Very clean and well decorated

Check in process was simple and straightforward. The apartment is well laid out and roomy. Everything appears to be in very good condition. Nothing appears to be old and worn. The kitchen has no stove or oven but that is not something we needed. It does have a microwave and toaster oven. The apartment met all of our needs. The only issue we had was that the owners which live above the apartment go to bed later than us and we would hear them walking around over our bedroom. It did not keep me awake but if you are a light sleeper it might be an issue. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Just OK…

Let me start by saying that the hosts are wonderful! They were very responsive and made my daughter and I feel very welcome. Also- the space is lovely, very clean, and fashionably decorated. However, the reason I often enjoy VRBO over Airbeeandbee is that we’re supposed to have the whole place to ourselves. While it’s listed as a basement apartment, which is accurate, it is very much still part of the house where the hosts live. You park on the driveway and have to walk right past the owners to get to the door to your space. Awkward. Also- inside the rental there is a staircase leading to a door to the main house, which isn’t shown in the listing pictures. As two women traveling alone, it was unsettling how many entrances to the VRBO cannot be secured (example: they open outward and lock from the other side), including a crawl space that leads to the bedroom. Also- you can hear everything going on upstairs. If a fork drops, you’ll hear it. Their kids got up at 5:00am (on a Saturday!!) to go to the beach and scared us awake with the thundering noise. The hosts were very apologetic and sweet… but this is a review for other travelers and I would want to know.

We had an excellent overall experience. The hosts communicated often and clearly. We stayed 3 nights and the property was practically perfect.

Pickleball, weight training, hiking Kennesaw Mountain, going on walks, biking, skiing, dinner with friends and family, day trips to North Georgia mountains marveling at the beautiful sites around our wonderful state & country, are just some of the things we like to do.

Off the living room is the spacious bedroom with queen bed, futon couch, which can be made into a bed (linens provided upon request for futon) desk workspace & plenty of closet & drawer space. Also off the living room is the eat-in kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster oven, electric skillet, & coffee maker. You will also find some coffee & tea supplies, water bottles & seltzers, and a basket of snacks. Connecting to both the kitchen & bedroom is the sizable full bathroom with stall shower, plush white towels, hair dryer, body wash, small shampoo & conditioners, bar soap & organic hand soap. There is also a small closet with some available shelving and extra towels. Wifi is available throughout apartment.
