WHAT IS THE MARCELA RESORT & SPA?
With its exclusive hillside location offering stunning views of Banderas Bay and the town of Puerto Vallarta, the Marcela Resort & Spa offers guests a truly memorable vacation experience. This quaint boutique resort gives vacationers a unique sense of privacy in this popular tourist town. Each villa has a full kitchen and its own balcony or patio with breathtaking ocean views. First and foremost, you get access to all three of the 1st floor luxury suites-The Garden Villa, The Garden Studio Poolside, and The Garden Studio Hillside.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE FIRST FLOOR SUITES?

SUITE #1:
Let's start with The Garden Villa. You will adore this garden-level, poolside two-bedroom, two-bath villa, which is chock full of colorful surprises at every turn!
Canterra stone archways guide you into the master bedroom with its dark wood closets and furniture, mirrored headboard, bold red bedding, and a glorious tiled and jetted Jacuzzi tub-it's the only villa at Marcela with a private, in-room hot tub! The master bathroom is portioned out with a separate rainfall shower surrounded by delicate tile and beneath exposed wood beams.

The second bedroom is an explosion of color with its fuchsia bedding set against a bright teal wall, overlooking the resort's pools and gardens. The sitting area and dining room feature unique local art and furnishings, including a breathtaking blue-and-gold serving cabinet beside the massive curved HDTV. The kitchen is spacious and includes all you need to prepare anything from a light mid-day snack to a full 5-course dinner for you and your family.
The Garden Villa features individually-controlled air conditioning units in each bedroom, ceiling fans, and colorful sconces in every room, a staple of the Marcela Resort.

SUITE #2:
Now, let's talk about The Garden Studio Poolside. If you're looking for a private hideaway that lets you maximize your swim and sun time, it's hard to do better than this enchanting king bedroom villa with unparalleled access to Marcela's pool and garden areas.

This comfortable "home away from home" comes with a luxurious king bed with yellow-and-white-bedding, rich wood furniture, and authentic décor. The bathroom features a large tile-and-glass walk-in shower, toilet, and a glorious tile sink and marble vanity.

There is a full kitchen with a refrigerator, 6-burner stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and blender. It also has all the pots, pans, stoneware, and flatware you need to prepare your own meals and snacks-even though you're only a short walk from the resort restaurant and poolside bar. There's also an individually controlled air conditioning unit in the villa.

The Garden Studio Poolside places you right next to our cascading blue glass-tile pools, which invite you to linger and unwind with a tropical drink or a book in hand. Bookended by our stunning manicured terraced gardens above and the million-dollar view of the glittering ocean below, our hot tub and warm pools are located on our spacious elegant patio area. This outdoor venue-dotted with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and tables for enjoying a meal al fresco-will offer hours of much needed rest and relaxation during your stay. There's even a real sand beach area on our patio should you wish to replicate the oceanfront experience and feel cool sand beneath your feet while relaxing poolside.

SUITE #3:
Finally, we have to talk about The Garden Studio Hillside. Located alongside the vibrant hills of our garden paradise, this charming king bedroom villa has everything you need for a private Puerto Vallarta escape.

The room features a heavenly king-sized bed adorned with bright teal comforter and vibrant pillows, and a luxurious bathroom with a tiled sunken bathtub and rain shower, a gorgeous tile sink, and an oversized vanity. The villa also provides a mini-fridge and multi-purpose countertop oven, allowing you to prepare your own meals and snacks-even though you're only a short walk from the resort restaurant and poolside bar.

There's also an individually controlled air conditioning unit in the villa.
At night, you will be lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of the waterfalls from Marcela's nearby terraced gardens. You will be just feet away from the secret toadstool steps and Gaudí 'bone' bridges built into the hillside of our boutique resort paradise.
