We stayed at Tesuque Gem over the summer for an internship and had a wonderful experience. The place was spotless upon arrival, the furniture was very comfortable, and the neighborhood felt both quiet and friendly. Keegan was a responsive host who made sure any issues were addressed quickly and smoothly.While the internship site was a bit of a drive, the home’s proximity to Santa Fe and nearby grocery stores made daily living very convenient. The amenities all worked well, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful extras like the rooftop patio with a grill and the sofa couch, even though we didn’t get the chance to use them. Overall, it was a comfortable and reliable stay, and we’d gladly recommend it to others.

Beautiful Casita

This casita is absolutely gorgeous and wonderfully maintained. Keegan and Darlene were incredibly attentive and helped to provide anything needed to improve the quality of the stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in a small casita near Tesuque.

Fantastic little place

I had a great stay here at this little casita in Tesuque. Keegan was wonderful to work with and super accommodating to my changing timelines. I always had very prompt responses to any issues that I had. Everything was very well stocked with plenty of linens and lots of cooking supplies. It’s a great place for one, or maybe a couple, but definitely not someplace I would stay with friends or anyone other than a significant other.

Home Away From Home

It was perfect! I needed a place to stay while my house went through a remodel and this place worked great. It was the right size for my corgi and me and when my son visited from college, there was enough room for him as well. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals. Having a desk was nice as I occasionally needed to work from home. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Good enough for a few weeks

The process to get in and then having to go over a contract with owner makes you sign makes you think it was not worth booking. The place is located within other houses and add the road getting in can be a little bit stressful especially when it snows or other neighbors speed in and out so be aware of this. The place looks bigger in the pictures but only 600 sq ft and low ceilings making it slightly claustrophobic after a few days and if more then 2 in the place then know to look for a bigger place.

A Hidden Gem

Finding this little casita that would accept our kitty for our stay was a wonderful experience. It is conveniently located in Tesuque near El Nido and The Tesuque Village Market. The casita is fully stocked, has a comfortable queen bed, great water, and neighbors. The area is quiet and safe.

Cozy & Quiet

We stayed at this casita for two months while we remodeled our home. The casita had everything needed to be our "home away from home". My husband and I found it to be comfortable, cozy, quiet, and private. It's a great location for getting away and unwinding under the beautiful NM skies. It sits within a magical little neighborhood and many evenings we simply strolled down to dinner at El Nido and / or met up with friends at Tesuque Village Market. Keegan (host) was great at communicating and we found him to be gracious and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Highly Recommended!

We were impressed with our hosts, starting with the initial phone call. They wanted to make sure the casita was right for us, and we were right for the casita. The location is great and is within easy walking distance to Tesuque Village Market (TVM) and El Nido which are places you do not want to miss. The casita is close driving distance to the Santa Fe Plaza. The casita has been remodeled and is cozy, quiet and warm with a fully equipped kitchen, even a crockpot! Storage baskets under the bed and a washer and dryer were great benefits. It was a great experience and introduction to the SF area. Our hosts were welcoming and ensured we had a great stay!

Comfortable, Cozy and Well Appointed

I stayed and Keegan and Stephanie's property for 2.5 months while being out of my own apartment for an undetermined amount of time due to a freak situation. They were so welcoming and accommodating during this stressful time for me. They also allowed me to bring my kitty which was such a relief! He loved it too! The house itself, was cute and cozy and immaculate with such attention to detail. It is exactly like it is in the pictures except for one thing: the office/Living Room area is much larger in person and I was pleasantly surprised as I work remotely. The enclosed yard was lovely and was perfect for sunrise and sunset views. The neighborhood was welcoming and quiet and I felt very safe here. As much as it was stressful to unexpectedly be away from my own home, I never once wished I had something from my own place. Keegan and Stephanie thought of everything a person would need to have a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with everything like high quality pots, pans, dishes and appliances - plus teas, spices, oil, vinegar etc. And when you don’t feel like cooking you can take a quick walk to Tesuque Village Market or an 11 minute drive to downtown Santa Fe. The house has high-speed wifi, an amazing TV and soundbar, comfy sofa, comfy bed and portable air-conditioning if you’re here in the summer. The place is just clean, clean, clean. There are so many great things to say about the rental and owners that I could go on and on. I feel really lucky to have found this place when I did and I highly recommend it.

Adorable Place - Perfect Quiet Neighborhood

I cannot say enough good things about this rental. Keegan and Stephanie (the owners) thought of every single detail. The place was immaculate and well stocked with everything I needed for my stay. They were responsive and helpful and the neighborhood was so welcoming and quiet. I found the place to be better than what the pictures showed. There is a nice private yard with beautiful views of the sky. Every day the sky-scape changed. In addition, there are lovely hummingbirds that greeted me every morning and evening so I had wild-life. I rented the place for 4 months and worked remotely. The wi-fi and reception was great. The beds (queen and pull out couch) were comfortable and there is a nice refrigerator with water/ice, an instant hot for tea, all of the pots & pans and baking/cooking items one would need. If you like music and movies, there is an amazing Bose sound system and TV set up. This was a perfect place for me. I felt very safe. The location was excellent. I nice easy walk to the popular Tesuque Village Market and a nice quick drive into Santa Fe. I really lucked out with this rental. I would rent from them again!

You can work/relax without having to bear the noise or issues that come with being in the city itself. Yet, you're still conveniently close to Santa Fe!

The Village of Tesuque is a desirable area where many artists, celebrities, and locals have lived over the years. This is due to the solitude, greenery, and easy living just outside the city. You'll find that you can view stars easily with less light pollution, worry less about noise, and take in the beautiful trees and birds that fill the area from April through October!
