In fact, even before confirming the reservation, the guest had already begun expressing repeated complaints and unrealistic expectations. From the very beginning, communication was particularly difficult, to the point that we initially did not wish to proceed with hosting this stay. The property, its amenities, equipment, photographs, and description are fully detailed in the listing before booking. Nothing was hidden or misrepresented. The apartment is a self-catering vacation rental and not a hotel, despite the guest continuously comparing it to a full-service luxury hotel experience. We also remind readers that many complimentary items such as condiments or consumables cannot systematically be guaranteed for hygiene and logistical reasons, especially in short-term rentals. The guest was provided with a complete digital welcome guide containing all necessary information regarding the property, services, arrival instructions, and stay conditions, exactly as advertised prior to booking. Finally, despite the criticism expressed publicly afterward, the guest did not report any major issue requiring intervention during the stay itself. We regret this clearly hostile and exaggerated review, which does not reflect the quality, location, or overall experience usually appreciated by our guests.
