Destin Pointe Resort is located at the point of the prestigious Holiday Isle between the Gulf of Mexico and the Destin Harbor. This home has it all- Location, pool, minutes to harbor walk, private beach! Beautiful direct lake view
This furnished home is ready to host you, your family and friends! This home is located in the secluded area Holiday at Destin Pointe. All the amenities you need without the crowds.
Punta VistaMare is in a private gated community and just a short stroll to the private beach. The home has four bedrooms, two living areas and it's own pool and hot tub! Feel like socializing and meeting new friends then enjoy the two large pools in Destin Pointe or join in on a basketball of tennis match both on site. There are bathrooms and showers just off the beach for you use as well. This home has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation.
What's provided: All kitchen wares, all bedding, soap and shampoo, everything you need just like home! Come relax and unwind at Punta VistaMare.
The sleeping arrangements are follows.
Upper Level:
1.- Master bedroom has a king bed.
2.- Bunk bed room has two sets of twin beds.
Lower Level:
3.- A king bedrooms or two extra long twins ( please notify us prior to arrivals as to how you would like that room set up)
4.- A queen bedroom
5.- A pullout queen sofa bed in the lower family room
6.- The pool and jacuzzi ( Same water-90 degrees Fahrenheit ) can be heated upon request during the winter season. The fee is $55 per day.

We had the best stay at Punta VistaMare (PVM). We’ve been coming to Destin for 10 years with our kids and have stayed at other properties in the past. No more. PVM is beautiful, safe, well kept, comfortable and convenient. The access to pools and beach are wonderful, as are the balconies to watch the world go by. I will be happy to return to PVM.

Wonderful stay! The kitchen was extremely well stocked as we are a large family that prefers to cook rather than the long waits at restaurants. There was a small issue with the lick on the front door, but after a quick text with Jonathan it was fixed without a delay.

Our stay was wonderful! Jonathan was very accommodating with answering questions and relaying information. The pool was a major plus and the water felt great this time of year. Additionally, the chalkboard with our name on it and ambient music upon arrival really upped the experience. The property's infinity pool was lovely as well and there was always room to access pool deck chairs. The beach access was convenient and not too crowded. You can also see the fireworks from the boardwalk on the front porch! The only thing I would say is I didn't realize or see in the description that there wasn't an interior staircase to go between the downstairs and upstairs so using the outdoor entrances was a bit cumbersome.

We were able to contact Jon at anytime and he always responded and immediately resolved our questions. Would definitely stay at this property again! This gated community is located in a very quiet end of a residential area. The gate entry code wasn’t mentioned in our check-in instructions, but was the same as the door code. The Gulf beach was less crowded than I expected since it’s located away from condo resorts. The private pool was well-kept and shaded in the afternoon, and the community pools were very clean and offered nice variety of depths. We really appreciated having beach items like chairs, toys, coolers, wagon, and popup tent provided. Unfortunately the trolly service was not working during our stay, but it’s only about an 8 minute walk to the gulf for an adult. One thing we didn’t realize is that there are no internal stairs between the levels of this home, but it didn’t bother us very much as both staircases are covered. The entire property was very clean, and someone stopped by to service the pool during our stay. The only problem we had was that the master bathroom shower hot water was broken during our stay. We notified the host, he did respond, and ended up working out a deal with us for the inconvenience. We definitely enjoyed our stay, and the location was perfectly near lots of favorites without being overly crowded.

We took this vacation for my daughter’s high school graduation trip and were not disappointed. The property was gorgeous and the owners were so very nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great visit-Plan to return

Stayed with extended family (total of 7; 6 adults and one teenager). The kitchen was well stocked. Location was an easy walk to beach access. There’s two grocery stores within 1-2 miles. The neighborhood is gated and not much traffic. Great place to walk or ride bikes. Plan to stay again.

Family vacation

Our family of five and our friend’s family of six stayed here for our annual vacation. The house is beautiful and the pool was great for the kids (aged 1 year to 16). The walk to the beach and pools is about five minutes. We also loved the home was in a gated community! Loved that they had a washer and dryer and provided a few laundry pods. The only minor drawback was the upstairs and downstairs are not connected inside the house which we did not realize until we arrived. We still had an amazing time and loved the property. Beds were comfy, linens were clean, appliances are high quality, and the grill was great to have. There are beach toys, chairs, umbrella, and a canopy tent for the beach which was a plus! Though the beach access was great, we ended up making the short trip to Henderson State Beach Park to get away from the chair and umbrella vendors on the “private” beaches. Our group has already agreed on trying to return next year, even though we typically try to go somewhere new every year.

