Beach Towels


Yes. Your stay includes free towels, which you can use at the pools or to take to the local beaches. However, you will be assessed a $35 fee by the resort if you do not return the towels to the room.

Kauia Beach Resort's policy is to ensure a comfortable and pest-free environment for all our guests. As part of this commitment, we do not provide microwaves in ANY units. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

NO RESORT FEES


Guests renting directly from the resort or through retail travel sites pay a hefty DAILY resort fee in addition to a MUCH higher rental rate!. There is no daily resort fee with us!!!!; however, if you book directly from the hotel, they will charge an average of $250 daily rate for same kind of room plus daily resort fee.

Nice enough for the price

The property is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the amenities are nice.However, there are some areas that need to be addressed in my opinion.For the room itself, which is privately owned and maintained separately from the rest of the resort, it needs some changes in order to keep it comparable to the rest of the property.1- the mattress is uncomfortable, even with the topper that is placed on it. We travel a lot and have slept on many hotel beds. This mattress feels very cheap and not appropriate for adults to use. Might be ok for kids.2- There is not daily or even every other day housekeeping service. This is not a big deal, but there should certainly be more towels than 4 bath towels for two adults to use over the course of 9 days. I was told we would have 6, but there were only 4. 3- two rolls of toilet paper for 9 days is not enough either. Please consider leaving at least 4 because you never know and guest should never have to be concerned about toilet paper.4- we appreciated that there was an umbrella for the beach, but a couple of beach chairs would be nice to have available as well.Property issues:1- the roomDoors are extremely heavy and slam closed. This causes a lot of noise in the hallways. 2- walls are thin- we could hear conversations, coughing, children yelling and crying.3- parking is expensive! 40 a night is a lot when there really is not an option to NOT have a car on this island and with this location. Nothing is walkable.

Overall great place to stay

This property is in a great location as long as you do not want to stay within walking distance off resort restaurants and stores. It is an older resort that is being renovated small sections at a time. Pools are great but lacking in chairs and loungers. We had a great stay and the main negative marks are that the front desk was not aware of our reservation and it took forever to check in.

Good location but OK property

We stayed for four days and enjoyed a bit. Location of the property is good and close to a major highway and attractions and is just 10-12 minutes from the Lihue airport. No microwave in the property due to regulations. OK for the price and they have nice swimming pools and hot tub also. Parking is 40/day which is pricey!

Nice room, excellent resort, great location

This is our second time at this resort but our first time in this unit. The room was comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the pool and small ocean view. Loved the full size fridge. This resort is fantastic! The location is perfect for heading north toward Princeville or south and west into Poipu and Waimea. The resort amenities are excellent. If you arrive before 4:30pm on a Friday, they have a Hawaiian show by the pool that’s a free mini luau. We will definitely stay here again!

A perfect relaxing space

Beautiful, comfortable and convenient location for visiting the entire island. Close to the airport, the beach and shopping. The resort has most amenities and a great place to stay.

Relaxing Getaway

The room was exactly as described and was well stocked. The use of the resort amenities was an added plus. The location is very nice and makes travel to the north and to the south and west very easy. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and we will be back!

Beautiful, Clean and Great Location!

I have absolutely no complaints about my stay! The hotel was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly. The room itself was also very clean and I loved that the balcony overlooked the pool. I enjoyed that I could walk up to the beach lawn to watch the sunrise in the mornings and also the free yoga :) location was ideal for getting to travel to all parts of the island as well. Definitely recommend!

We used the pools daily. They were great not overly crowded. Only downside ( which was in info so not a surprise) was no microwave. Would have been nice to be able to heat up left overs, but we knew there wouldnt be one

Overall a nice property

Great property with all the essentials and amenities. The only issues are that you can tell the maintenance and structural details lack the care and love it deserves. Tile coming apart/missing, rusty doors, broken beach chairs etc. But overall a good property.

Paradise found!

Our stay in Kauai was amazing! The Kauai Beach Resort is a beautiful property! The bed in the unit has a fantastic mattress. The cot for our adult daughter was similar to a camping cot with a thin mattress. At the resort we loved eating breakfast by the koi pond. There is a Starbucks on property with delicious pastries. I strongly recommend the guava danish! The location is close to the airport. There are stunning beaches close by. The beach at the resort is not a recommended for swimming. There are many public beaches with lifeguards nearby. Kauai is paradise!
