
Starting July 1 we will be renting our home by the month. We are hoping to get one group for the month of July and August. If not, we will be able to rent July 1 to the 31st and August 1 to August 31. Otherwise, starting May 1, the house will be available to rent Thursday to Monday until June 30, 2022.

This is my families house and was originally purchased as a summer/retirement home by my parents. This house has seen many children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren grow and play. It has been the host to many reunions, parties and even weddings.
Most recently I have been living here and working as a teacher at the local high school. I plan to continue to live here, but look forward to travelling and visiting family at locations across the country and would like to see others enjoy this home as much as I have.

The location of this house is perfect for convenience to all you will need. It is in a quiet, welcoming neighborhood and is perfect for families. There are many day trips that are nearby and also some local attractions to keep everyone busy. Fishing is right outside your door and boat launches are within a mile of the home if you are bringing along a boat. The city of Syracuse is 15 minutes away and there is much to do downtown. There is the largest indoor shopping mall in NY in Syracuse, several museums downtown, breweries, restaurants and a zoo to mention just a few things. Just a few hours away is Niagara Falls, Saratoga Race Course, 2 Casinos, Corning Museum of Glass, Alexandria Bay and the Finger Lakes Wineries.
The home is large enough for big families, two families or 3 couples. There are 4 bedrooms (3 bedrooms will be available in May and June) and 3 full bathrooms (2 bathrooms will be available in May and June). The kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities for prepping food and entertaining. The outdoor space is large and has beautiful lake views. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening. There is plenty of parking available in the driveway and across the street in the garage driveway.
