Waterfront!! Private Pier! Reel Relaxing, Real Fun On Sabine Lake

We want to share our beautiful 6 year old property with guest seeking that next great adventure with family or friends. This waterfront property has a 400 foot private lighted pier with a handrail for some of the best flounder fishing, sunrises, bird watching and star gazing around. The property offers the conveniences of home and outdoor amenities that will keep you on the patio grilling, cleaning fish, or enjoy watching the barges from the ICW. We have just recently screened in the top balcony. For guest bringing a boat, the boat ramp, bait shop and convenience store is located about a half mile down the way at the end of the island. The pier is equipped with multiple fishing lights that automatically turn on from dusk to dawn. Grocery stores, the shopping mall/ center, restaurants including some of the best Cajun cuisine, sports bars and tap houses are within 15-20 minutes away. Please note that this property does have stairs. The loft also has a ladder to access. The loft may not be suitable for very small children. Please contact us with any questions regarding your stay.

First Fishing Trip of the year

Always enjoy our stay at this property. Location is perfect for fishing both at Sabine Lake and the ship channel. Access to restaurants and stores is just a few miles away.

Relaxing vacation

Property was extremely clean upon checking in. Check-in process was easy, information sent before arrival. We had an amazing time. Super quiet neighborhood, short drive to town for essentials and groceries. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice clean getaway

Nice place to rent on the water fun fishing from dock and close to boat launch. Only negative side is one bathroom makes it tricky with extra people, but we managed. Will definitely stay here again.

Fishing trip

Enjoyed property as well as the location. We had a wonderful time fishing off of the pier in the evenings. We will be staying there again for a summer fishing trip with friends.

Great place to stay on Sabine lake. Host was very responsive to any questions before and during the visit. House is nice and looks to have been recently redone. Excellent fishing from the pier.

Perfect Weekend Stay

We loved this house! It's right on the water and the dock is perfect for fishing and crabbing. Clean and updated with all kitchen utensils you will need. The kids LOVED the beds and everything was very cozy. We cannot wait to go back again.

My buddies and I went down and stayed for a long weekend of fishing… the house was great nice and peaceful…. The lights on the dock are great for night time fishing!!! The owners are also very nice and helpful with any questions you might have !! We are already planning another trip !!!

We fully enjoyed our stay. The place was just as described and then some. Fishing was phenomenal off the dock. Great communication from host as well. If you want some quiet and beautiful sunrises this is the place for you.

fishing trip

Nice place, close access to sabine pass. The pier is fun to fish at night, but it's not ready for a boat yet,we had to trailer every night.

Thanks for the review as we take all reviews seriously to continue to improve our property. I’m sorry you felt you couldn’t tie the boat up to the last 30 ft of pier that is a foot above the water. We’ve had many guests that have tied up and haven’t heard of any issues. We just added hand rails last month, and have raised the pier in the last year for storm surge. The T head is on our list to finish and hopefully that’ll make tying up that much easier. I’m glad you enjoyed the house, and we hope we see you again! Happy fishing!

The house is on Pleasure Island, which is quiet, on the water, and more secluded. We hope you enjoy the house, just as much as we do, which is why we are happy to share it with others!

We have a private pier on the water. The ocean floor is mud, and no oyster beds near the pier for you to snag while fishing, which can be hard to find on the island!
