This condo has been newly renovated to give our guest a spa like feel while relaxing at the beach. Located at the Amalfi condominiums in Miramar Beach sleeps 6 and is perfect for families, couples and businesspeople who are looking for that little slice of beach life. A gated community where Security walks the premises. This is a self-check-in residence with keyless entry lock and two free parking passes provided.

The open floor plan, large kitchen, 1 bedroom, 2 bunk alcove, pullout queen sofa in living room and 2 bathrooms provides plenty of space for everyone. Centrally located between Destin, Sandestin and the beaches of 30A there is an abundance of actives, popular bars, restaurants, and shopping, a perfect destination for your beach vacation.

The Amalfi condominium complex is in Miramar Beach on the Emerald Coast and is situated on 8.6 acres of lovely spacious well-manicured grounds, 2 pools with one heated during the cooler months, designated underground parking, 362 feet of beach front on the Gulf of Mexico, follow the dune bridge walkover for short two-minute walk from your front door. For those looking to maintain their healthy workout routines while on vacation take advantage of the fitness room with weights and cardio machines, lighted tennis and basketball courts, nearby hiking or running trails. End your day with pool side BBQ’s and fire pits.

Two Beach chairs and an umbrella set up daily are included in your stay for visitors with reservations from March 1 - Oct 31st.

We had an amazing stay! Large condo with everything you could need. Beautiful view of the gulf and pool. Very clean unit and property. Loved having a parking spot and being in a gated area. Close to everything! Short walk to the beach. Loved the beach service too with the umbrella and chairs. Will stay again!

Destin is becoming a habit for our family

This is our third year going to Destin/Miramar Beach and staying at Amalfi. We love the closeness to the beach, the pools and the slowness of Miramar Beach when compared to Destin. Denise was great to work with on the condo and it was in great shape.

Fantastic for the Family - Quick Walk to the Beach & the Bathrooms on the Ramp we’re a huge plus when vacationing with kids! The condo was clean & had everything we needed for our week long stay. The pools were warm, but were large and never were to crowded. The grills were great for cooking dinner! We will be back, thanks Christina!

Location, spacious, cleanliness all in one!

My husband and I spent a week at this condo and it was perfect! Close proximity to beach and the best part is two chairs and umbrella were included. Property was very pristine. Condo was spacious with nice open concept and included everything in the kitchen that you'll need. AC could have been a little better as unit got a little warm at times, but overall a fantastic condo and experience with owners was too notch!

Great Property Close to the Beach!

We loved that Christina's condo was so close to the beach! It was beautifully decorated, and you could tell she pays attention to details! We also liked that the tennis courts were close as well. We encountered one small issue, but it was resolved quickly, which was appreciated. Overall, this condo complex is well maintained, clean, and beautiful. The condo security guards are attentive, which is great, but they stuck a warning note under the doormat on our last day that said we had towels on the balcony rails. We never did; it was actually the two condos beside us. (This isn't a complaint, and I didn't mention it to Christina. I love that security wants to keep the property looking nice! I just wanted to give a heads up for anyone who might be tempted to put towels on the balcony.) Again, this is a fantastic condo, and I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful

This is a great location, close to the beach and close to my grandparents that live less than 2 miles away. Our check in information never got sent to us but the owner responded right away and got it taken care of!! only complaint is that the fire alarm went off at 3 and 4 in the morning 2 days in a row and we had to evacuate the building with our 2 young children. A known problem by the resort apparently that they didn’t want to pay for on the weekend but it was fixed come Monday per fire department. The owner was prompt and tried to figure out was going on for us after the second alarm so we appreciated that. The place was clean and had the essentials we needed. Would definitely stay again due to location, cleanliness and owner communication.

Exceptional Experience

This wonderful condo is charming and well-stocked with just about anything you could need. If you prefer to cook your own meals, the kitchen has everything. If you prefer eating out, this location is ideal with very short walks to several locations. The property is absolutely beautiful with lots to do (two great pools, numerous grills spaced throughout, a workout center, and a fantastic fire-pit area just to name a few), but if you prefer staying inside, this unit is modern without sacrificing the feel of being at a traditional beach home. The free beach service is such a plus - nothing beats just walking across the street to have your chairs (which are quite comfortable) and umbrella (huge) set up and waiting on you. This unit is ideal for a small family or a couple looking for a romantic getaway. My wife and I absolutely loved it, and we look forward to returning soon.