Great

The house was very nice, updated, and well stocked. The setup is a bit to get used to though, as there is no inside passage between the 2 levels. Had to go outside to go upstairs and downstairs. We had 6 adults and 4 teenagers so it was fine for us. The property is very nice and well located to the activities around Destin.

Dream Vacation

One of the best trips my family has ever taken! The house is beautiful, the walk to the beach is quick, it’s not noisy or crowded, the community pools were lovely, the private beach access was everything!! Management is very responsive and kind. We would absolutely stay here again. The only feedback I’d give is to get rid of the Glade plug-Ins in the house. The smell was so strong it gave us headaches.

This is THE house to stay in!

Our family of 5 and our friends family of 4 stayed here and it was perfect for us! Plenty of room for everyone, seating for meals was great. The house was clean and had nice bathrooms. The garage was stocked with beach toys, chairs, umbrella and easy up canopy. It had a nice grille that we used. It was a short walk to the beach in a nice neighborhood. This area is perfect located at the back of gulf shore drive. We’ve been coming to Destin for 20+ years and easily one of our favorite properties.

Perfect Spring Break Family Home

Our two families stayed at PuntaVistaMare for spring break and it worked out wonderfully. 4 adults and 5 kids fit the space perfectly. One of the most well stocked homes I’ve ever rented. The amenities provided (wagon, coolers, beach towels, boogie boards, etc) exceeded expectations. The kids loved the private pool! The community trolley to get to the pools and beach was super helpful. The two Beaches were fantastic. Would stay again and will recommend. Cheers!

Paradise at punta vistamare

We enjoyed a relaxing spring break at punta vistamare. The house is cozy and the pool was thoroughly enjoyed ( we did pay to have it heated which was a good call for the season in which we visited).

Spring Break Family Trip

Our stay at Buena VistaMare was fantastic. Jonathan, the owner, is quick to respond and helpful. I had a party of 10 and the room accommodations were perfect. All the adults had a bedroom and the 4 kids slept in the bunks. The pool is a bit small, but long, and was actually perfect for our kids to play. Plenty of seating for us all on the back patio to enjoy cocktails and snacks. We paid to have the pool heated and it was well worth it! The house is very centrally located just a couple of miles from the main drag and was very easy to get to ALL the restaurants and tourist attractions. A. Scott

We loved our stay

Our group really enjoyed staying at his house! This house felt like home! The location was great, and in a beautiful neighborhood. The house had everything we needed for the beach and it was in walking distance to the beach. The pool was a plus and we had lots of fun. The host was extremely nice and vey accommodating. We were greeted with a cute welcome sign and gift so thoughtful and sweet! We would definitely stay here again.

A Little Slice of Heaven

This property is worth every penny! Firstly, Jonathan is an amazing host. Communication with him was quick, easy, and he is so hospitable and welcoming. The house was clean and had more than what we needed. They had chic beach hats, beach chairs, toys for the kids (thanks for that!!!), and so much more. This house is perfect for families and we felt right at home. Destin Pointe itself is quaint, cozy, quiet, and their security is too notch. I will never stay in another area! If you are in between Destin Pointe or Seaside — pick Destin Pointe! We visited Seaside/30A and it was so busy and touristy (impossible to find parking). Destin Pointe however was close to everything we needed and we didn’t have issues with traffic and parking! We felt like we had a slice of Heaven here. I should also note that the photos do not do this house justice! It’s wayyyy prettier in person. We also utilized the private pool every evening because it was so shady and nice out! The two community pools were also nice to use! Thanks for an amazing stay Jonathan!

Our paradise

The home was absolutely stunning! Extremely clean with everything we needed. Even a sweet welcome basket and welcome sign. The pool was great for the younger kids, that didn’t want to run down to the beach ocean and the neighborhood was wonderful the teenagers to run around at two of the neighborhood pools and shuffleboard. The garage is fully stocked with tons of toys, beach, chairs, umbrella‘s, Floaties, and even a variety of cute hats just to help the beachy feel. Walking distance to the Jetti and beach side was only about 10 minutes. However, the tram was available with just a phone call away. Beds were perfect with tons of linens! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back.

This was our first experience in Destin and this home was just amazing! Easy walk to the beach and both community pools. The home was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. Our family of 10 all felt like we were at home and we enjoyed our time together. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked! We especially loved the ninja blender, deep freezer and beach supplies! Destin Pointe has wonderful amenities and although the neighborhood is large, it never felt crowded or loud. 1 trip to the Emerald Coast and you will be hooked! We are looking forward to staying here again!

Best Vacation Ever!!!

Johnathan was great to communicate with. He answered all of my questions and made sure our stay was the best. The home was better than the pictures. Beautifully decorated, loved the decks, pool and short 10 minute walk to the most amazing beach we'd ever seen. We are already trying to figure out how we can go again!!!
