Your deepwater retreat awaits.

Location location location!! Just minutes away from Historic Downtown Beaufort and The Waterfront Park (less than a 5 min car or boat ride away), which have so much to offer! Located approximately 7 miles from Parris Island MCRD. Families of graduates welcome!

This property with a high bluff overlooks the Intracoastal waterway and Beaufort's famous sandbar.

Enjoy the stunning deepwater views from almost every room—with its large windows and doors that lead to an outdoor deck, where you can truly appreciate nature’s beauty while sipping on a freshly brewed cup of coffee (or whatever your drink of choice may be).

This home features a large yard and has its own private dock*, if you own or rent a boat during your stay.

Everything you need is conveniently located on the main floor, although you may access the upper level loft for its additional bathroom and sleeping area. A common question is whether this area is included in this rental. The answer is yes, you get the entire home, which includes this upstairs loft.

As of December 20, 2022, we have placed all new furniture on the main level, including new king bedroom set, new leather sofas in living room, new dining set (for 6), etc.

* Please Note: there is a detached guest house adjacent to this main house that may also be rented out during your stay. They have their own parking spots and patio area. However, they may also make use out of the dock during their stay.

Description of house is not what it appeared in daytime, should have know must of pictures on listing is at night! Very disappointed that VRBO would let someone advertise this location in the outside shape it was in. Toilet running when we got there and tv in living room would t work. Outside of house is falling apart.

I/We loved this house and the views. I would rent this house again. But, this house needs some love. Lots of minor repairs need to be done. I hope to use this property again.

This was one of the worst places we have every stayed. The side overlooking the water was all sliding glass doors and only a couple could be somewhat opened and all the screens were torn or had holes so we could not open anything for fresh air. the main toilet ran all the time and the chain had to be fixed to flush it each time it was used. cabinets in the kitchen would not close. The cabinet to the garbage cans fell off. someone got stuck in the bathroom upstairs, the handle fell off and had to yell to get out. some of the patio chairs were falling apart. walking out to the dock there are nails sticking up everywhere. the say there are spices, there is salt and pepper!! it says it sleeps 6, there isn't even enough dinner wear for 6 people. We had to reach out to get bedding for the futon. they finally got us a fitted sheet and blanket. not even a pillow case. no towels in the main bathroom. we had to guy buy paper towels. no towels or cloths in the kitchen. 2 small bottles of dish soap that barely got us through. about a 1/4 inch of soap in each bottle. This place is so neglected and needs so much work. We will never stay there again and really it should be taken off of Vrbo. I wish I had taken pictures to post. the only thing going for it is the view but you risk your life walking down to the dock with all the nails sticking up to catch your feet. There is absolutely no love and care into this place. Fridge is good, water pressure in shower is good and AC works good.

The location is literally a million dollar location with fabulous views from the main house. It’s an A frame center with a loft bedroom that showcases the view as does the downstairs Master bedroom, den, dining room and kitchen. We didn’t stay in the guest house which doesn’t have a view but does have access to the dock as well. If you’re an outdoor living place, boater, fishing from the dock person this has what you need and you’ll love it. The floating part of the dock doesn’t have a ladder or we’d have been swimming. This is right across from the downtown sandbar(a pretty popular local sandbar that’s great to hang out on).

Short Get Away

Absolutely loved the house. Beautiful windows overlooking the water. Beds a little on the hard side and house on the older side. But over all great experience and would definitely stay again.

The dock and view was spectacular! We enjoyed sitting on the dock and using our boat. Ac worked great. Very clean The overall appearance is run down and need of repair. The kitchen is not well equipped. There were issues with a toilet on main floor. Several door knobs and kitchen handles needed fixed. Lighting in kitchen missing multiple bulbs. We would suggest a manual explaining the property. Sites to see. Places to eat and shop. Instructions on tv and Wi-Fi. In case of emergency contacts near by. Trash pickup etc.

Avoid this property.

We had multiple problems. The house was poorly upkept, previous reviews say it looked haunted... this is an accurate description. The host ignored us for hours when we discovered the AC was broke. We had to get VRBO customer service involved, they were very helpful. The AC was never properly fixed even though the host claimed it was.Folks at the on site "guest house" blocked in our car and helped themselves to the backyard and dock area of the home we were staying, so don't expect privacy. Overall it was just a huge disappointment, and to top it off we found dead roaches in several areas as we were checking out.

Family Get Tigether

Upon arrival I was stressed about how I was going to turn around with my 17 ft boat in tow. But then I used the yard it was fine. We found the home clean inside. The half bath downstairs toilet doesn’t flush unless you hold the handle down the entire time. Big disappointment was the dock!! The platform has been separated from the walkway so you cannot fish. Why the host doesn’t disclose this is deceptive. The A/C worked fine. Basic essentials and coffee. Very convenient to downtown.

Honest review

The property is not well maintained at all. House had finger nail clippings on bathroom counter, dirty fridge, cracked tv, and no A.c It was a constant temperature of 78degrees inside the home. The a.c units that were provided were not sealed properly which allowed bugs(mainly mosquitoes to come in throughout our stay. It was horrible. If they get the A. C fixed and a better housekeeper it would have been a much more enjoyable stay.

Nice Property/Good Location

This is our 3rd stay at this property and we still enjoy it. The indoor space is great, and we love sitting on the dock looking for dolphins. A couple of things that happened during our stay served to confirm the fact that the host is willing to go above and beyond to accommodate guests. First, on our 2nd night the AC seemed to fail. Within 30 minutes of our notifying the host, the maintenance person was here to attempt to fix the problem (this was 10:00 at night). When it became apparent that the problem couldn’t be immediately fixed, we were provided with a portable AC unit for the bedroom assuring us a comfortable night. The AC was fixed by the time we returned from the beach the following day. And when my wife awoke sick on the morning we were to check out, the host rearranged the cleaning schedule so we could stay later while we waited to get into our hotel room. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to returning next summer.

Relaxing

Loved our stay so much, we extended two days. Beds were firm but comfortable. Master bath is huge with shower and claw bathtub. Plenty of storage for all you bring with you. Kitchen is very nice. Best of all was sitting on back deck, relaxing, and watching dolphin, smooth water and lights of downtown historic Beaufort. We used the dock daily to fish and take boat rides all over. We will definitely return.

Beautiful house with a great location to town

Beautiful house with very close proximity to downtown. Needs a few updates but would stay again. Owner was nice and responsive.

Perfect for view, kayaking and fishing.

Great weather helped us enjoy the waterfront property. Launched my inflatable kayak from the dock. Fished from the dock catching several small sharks. A dophin appeared next to the dock as he surveyed the are for food. Visited local restaurants and the museum on Parris Island where our marines train.

dated and in need of major repairs

Needs a new manager for the house! This home needs major work done.Landscaping, Dock and the whole house.It was clean inside with a few minor glitches. VERY FALSE REPRESENTATION ! No upstairs bathroom pictures to show what you are getting.This is not great for couples.Not to mention a major tripping hazard just walking around the property.

The property was completely misrepresented. From the time we stepped out of our vehicle, it looked like a haunted house. The grounds are unkept, the inside wasn't clean and there were bugs. The toilet off the kitchen didn't work, there was hardley enough water pressure to take a shower and the pillows were so old and flat we had to go buy some. People should be aware of what they are getting into. Very disappointed.

Great view on the water

Very comfortable house with a dock on the water. Wonderful back deck. There were a couple of glitches when we got there but our host and his family worked out the issues beautifully. Beaufort is a great town with good restaurants. Best was the old Bull Tavern. The
