Acerca de este alojamiento

Poluzot - SAINT-DENIS-DE-VAUX

Odile & Emmanuel welcome you to a charming, authentic country house from the late 19th century, carefully restored and steeped in local history (former village grocery store, which marked its era and still retains its historic terracotta floor tiles). Nestled in a quiet alleyway facing the vineyards, a stone's throw from nature, in a peaceful and picturesque wine-growing village perfectly preserved in the Côte Chalonnaise, nestled in a panoramic viewpoint on a west-facing hillside (offering splendid views of the Vallée des Vaux and its sublime vineyard landscapes), beneath the wooded ridges of a small forest sheltering a renowned climbing site. Complete tranquility in the heart of the rolling vineyard countryside, within a protected ZNIEFF and Natura 2000 area (for its rich flora and fauna), nestled in a soothing, picture-postcard setting that combines bucolic vineyard slopes, rivers, fields and gentle meadows, and vast wild forests (perfect for relaxing walks or mountain biking). This comfortable cottage features a spacious living area and a warm, rustic charm with a touch of retro appeal. The atmosphere is peaceful and refreshing. The cozy bedrooms are tucked away under the eaves, creating a cozy, cabin-like feel. A large, private, enclosed gravel courtyard has been transformed into a spacious terrace (with varying sun and shade) complemented by a slightly secluded natural area nestled at the edge of the vineyards. Composition: Semi-detached house adjoining the owners' residence (and a second family dwelling). Wi-Fi (fiber optic). Electric heating. Washing machine in an outbuilding (accessible from the courtyard). Duplex cottage (with a half-landing of 5 steps). Ground floor: living room/kitchen/lounge. Half-landing: shower room, separate WC. First floor: 2 bedrooms (one double bed 140x190cm / one twin bed 90x190cm). Enclosed courtyard/terrace (gravel) + bicycle storage + private parking. Access to a separate natural area 30m away. Shops, including a supermarket, 6 km away. A sublime wine estate nestled in the heart of the magnificent Vaux Valley, "the little Switzerland of the Chalonnaise"! This charming, authentic country house, dating from the late 19th century and meticulously restored, is nestled peacefully in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise vineyards, within a tranquil, typical, and well-preserved village. It is conveniently located near Mercurey (6 km) and Givry (8 km), delightful wine-growing and shopping towns (with numerous amenities including supermarkets). The splendid, unspoiled setting of gently rolling countryside blends viticulture and unspoiled nature, between vineyard slopes, vast wild forests, and meadows, within a protected area designated as a ZNIEFF (Zone Naturelle d'Intérêt Écologique, Faunistique et Floristique) and Natura 2000 (for its exceptionally rich ecosystems), and adjacent to the famous "Val d'Or" and its renowned "Mercurey" (leading wine estate of the Côte Chalonnaise, one of the oldest AOCs in France). An exceptionally privileged location on the routes of several marked hiking trails (complemented by various "green walks" crisscrossing the area, suitable for walking or mountain biking / the first accessible only 2 km away), the Romanesque churches circuit & the "Route des Grands Vins" (which extends into the illustrious "Route des Grands Crus" passing through the legendary wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault…) and the GR7 & GR76 (connected to the renowned GRP "Au Fil des Vignes et des Vallées" & "Grands Crus"), 9 km from the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" Green Way, 12 km from the Canal du Centre Green Way (adjacent to EuroVelo 6 as well as the "Tour de Saône-et-Loire à vélo"), 13 km from the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de Saône-et-Loire à vélo), 17 km from the The "Pond Route" cycle route, 18 km of the "Vineyard Route" cycle route (a 36 km route through the vineyards of Burgundy's Grand Cru wines, among the most prestigious in the world), 18 km of the "Morvan to Vineyards" Green Way, and 20 km of the Blue Way (along the Saône River) connected to the Bresse Green Way. At the crossroads of the Couchois region and the world-renowned vineyards of the Côte de Beaune and Hautes Côtes de Beaune, at the intersection of the Côte d'Or, the Beaune region, the Bresse Bourguignonne, and the Autunois-Morvan. Ideally located for exploring the region: 10 km from the Val Dracy Clinic, 15 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (a designated "City of Art and History"), 16 km from Chagny, renowned for its Sunday morning gourmet market, 17 km from the spa and wine-growing town of Santenay (with a casino), 26 km from Saint-Gengoux-le-National ("Cluniac site", a medieval town designated a "Town of Character of Burgundy-Franche-Comté"), 27 km from the medieval village of Nolay (with a lake), 28 km from Le Creusot (home to the famous Combes amusement park / Le Creusot TGV train station 23 km away), 32 km from the renowned fortified city of Beaune ("capital of Burgundy wines"), 42 km from Tournus, and 43 km from Autun (a designated "City of Art and History", rich in historical sites). An invaluable heritage spanning over 2000 years of human presence) & 51 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny. A peaceful getaway for a relaxing "retreat" with family or loved ones, immersed in a picture-postcard setting!
