Welcome to Cozy Bear Cabin, expertly managed by Great Mountain Cabin Rentals. Sit back and watch your cares float away on the hammock in the large screened in porch; rock till your hearts content in the rocking chairs or sit by the brand new fire pit on the spacious deck. This cabin is within a few minutes to town. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen size bed and private bathroom connected to each bedroom. Brand new large screen smart tv's (living room and bedrooms)will allow you to stream your favorite movies or watch the game. A well equipped kitchen to make your meals so you can just stay in and relax in front of the gas fireplace. Can't beat this place for the location and price.

This is a pet friendly cabin and there is a $50 pet fee that will be added to your stay if you bring a pet. Please let us know your intention on bringing a pet in advanced.

You will be required to sign a contract and provide a copy of your drivers license.

*Any stays over 28 days will incur additional cleaning fees.

Very nice place, loved the views, close to town and the management company was great. The hot tub and fire pit, along with the screened porch made the outdoor living space awesome.

The cabin was cozy and clean. The hot tub was especially nice after a couple miles of hiking and the outdoor firepit was used twice daily to shake off the chilly mornings and evenings. The bird feeders were a nice touch so we could watch our local flying friends. Another highlight were the 4 deer that feed daily right below the deck. A GREAT vacation.

A very cozy cabin awesome hot tub loved the screen porch beautiful sunset and sunrise and so enjoyed seeing all the deer every morning and afternoon very close to awesome restaurants that Rib County BBQ was off the chain yummy and the casino was right down the road we would love to come back .

Cabin was great! Enjoyed the massive back screened porch ( even during the earthquake)Location is very peaceful and relaxing.The hot tub was prefect. Loved going to the town of Murphy! Great restaurants!

Nice cabin for two couples, pretty view.

Loved the hot tub, fire pit and screened back porch. Could use a couple more chairs for the bar. Also could use a vacuum. Casserole dish or two. Overall very nice.

Cozy Cabin

This cabin is perfect for your mountain getaway! It has everything you need and then some. Hot tub was a plus on a cold fall night. We will def be visiting again

The views from the screen porch is beautiful. You can also watch the sunrise from the bed! The cabin could use some updating in the bathrooms. The vanities are very low. However, we loved the knotty pine cabinets and wall in the living room.

The sunrise view from this cabin is wonderful. It is stocked well. Bedrooms are good size with en-suite bathrooms. It’s a great place to stay . It’s off the blacktop road but not hard to get to.

Very nice, simple, clean cabin that met all of our needs. Very close to Murphy and Harrahs Casino. Only thing that would have made it perfect is king size beds.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The hot tub was absolutely perfect for us. The view of the mountains was stunning. The first night there we couldn't get the gas fireplace inside lit so we contacted the property manager who sent someone out that night to help. After that we had no problems with it. It was nice to bring our fur babies, too. The location was perfect! We would highly recommend!

From the fantastic new hot tub to the great views, this is the perfect cabin for a romantic getaway for 2. Rooms are spacious, kitchen is ready for cooking. Whole place was very clean & easy to get to whilst also secluded. Would come back again.

Family visit

We throughly enjoyed in our cabin. What spectacular views we had from the screened in back porch. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. We had s’mores next to the fire pit. My wife and daughter really enjoyed the Art and Cherokee Museum in Downtown Murphy. The gravel road was a little rough on the car but other than that great stay! Definitely would rent again!

Great Time

Every year my husband, mother, and stepfather as well as our 2 pugs go away to the mountains for Thanksgiving. This is a week of rest and relaxation before we have a busy holiday season. We all look forward to this and this was perfect. We enjoyed the screened in porch, fire pit, watching deer, and breathing fresh crisp mountain air. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook our Thanksgiving meal. If you are looking for a place to relax and rest, this is perfect!

NC splendor

Few steps into homey cabin with fantastic screened porch and views. Hot tub was awesome under the stars. Fire pit and s’mores! Only 10 minutes to town w nice outdoor pickleball courts.

The cabin was spacious & clean but it’s definitely an older home that needs some upgrades. The screened in porch was really nice but the views were almost completely obscured by the trees. You will see the sun rise not the sunset. The rocking chairs need to be replaced as they are cracked & squeaked like crazy when you rock in them..the hammock has you lying on the floor if you get into it. We enjoyed the gas fire pit & the hot tub however, we noticed there was no chlorine sanitizer floating in the tub but I just noticed the pic online shows one in the tub. The house was somewhat private…the side with the hot tub & fire pit is mostly private with trees & no house right next door but the other side has a house right next door but is still mostly private. The neighborhood was quiet but you will hear non stop traffic noise from the main road below. The road up to the house is very steep and narrow. The house itself was very clean with ample towels. It also had a few kcups, a small bottle of shampoo, conditioner, bath soap and lotion, a small bar of hand soap, laundry pods, toilet paper, paper towels, iron and ironing board. The one thing they didn’t have, which surprised me, was a blow dryer. I was left with wet hair because I never travel with a blow dryer. I messaged the owner who only said “thanks for letting me know I’ll add it to my list “ but, after I said I had never stayed in a property that didn’t have a blow dryer, she had one delivered by Walmart to the cabin.
