Horrible stay

Dishes were dirty, cockroaches everywhere. The internet was terrible. Location was in a different city than what ad stated. Couldn’t get a refund for the last day due to a hurricane coming. Won’t ever stay there again

Until you have asked for the refund, everything was good and when I couldn’t issue the refund for reducing the stay, you have all the problems published in the review. This is not fair. Guests will go thru all the reviews and not just your false allegations. Thank you

The owner double booked the property. This was after I had multiple conversations with the owner. We had travelled out of state and were awaiting the codes to the property when he called to tell me this. All monies had to be refunded

This was the fault of the calender sync between vrbo and airbnb. I couldn’t help it. I already apologized and requested vrbo to refund asap to the customer and asked them to explain it was not my mistake and they did.

Terrible

House was very disappointing, did not look anything like the pictures, floors and bathroom were dirty, counted 3 roaches on walls and funiture. Rough neighborhood as well, 2 inch gap under the outside door to the back house allowing critters to come in. Our crew members would not stay in it. Requested a refund and went through a 2 day hassle to get our money back. Definitely would not recommend.

Very confusing location!

Overall I think this was a good value for the money. The beds are clean, everything looked as it was advertised except the bedrooms were smaller than we thought they would be but we only wanted to sleep there so it was fine. However the address that is given on the VRBO website is wrong. The property manager had sent an email but for some reason a part of it was missing when it came to us. It had the new address. However when we would leave from the property and put in the new address it never took us back to the actual site. The problem is that there are two 105 structure. The actual house is behind another house and does not really have a street that goes to it. And it is not in the town of Lyons proper but in Oak Park. I realize that lots of rural properties use a larger towns address but that and the problem with the street name really makes this a difficult place to find. We were literally going to houses knocking on doors and looking for code boxes on the houses. Luckily the people in the area were nice and no one took offense. Finally a couple showed us where to go and acknowledge that the address is totally messed up. I called the property manager and he was very apologetic and helpful but it took a while for him to get back to us and we were wondering where we were going to go because it was 10 o’clock at night in the middle of nowhere. But we persevered And it turned out to be a wonderful stay.
