Etche Tipito – Family Holiday Home in Grand Piquey, Cap Ferret
Located in the heart of the village of Grand Piquey on the Cap Ferret peninsula, Etche Tipito is a charming single-storey family home in the Basco-Landais style, inspired by the traditional seaside architecture of the Arcachon Bay area. Surrounded by a 1,000 m² tree-filled garden, it offers a peaceful and welcoming setting—ideal for holidays with family or friends between the ocean and the bay.
Renovated at the end of 2025, the house combines the charm of traditional Cap Ferret homes with modern comfort, with spaces designed for relaxation, social gatherings… and even remote working.
Ideally located, the house is just a 5-minute walk from the bay beach in Grand Piquey and from the village shops (bakery “Chez Pascal”, butcher, greengrocer, cheese shop, etc.). The ocean beaches are easily accessible within 15 minutes by bike thanks to the many safe cycling paths that run throughout the peninsula. The bike path actually passes right in front of the house, making it easy to reach nearby villages, markets, and beaches.
The house can accommodate up to 8 guests and includes 4 bedrooms:
- 1 bedroom with two single beds (90 cm) that can be combined into a double bed (180 cm)
- 2 bedrooms with a double bed (140 cm)
- 1 bedroom with two bunk beds (4 single beds, 90 cm), ideal for children
- 2 bathrooms with shower and sink
- 2 toilets, including one separate WC
The living area features a bright lounge and dining room opening onto a fully equipped kitchen with a granite bar—perfect for sharing convivial moments with family and friends.
Outside, the enclosed 1,000 m² garden is perfect for enjoying long summer days and evenings. It includes outdoor seating, sun loungers, and a gas plancha, ideal for al fresco meals after a day at the beach or cycling.
The house is also equipped with:
- High-speed fiber Wi-Fi
- 43-inch TV
- A dedicated workspace with monitor for remote working
- Washing machine and dryer
This charming home is ideal for two families of four or a large family looking to enjoy active or relaxing holidays in the exceptional natural setting of the Cap Ferret peninsula.
The house will be available for rental from June 2026. Some outdoor improvements are currently underway and photos will be updated progressively.