Disappointed and Deceptive

We rented this condo with the understanding that the complex had direct beach access - across the street. Yet , when we arrived, the beach access was closed and under construction- but the property manager never mentioned this to us nor was it in her listing. There was a notice hanging in the condo so she has known since last year yet failed to tell renters before arriving or their refund period. The new route to the beach was almost a mile long and took over 10 minutes hauling your beach bags to the chairs provided. (A walk down the road to the new access point, then the stairs down to the beach, then the walk on the beach back to the front of the condo to access the chairs) In addition - The thermostat is locked at 72 , which is quite warm after a long walk to the beach in the Florida sun and a dip in the complexes pools which are hot tubs and not refreshing or comfortable at all. A full order of curly fries (from a previous renter) were under the master bed, Cheetos under the freezer door when pulled out, and a bite of sandwich under the couch. Had we been told ahead of time about the closed beach access, thermostats being locked , the unusually hot pool temperatures, we could’ve made a decision based on what our needs and wants were for our vacation - very disappointed in the lack of transparency in this listing.

As owner I want nothing more than for you to enjoy your stay. Unfortunately for us both, there are people, who are not as respectful as you. They leave food under the furniture, leave the doors open when the air conditioning is running and dump sand down the drains... I work hard to strike the balance between your enjoyment and protecting my property. The maintenance team at the Amalfi recommends 72 as the temperate to strike that balance. I also provided you my cell phone number so that you could address any issues immediately and during your stay. I would have been more than happy to accommodate you, had you expressed your frustration. There are two beach accesses points with a block of this property on to the east, and one at the west. The City of Miramar Beach has added a ramp, and bathrooms to the access to the west. That work is complete and is open for the use of the Amalfi. This information was provided to all guests. Thank you for expressing your concerns and allowing me to make improvements in my rental. All the best, Christina

Not as expected

The property was not as expected. The condo itself was in fair shape, with limited supplies included. The cleaning was fair upon arrival. The owner was very poor with communication. We had several issues while visiting including a dishwasher that did not work and beach access not as described on the listing. The beach access has been under construction for quite some time and was not complete, so we had to walk quite a ways around to find access to the beach every day. If we wanted to use the beach umbrellas we then had to walk back up the beach and then back around to get back to the condo afterwards. Traveling with several kids this was very inconvenient. The owner did not disclose this or the dishwasher being broken prior to our arrival. Needless to say, I did not want to spend my vacation doing dishes or hiking to the beach with children. On top of this, once we did complain about the dishwasher, there was very poor communication and a repair man arrived without noticed and my children in the room. Luckily I had just come back to the condo or the kids would’ve been there alone. The repair man was there maybe five minutes and left and never heard another word, with no updates. I did finally emailed the owner and request the repairman to just not return at this point. I have been vacationing with my children for 15 years and used countless rentals. The communication here was by far the worst we have had and we did not appreciate the inconveniences for the large price that we paid. Had I known these issues, I would have preferred to stay in a condo that was better furnished with working equipment, cleaner, and with direct beach access as described. Honestly would not recommend.

Mandy, I certainly understand not want to do dishes during your vacation. Unfortunately, the dishwasher broke the day before your arrival. I informed you as soon as I was made aware of this issue and per your request tried to get the dishwasher repaired during your stay, without interfering with your stay. I do apologize that our communication was off, I did send a text at 8:30 am asking for the best time for you. Because we were unable to connect, I asked the repair person to be quick and the least disruptive to you as possible. The good news is the dishwasher has been replaced and is brand new. There are two beach accesses points within a block of this property one to the east, and one at the west. The west being the closer of the two, directions to the east access was provided at the property. The City of Miramar Beach has added a ramp, and bathrooms to the access to the west. That work is complete and is open for the use of the Amalfi. This information was provided to all guests. Thank you for expressing your concerns and allowing me to make improvements in my rental. Great property for our family

This was our first time visiting the Destin area. The Almalfi resort was very clean and well maintained. The pools were great for the kids (and adults!). Despite it being a holiday week, it was never too crowded, and there is a very nice/clean restroom by the pool. There were turtles and fish in the pond with a fountain that the kids liked checking out, and a nice lawn area and fire pit we saw others enjoying. The only complaints were that they were still doing construction on the beach access across the road, so we had to walk a block or so further - not the worst, but when it’s 100* with small kids and gear it feels much longer! We also had difficulty finding our parking space when we arrived - the spaces aren’t in numerical order, and it turned out our number plaque had fallen off. We found it later and then had no issues. Very nice to have covered parking in the Florida heat. The condo was very well equipped and nicely updated and decorated. We felt right at home. Our host responded to a couple of texts with questions in a timely manner. Overall a very nice stay - thank you!

Clean, convenient and great communication

We were very pleased with our stay at this condo. We had great communication with Christina, the property mgr. The whole Amalfi complex was beautiful and nicely cared for. The unit was very clean and just as the pictures and VRBO listing described. We love how convenient this complex was to grocery stores and restaurants. The beach chairs and umbrella service that comes with the unit is a wonderful addition! Very pleased and would definitely stay at this unit again.
