Welcome to the Creekside, our newly built cabin on White Bird Creek

Welcome to our rural Idaho town, with big western hospitality. Stay and relax, in our newly built cabin on White Bird Creek, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a spacious gathering area. We are located two miles form the "River of No Return", the Salmon River, and the Gateway to Hells Canyon on the Snake River. Enjoy the thrill of a jet boat trip on the scenic River. We are walking distance to restaurants, friendly taverns, a country store, antique shop, fishing outfitter, shuttle service, and churches. Come and enjoy a bit of friendly small town " Old West" Idaho.

The house was clean and cute. The only bummer for us older folks was going up the spiral stairs! we loved the creek and sitting area.

The cabin was beautiful inside and out. It had everything you could need and then some. Outdoor seating was wonderful down by the creek. Would for sure stay here again. Wonderful Hosts!!

Peaceful place

This is a great place to stay in White Bird as it has a small river running next to the property, the place is comfortable and the host (Barbara) is very responsive to any requests or questions. Thanks for being such great hosts!

Home away from home!

We were in the area for our daughter's wedding. When we travel we like to stay in a home rather than a hotel. It is always a good choice. This home was beautifully equipped. In a lovely location. White bird is a charming little town.

Perfect Location for Hammer Down Jet Boat Tour

Creekside was perfect for our weekend stay in White Bird. We scheduled a Jet Boat tour with Hammer Down (which I highly recommend) and the house was a 2 minute walk to their office (which also serves wonderful fancy coffees, breakfast pastries, a wide selection of beer and wine, and charcuterie!) Barbara was an incredible host, providing so many amazing extras at the house - a bottle of wine, snacks, coffee, tea, bathrobes, and fancy soaps). Tthe outdoor area was wonderful. Set on a babbling creek we had multipe areas to sit and enjoy the view, incuding a gas fireplace and a wood firepit. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and new. The decor was wonderful, modern farmhouse with great historic art work and books about the area. The showers were a bit on the small side but were fine for us. The downstairs bedroom is fully private, but the 2 upstairs bedrooms, accessed by a spiral staircase, are on either side of the loft - there is still some privacy but no doors. It was perfect for the 4 of us (2 couples) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Barbara!

Amazing creek side retreat!

The cabin was amazing, well laid out, and plenty of room for 6 people. Only complaint was the spiral stair case. Shorter ladies kept banging their head if they weren't being careful. Creekside lounge areas were the highlight. Tranquil, shaded, and comfy with the propane fire. Hosts were top notch, friendly, and informative about the local attractions and vendors. Very accommodating and friendly as can be. We would 100% love to revisit!

Heaven close to Hell's Canyon

Peaceful retreat

Beautiful place to stay. We didnt even go in when we first arrived, the outside is amazing! There is comfortable seating with a gas fire right off the creek that had to be enjoyed before even uloading the car! Going inside did not disappoint. The house has everything you need plus extras like board games and robes. The owners are warm and welcoming.

Upon arrival, the cabin is so adorable , environment was incredible. We had a very wonderful time. This property couldn’t have been more perfect for us. We brought our two large dogs and they they also had a wonderful time.

Quick, Quiet, Quality!

We booked a last-minute fishing trip and need somewhere to stay. This fit all our needs and was just down from the fishing guide business. It was very reasonably priced and was in excellent condition. The host couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Wonderful accommodations. Thank you, Barbara, we appreciate your putting up with us.

Explored Joseph Plains and Salmon River Confluence

Awesome place. The 6 of s that stayed there were all over 70 years of age and the spiral staircase was difficult to handle . An upstairs bathroom would have been a godsend ! Wonderful property with great property managers. Great creek side seating for happy hour . It was a great get away .

Peaceful getaway

It was a comfy and relatively new vacation rental. Appliances and furniture in great shape. Clean with all the basics you need. The only negative is the circular stairs to the sleeping lot where all but one bed is located might be a problem for some. It worked out fine for us however. The flowing creek right outside the door was a wonderful plus.

Beautiful Place

This was a beautiful place and was very comfortable for 4 of us. Brian and Barbara were so wonderful to work with. We spent the evenings by the creek drinking our wine and relaxing. I would highly recommend this house. You will not be disappointed

Beautiful home right on the creek

This is a very nice home right on the creek. Love hearing the water and the outside patio by the creek. Barbara is very friendly and checked with us on arrival. The home is clean and beautifully decorated. Appreciated the homemade soaps and bathrobes. Will definitely stay again.

Clean and comfortable base camp

Barbara has done a great job with her attention to detail preparing this small house for guests. The living space is small for a larger group (we had 6), but plenty of sleeping space. Kitchen is also small, but very well stocked. Everything is in great shape and very clean, we felt like the first guests even after about 8 months of rentals. Outdoor space is also great, with a creek side deck and fire pit.
