Only 8 minutes from the airport, your vacay can begin immediately! You will start to unwind upon arrival. As you enter the main floor, your jaw drops at the 180 degree view of the Pacific. Walk right out the main floor 15 ft. door that disappears into the wall and take it all in. This deck has an outdoor kitchen and bar and also offers outdoor electric heating to take the chill off those cool mornings and nights. Enjoy outdoor meals with the family sitting at the 10 foot outdoor table which provides seating for 8 and the nearby bar which seats 3. After eating, play a round or two of ping pong, and move on up to the second deck where you can enjoy a soak in the hot tub that seats 6. Oh- did we mention the beautiful built in fireplace adjacent to the hot tub? Don’t feel like a soak? No problem, the second deck has a high-top table with 4 chairs as well as a love seat. Or maybe you want to take in the most spectacular view that the home has to offer up on the 3rd deck. Relax on one of two comfy sofas or in one of the chaise lounges. Be sure to bring your camera – you will want to take a pic of the prettiest sunset in all of San Diego.
All 5 bedrooms offer views of the ocean and have en-suite bathrooms. 4 of the 5 bedrooms have California King Beds, while one offers 2 sets of twin bunk beds. All bedrooms have walk-in closets and come equipped with Smart TV’s. One of the downstairs bedrooms has a fireplace as well as a walk out into the landscaped garden, complete with a reading bench.
We know you will want to partake in the beach and we are ready for you. The house is outfitted with beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler as well as a beach wagon to haul it all in. Upon returning from the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower conveniently located in the outdoor garden on the backside of the home.
Whether your idea of a vacation is relaxing with a good book on a deck overlooking the ocean, building sand castles at the beach, visiting a few of the 78 breweries in San Diego County (3 of which are walkable from this house), going on a wine tour to Temecula, visiting the award winning San Diego zoo and Balboa Park, taking in a play at the La Jolla Playhouse, biking the Mission Bay Loop, hiking or golfing in Torrey Pines – this house provides the perfect home base.
