Horizen House Joshua Tree Retreat - Pool+Hot Tub

Welcome to the Horizen House, a 4 bedroom oasis nestled 10 mins from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park and 7 mins from downtown.

The HH went through a full renovation and includes 4 bedrooms, custom designed fully loaded kitchen. In the back yard there' s a shaded dining table, gas fire pit, container swimming pool + hot tub, yoga patio, casita with office, and custom mural.

The sun room greets you as you walk through the door and was carefully designed to allow you to slow down and appreciate the sun, wind, and soul flowing through the hi-desert.

The open concept floor plan opens to a living room with 55 inch smart TV for those movie nights, huge custom island, and fully loaded kitchen for preparing delicious meals for your family and friends.

The house is equipped with blazing fast wi-fi, 4 split AC/Heaters - 1 in every room for optimal temperature control, a tankless water heater, organic soaps, shampoos, conditioners, laundry detergent, tuft and needle all-natural mattresses.

Inside the main house, you will find three bedrooms and two full bathrooms - 1 king, 1 queen, and 1 bunk room (sleeps 6 - great for kids!).

You also HAVE to see the outdoor shower and bathroom and casita which sleeps two, has a TV, and private office. There is a window AC for the hot days and space heater for the cool nights. Please note, while comfortable with the AC, the casita does not get as cool as inside the house, especially on very hot days.

Outside in the backyard oasis you have two hammocks, perfect for stargazing, a propane fire pit, outdoor dining table, yoga deck, pool deck with hot tub and pool. Don't miss the desert and mountain views from the hot tub, pool. or hammocks. And don't forget to snap a photo in front of the custom designed mural on the shipping container.

Please ensure your guest count is accurate when booking. You can add more guests (up to 10) or remove guests if needed, but your final guest count must be accurate at time of check-in and is monitored by hosts.

The house has a septic system, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper and try to use as little toilet paper as possible!

There are plenty of shops, grocery stores, and restaurants within 5-15 miles so you don’t have to worry if you forgot something.

The Horizen House is located in the high desert of California. Joshua Trees are protected and under no circumstances should you physically touch, move, or come in contact with a Joshua Tree. You may encounter animals like coyotes, snakes, bobcats during your time in Joshua Tree. Please understand any encounter with plant or wildlife comes at your own risk.

Note: Initial price is for 6 guests. Each guest above 6 is charged at $75 per night so price will reflect number of guests. This is to offset extra costs from additional guests or larger groups. Guest count must be accurate.

Pet Friendly: We're pet friendly! Two well-behaved pups allowed. There is a $100 pet fee, paid at time of booking. No pups on the furniture and no pups left alone in the house (unless crated) or in the yard and please dispose of any pet waste.

Check in/Check out: Check in time is 4 pm and check out time is 11 am. Due to our cleaning schedule we're unable to offer an early check in or late check out.

We have security cameras viewing the the property outside, front, side and back. They are to help monitor deliveries, cleaning crews, maintenance, etc. There are no cameras indoors. All cameras are visible by guests and we do not monitor during guest stays unless there's an emergency.
