Relax & unwind. Located in the heart of downtown, this peaceful loft is within steps from everything Ouray has to offer – hiking, shopping, restaurants, breweries, & a short walk to the world-famous hot springs.

***Please Note- This unit is not suitable for children under the age of 13 and guests who have difficulty climbing stairs.***

The home/building is surrounded by mature trees that provide a secluded & peaceful atmosphere. Private parking area and a small outdoor area. Outdoor seating available for guests. Please NO RVs or Trailers in the parking lot. Thank you for your understanding!

I stayed here with my two kids (who are 7 and 10). The space was clean and cozy. The location is great, you walk to just about everything. It's easy to find and there is plenty of parking.

Nice place, clean and quiet

The place was exactly as described. I really like it was on a dead end street which made traffic noise a non-issue. I would stay here again.

Wonderful!

Great place very close to downtown! We enjoyed being so close to all the restaurants, bars, and shops. The unit was very clean and easy to check in to!

The perfect place for three

This place was perfect. The location, the scenery, the heated toilet seat. We had a very comfortable stay here. No complaints. This will be my 1st choice for booking in the future.

Great place, ideally located

This place was perfect for our family getaway. Nice to have 2 separate sleeping areas and 2 bathrooms - a must with 2 teenage sons! Clean, charming and one block from the main street. Able to walk to everything...restaurants, shopping, Box Canyon Falls, Cascade Falls, and only steps from the river. Ouray is such a special place and staying here only added to the enjoyment!

Alpine Loop getaway

Great location. Walking distance to Main Street. Nicely remodeled and comfortable space for two couples. Wall AC units were a nice touch especially since the space is upstairs. Hosts were great. They even helped us find parking for our trucks and ATV trailers in front of the property. We would definitely stay here again.

A Perfect Perch!

This upstairs two bedroom, two bath unit is immaculate and delightful! Liza provided so many welcoming and convenient touches, like healthy snacks, regular and decaf coffee and lots of mugs, dishes and silverware. Access to a fully stocked laundry facility was a huge plus for us. The location is within an easy walk to everything in town, but on a quiet street. Liza gave us great tips about places to visit and responded quickly and helpfully to all our questions. We had a wonderful stay!

Awesome space

For Ouray just about as food as you can get on location. It is an attic space so angled ceilings but for us that was fine. The heated toilet seat was bust’in!

Great plce

This was a great place to stay, especially if you want to walk everywhere in Ouray. Our family congregated in the 2 large bedrooms which were very comfy. The kit here was perfect for making coffee and setting up a takeout buffet. Liza was always available for quick questions. Many thanks!

Perfect Location

Liza was the perfect host from communication, to the ‘extras’ in the apt., and suggestions from hikes, meals, sightseeing. The apt is one block from the river where we enjoyed our coffee every morning. It’s only 2 blocks from Main Street. We were able to walk everywhere during our stay. It was a cozy place with comfortable beds, kitchenette, table, and chairs. I especially appreciated the AC in the bedrooms and free laundry and supplies. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice Accommodations a Quick Walk to Town

Nice, clean and simple 2BR, 2 Bath attic-like apartment with the Uncompahgre River flowing by in the backyard. A short walk up to Main St gives you access to all of Ouray's restaurants, bars and shops. Accommodation has two rooms, one of which has a kitchenette. There is a connecting landing between the rooms with a table. Worked well for two friends who took full advantage of all the hiking and outdoor activities the area has to offer.

Hello! I'm Liza. My husband Brandon and I are excited to be your hosts! Brandon grew up right here in Ouray and can offer a unique local perspective to our guests. Ouray is our family's favorite place on earth. There is lots to do here - hiking, jeeping, ice climbing, via ferrata, skiing in Telluride, and soaking in the world-famous hot springs. We feel so blessed to share our knowledge of the area not only with our two boys but also with you, our guests!

Whether you are looking for the best restaurant in town or a great day hike or just want to relax in one of the hot springs, we are happy to share our favorite spots with you. We deeply care about our guests' experience so please let us know if we missed anything, we will do our best to address it right away.

We live on the other side of the mountains, in Longmont with two wild boys, a puppy, 10 chickens, and bees. Although we try to come to Ouray as often as possible, when we are not there ourselves, our mom Cindy who lives in town handles and supervises cleaning and any last-minute assistance you may need. Thank you for choosing to stay at the Ouray Haus, our mountain paradise. Enjoy and have the best trip!
