Beachside Cottage- 1 min walk to sand and sun

Kick back and relax with the whole family in Old Homestead II at this home located near the private neighborhood beach. Local attractions include Cedar Point, Kalahari, African Safari, golf courses, Put-in-Bay, Sport Force, local dining and marinas!

Relax with the whole family at our `Beachside` ranch style getaway. A beautiful newly renovated 3 bedroom / 2.5 bath home just a minutes’ walk from the neighborhood private beach. Old Homestead II offers a private beach shared with only the neighborhood and their guests and the public beach, Nickel Plate, is less than a mile away. Our neighborhood sandy beach is one of Northeast Ohio`s premier. This is a great vacation spot close to restaurants, golf courses, water parks, Cedar Point, Sport Force and the ferry docks to the islands (Kelly`s / Put-in-Bay).

All linens, towels and kitchen accessories are provided. Beach chairs, a propane grill with tank, beach towels and starter paper products are all available during your stay.

Other things to note
Absolutely No hosting of parties or pets are allowed. There is a city noise ordinance in effect at 10 pm. Our home provides a 65 ft paved driveway, that has a 3 car maximum parking with street parking available on a first come, first serve basis.

The Beachside Cottage was the perfect family getaway with our adult-children. The description was completely accurate and still didn't capture how cute it is, how clean, how fully equipped with everthing you need and hope your vacation rental has. We had fun days on the very-close private beach and wonderful meals, games nights at the house. We're so happy we found it and would definitely stay again! Thank you

This house was well stocked and a great location! The set up was perfect for a multi family vacation and very kid friendly. It was well decorated but no sharp edges or stairs to worry about with kids arounds. Layout was great and access to private beach was awesome. Less than a min walk. Would def stay again.

Nice relaxing space in quiet neighborhood. Short walk to private beach area. Spend one day at Cedar Point which was a short 15 or so minute drive from the home. Great communication with host - we had no issue and plan to come back again!

Perfect beach set up

Our family fell in love with this sweet, well-appointed beach house. We had plenty of space and found the house unsuspectingly big and well laid out. Everything you could need for the beach is available, and the kitchen is well stocked for families who like to cook! There’s also a spacious hang out in the converted garage area and backyard seating. We can’t wait to return and would definitely recommend this gem!

Great Location & PLENTY of space

I had my four grandkids and my daughter here for five days. The garage is a godsend, very cool for the adults to escape to or send the kids to watch a TV show. Everything you need. Very nice safe neighborhood for the kids to go back-and-forth to the beach, it was great.

Quiet cute house

This house is in a great location. It is a block away from the private beach area. This house has a garage with a cute little bar area to hang out in. Great communication with the property manager. I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Lake Erie Beach Cottage

This house worked perfectly for our family vacation! The location was fantastic- a short walk to a lovely private community beach in a nice, residential neighborhood. Easy to go to Cedar Point and lots of local restaurants in Huron. The house was decorated so nicely and exceeded our expectations! It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Lots of space for everyone to relax and gather. Would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful cottage

Wonderful location! Beautiful cottage! We truly enjoyed our stay, so much, the kids are asking to stay there again. We did have one minor issue but within a few short hours everything was back to perfect. Thank you Marcy!

Will totally rent again!

Bigger than expected. Welcoming. Clean. Quick and easy walk to the 'quiet, private' beach. Marci was great and attentive. Close enough to everything and far enough from it all, too!! We stayed here because our boys were playing baseball at Sports Force and going to Cedar Point. Great location for that AND a walleye charter trip! Lots of food choices nearby.

The Perfect House

We cannot say enough good things about this property. It was perfect for our group (my husband and I, our two kids and my parents) for a week. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out with two large living rooms and a kitchen with extra counter space. The bedrooms were spacious and had large closets. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and serve meals. I didn’t think we would use the outdoor patio but we hung out there a lot! There is also a hose in the backyard that was helpful to clean off sand from the beach! The location cannot be beat. It was a very short walk to the private beach. The beach was really nice and great for swimming. And the grocery store and other restaurants are nearby. The owner was very helpful before and during our stay. I spent a lot of time looking for houses for our trip and was am so happy we chose this one. Would highly recommend.

Happy Family Vacation

The surprisingly spacious cottage provided comfortable space for toddlers' activities, quiet bedrooms for rest and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare for family gatherings. The fresh, clean atmosphere made for a simply relaxing time with happy memories. With easy access to the beach and all the beach gear available, it was an ideal family vacation spot.
