Welcome to your Pocono Waterfront Retreat! This well-appointed, newly updated lake house is yours to enjoy. It is located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. We made sure that this lake house will make your getaway a memorable one by providing you all the amenities you need to make your vacation special. We have a game area that includes a shuffleboard, a pool table, electronic dartboard, and a Foosball. We are also close to many of the attractions in Poconos.

About our lake house:

This two story, modern lake home was designed with you in mind. We are located in Summit Lake, just a skip, hop and a jump away from the shore and next to a creek. You can step out to the deck and hear the sound of the water, view the lake while gathering outdoors, and enjoy the beauty of nature. Included are boats and kayak for you to use if you want some water fun. Our home is great for fishing and swimming enthusiasts.

This 4 bedroom home is over 2000 square feet. It has 2 bathrooms, a game/entertainment area, a gathering deck, fire pit, propane grill, and 70” TV over an electric fireplace. We provide Hulu (that has ESPN+ and Disney+ channels) to name a few. Central air conditioning and heating.
Lake access is a few steps away from the back door. A row boat, a pedal boat and tandem kayak are available for guests to use.
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary items you need to make a meal. We have a sofa bed and a futon for when you need it.

About our Neighborhood:

You will find wooded hills, valleys, lake and a rural quiet neighborhood in Pocono Summit, but still close to popular recreation areas, with many communities having fishing, hunting, skiing, and other sports facilities. We have frequent visitors of wild life animals that you won’t commonly see in metropolitan cities. In the morning, if you are lucky, you will catch a glimpse of a family of deer and couple of white swans in our backyard.

*There are also optional community facilities you can access for a small daily fee such as beach, newly renovated outdoor pool, and basketball area. Please inquire with your host regarding use if you are interested. Most of our guests that opt to use it on the day of their stay can just pay directly to the office before use.

There are a few supermarkets about 3-5 mins away for grocery shopping. Restaurants are close by, easy access to get some pizza, chinese food or Perkins.
There is also a Walmart and a CVS nearby if you need some last minute supplies.

* Rental Agreement is attached on House Rules section, please read. Host will require a liability waiver after booking. Our community HOA also requires a tenant registration form filled out and submitted a week prior to arrival.

We have Well water system, bring your own preferred water bottle for drinking. We have a water filtration system for the house and a Brita if you would like to use it.


Guest Access:

Guests will be able to use the whole home and lake access in the backyard.
There is ample parking in the driveway and street. You will be receiving a door code on the morning of your travel, it is a unique code that will only activate at time of check in.

*For lake fishing: You need a fishing license to fish in any lake in PA. Security and Game commission does show up to check so make sure you are in compliance. Host will not be responsible for you ticket violation if caught. Our dock will only allow up to 1000 lbs of weight at once, about 4-6 persons and less if carrying a boat to launch. Guests will wear life vests on the dock, boats and swimming on the lake. Guests will not leave any personal belongings on the dock or leave out chairs to avoid any loss of property. Guests will not release the floating dock off the secured attachment on the shore anchor.

NO ACCESS to lake Spillway: At any time, do not attempt to swim or hang out on or near the lake spillway ( located to the right of propery) This is very dangerous and is a violation of our HOA rules. You will incur a fine from security dept if caught. I really appreciate your cooperation for your safety.


HOUSE RULES:

Maximum occupancy not to exceed 12 people, 5 cars
No third party bookings.
No Events or Parties allowed.

• All indoor furniture must be kept in the house, please return dining ware brought out.

• Clean any spills immediately and do not sit on furniture in wet swimsuits or with suntan oil on. Bring all beach towels back to avoid lost of supplies fee. Each towel lost is $20 fee.

• If you are using the barbecue grill, make sure you clean the grill, remove food scraps and put cover back, we do not want to encourage wild animals to our property. Do not pour grease or food scraps on the sink, place it in the trash.

• Please do not flush sanitary products down the toilets. We have a very sensitive septic that only takes toilet paper.

• Turn off all lights and AC/Heat when leaving to conserve energy.

• Any issues need to be communicated in booking platform within 24 hours of check in.

• Guest to clean used dishes and load dishwasher, bag trash and leave inside bins on driveways prior to check out.

• Be considerate to your new neighbors! Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am, during which time the noise from the home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors.

IMPORTANT INFO:

*We don’t offer refunds for weather, park closures, changes in travel itinerary, or mismanaged expectations. There shall be no refunds of rents for shortened stays due to family emergencies or change of # of guests attending. Power outages and internet provider being down are beyond our control and no refund policy will apply. Read our description on our listing, inquire from your hosts regarding the property if you have certain expectations that we may/ or may not meet. Please make sure to check our cancellation policy prior to booking, and avail of your own travel insurance or through Vrbo insurance.
