The host was very responsive. Our major compaint was the lack of cleanliness. We didn't cook, but brought food in. Every piece of flatware was dirty even tho it was in the drawer and we had to wash it before we used it. I flipped the light switch next to the sink, thinking it was the light but it was the disposal which made a horrid noise. When we stripped the beds, the pillows were stained. Hair in the master bathroom sink. Only one hand towel in the entire house. The broken blinds in the front window made the property look a bit derelict. Internet was a little wacky, but never out for more that a minute at a time. No dishwasher detergent that we could find. Didn't use the hottub. Couch pillows torn at the seams and leaking feathers.

Family Get Together

This place is ideal for family, ideal location and very cozy. Dogs next door were a pain but overall very nice clean place. It beats renting a hotel room anywhere in west texas.

Upon arrival, all information (key code, wifi, etc.) provided was wrong. Front door does not latch, only way to keep it closed is with deadbolt. Snickers wrapper and paper towel debris on floor, food (that will spoil) left in cabinets, Master bedroom bathroom has dual sinks and one looked like someone had trimmed their beard, hair or something? Planned on using hot tub, but it was so dirty I would not get in. Not impressed at all!!!

Hot Tub Scam

My wife and I were lured to the costly overnight stay by the beautiful photos of the “Hot Tub Getaway!” Upon our arrival, the Hot Tub was half full of dirty water and looked unused for a long, long time. The carpet was filthy and the beds & pillows were foam rubber.

I really do hate complaining. Even if something is not up to standard, I’ll weight it against all the negativity I’ll have to go through if I complain. But this rental was a nightmare. It was intended to be a place where family could stay for my daughter’s baby shower. I was also in charge of providing the food. ( I need to add that I haven’t spoken to my daughter in years and her pregnancy has motivated her to reconcile our relationship;this was a chance to redeem myself). Amongst all the features this rental had to offer, the kitchen appealed to me the most. However, when we were preparing to cook, I went to preheat the oven and it released a continuous stream of black burning smoke. It wouldn't stop. Finally I realized I had no choice but to clean the oven first though I knew this was going to affect our arrival time to the shower. While the oven was self-cleaning, the oven got stuck and tripped the breaker. I had to search for the breaker box and retart everything. We were so late to the shower. Everyone was upset and starving, especially my daughter. Of course, she understood it wasn't our fault but still - this should not have occurred. the oven had been dirty and never cleaned. There was also dog hair everywhere and a strong urine odor throughout the home. It got all over my personal things. I still can't believe it but I can't deny it - this rental ruined our weekend and destroyed a celebration

The house wasn’t very clean, the hot tub was especially dirty and cigarette butt were on the ground by the hot tub. The WiFi went out almost every hour for a minute or two which made work meetings impossible. I thought it was due to the cold weather until I read previous reviews which state the same issue. The house keys were loose and not on a key chain which makes keeping track of them more difficult. The heat was roughly 15 degrees difference from upstairs to downstairs. The property manager was prompt with communication which was very nice.

Thank you for staying Brandon. I do apologize the house did not meet your expectations. To be fair. the city was under an extreme ice storm. Everyone's Internet did go out including mine. Previous reviews were correct regarding the temperature in the home, that is why a new AC and furnace were installed in the home. This is the best it can function when the weather is 15° outside and with freezing rain comes the dirt which is what happens in west Texas. All pools and hot tubs that do not have covers were dirty due to the extreme weather conditions. Im sorry you got stuck in Midland during an ice storm hopefully the weather will be more conducive on your next visit. and you will consider staying with Right at Home again. Safe travels

Midland rental

Great property and great communication with property manager. Hot tub was older but still a nice set up with privacy fence and a tv. Only complaint was cleanliness could be better. Stove was a bit dirty, there was smoke smell as soon as you walked in. I think there was a booger or some sort of smear on the wall in the master bedroom. The weekend was overall great.

Not quite what we expected

The location was good for what we needed. We checked in late after dark and the house was dark. The front door was locked but we found other doors were left unlocked. Bathrooms were not stocked with towels, hand towels or washcloths (this was maybe just a miss by housekeeping?). Master bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. Hot tub was rusty and dirty (so we did not use it). Communication with the owner was good and if we needed to stay longer than we did we would have reached out about the issues we had.
