Beautiful country house for 12 guests with a large garden and swimming pool

Nestled in a small, private and secure domain, this superb character property, formerly the residence of writer Henri Troyat, is set in 5,000 sqm of beautifully landscaped garden. It comprises a renovated 250 sqm stone bastide, a true charming hideaway, as well as two independent annexes of 50 sqm each, ideal for intimate gatherings.

On the main floor, the bastide offers warm and generous living spaces: an entrance hall, a triple living room with fireplace, a convivial dining room, an inspiring library, and a fully-equipped american open kitchen. In addition, there is a laundry room, a bathroom and a refrigerated wine cellar. Upstairs, the nightime area features a master suite with balcony and garden views, two en suite bedrooms (one with terrace offering panoramic views of the village of Spéracedes), a shower room, a fourth bedroom and a spacious dressing room.

The carefully landscaped garden invites you to relax, with a heated swimming pool (13m x 6m), a petanque court, a multifunctional BBQ, an outdoor dining patio under a lighted rotunda, a garage and a carport. Two independent studios complete the ensemble. Each has a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. The entire property is fully air-conditioned (including the studios) and equipped with a security system with cameras at the entrance.

The villa is located at the entrance of Spéracèdes, a charming hilltop village typical of Provence, known for its centuries-old olive trees and breathtaking views over the Mediterranean. Here, you can enjoy the tranquility of an authentic village while staying close to the highlights of the French Riviera.

For your convenience, bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided and included in the cleaning fee. You will also find a welcome kit with essential shower products and coffee to ensure a comfortable stay.

The pool is equipped with an alarm in compliance with regulations. However, children must always be under the constant supervision of an adult when near or in the pool.

An inventory with photos is carried out just before your arrival. You will be asked to sign it electronically on a mobile device, and a copy will be sent to you by email, confirming the condition of the house at the time of key handover.
