Big Bear getaway

Everything went smoothly with excellent communication between the owner and our party. Place was very nice and clean with more than adequate room for our party. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great Spot

Fawnskin is a great alternative to Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City of your are looking for something less crowded while still being close enough to attractions. The house has a great layout for almost any type of group. The host is extremely helpful and accommodating. We have stayed several timea and will be back again!

This Cabin never leaves us us down

Another great experience for our family once again. We spend another Xmas in the cabin and have a great time. Location is great for us not loud at all and away from the city only 10 min not bad at all. My family loves to spend time in this cabin. Thank you again.

Great for families!

My family and I recently went to big bear to celebrate my mom’s 70th bday for the weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us and the home was very cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the owner was kind enough to check on us through our stay. The home is about a 15 minute drive to bear mountain resort.

Wonderful stay!

This is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. The cabin has an interesting floor plan. It has been kept up-to-date and is well maintained and well supplied. It looks just like the photos in the listing. The three full baths were a bonus since we had 3 groups of adults plus our 2 grandkids with us. All the bathrooms had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. We were there for a late Christmas and were delighted to find the cabin decorated, including a big Christmas tree! The owner checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed and was super helpful, even providing sledding recommendations for the grandkids! Even though the temps dropped into the teens at night we were snug and cozy the whole time. We will long remember our white Christmas, and have many happy memories of our cabin stay.

Very nice place

I made good memories with my friends in a very nice place. The owner kept in touch with us so that we wouldn't feel uncomfortable while we were here. It was really fun. I highly recommend this place.

Family fun

Had a great time in this beautiful home! The owner was so nice and called me to tell me about the snow storm that was expected and to make sure I had chains. He knew we wer driving up early to beat the traffic and he let me know that the cleaning team were finished early and we could check in early!! Had a great time .... the house was huge.... beautiful views .....we will be back!!

What’s an amazing place to stay. My family loved this home. Property is in a great location. You will not get the big bear traffic or noice. Only 9 min away from mayor stores not a bad drive. I recommend this home for your stay.

A wonderful place to stay!

Renting and staying at this property was a very nice experience. Everything was clean and there was even Christmas decorations put up which made it feel more like home for my family and friends. The check-in was very simple and the owner made sure that all information regarding the property was shared. Overall a great place to stay at and my family and friends loved it!

This property was a great stay for our mini vacation! 3 stories and plenty of room for the 8 adults in our group for the weekend. Janine was a great host and responded to my texts promptly. Far Exceeded Expectations!

It can be a challenge to find places that accommodate groups of adults well, with enough beds & rooms for all. This last-minute find for Labor Day Weekend was BEYOND anything I had hoped or expected to find - I couldn't believe it was available! The place is so nicely updated & clean, with 4 very good-sized bedrooms (2 each on the top & mid levels), each room with a queen or king bed (one with 2 queens!), 3 nice bathrooms with showers (1 on each level), a great full kitchen, and an amazing tree-lined deck with lots of tables & seating! It was just so nice & comfortable for us, and all the friends absolutely loved it! It was nice being on the 'quieter' side of the lake, while only 15 minutes from the heart of town. But dealing with the owner Janine was actually the best part. She is SO flexible and accommodating, and made sure to check-in with me to see how all was going. We will definitely be staying here for any future BB trips!

An Absolutely Wonderful Experience

We had such a great time at this rental that we may consider coming back annually. The cabin is located close to the lake on the quieter side of big bear lake and has the look and feel of an mountainside cabin. The owner Janine was wonderful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were always comfortable. I had texted to ask how to turn on the AC unit as we stayed during a particularly hot weekend and were told there was no AC in the cabin. We would have been totally fine without as well, however Janine took it upon herself to send out her maid out to bring us 2 newly purchased fans! We were just in awe at how caring and accommodating Janine was and definitely did not expect her to do that. She definitely set the bar high in terms of rental property owners. Thank you for the great experience. We will be coming back!

Great home!

I was stressfully looking for a home where my family and friends can stay, and found this beautiful home! The owners were helpful and answered all questions, even shared activities to do and places to visit. The rooms were very spacious with comfortable beds, nice restrooms, and a beautiful kitchen and living area. The balcony offered us plenty of space to have our breakfast and dinner. I can tell the owners took time and made it a home, fast away from home! Would definitely come back and stay here again.

Great experience with a great house

Checking in was very easy. The house was stocked with kitchen equipment and the gas grill outside work excellently! Walking distance to a corner store for all the essentials. I’d do it again.

Cozy cottage

We recently visited the cute cozy home in Fawnskin. Super Cute & Cozy. Kitchen and Bathrooms all updated, place was very clean. There was plenty of room for our family get together. It’s situated off busy street and almost on a corner lot, with a hill for a back yard. Not much play room for kids, but fortunately a park is directly across the street. 4 cars fit snug in the driveway. We all had a great time, I would definitely rent from the owners again, they were helpful and prompt in returning calls or messages we had.. thanks again!

The cleanest most comfortable place I’ve ever stayed at

This house / cabin is ideal. It’s so clean, everything is organized and in place. You walk in and immediately feel like you are at your own home. They had clean sheets, clean towels and many extras in the closet. The house is very well decorated which made you feel at home. It’s also walking distance from a cafe for breakfast and a super market. I 100% recommend this place to everyone. We will definitely be back in the summer and I’m telling all my friends about this place :)

Fantastic house!

Enjoyed an excellent weekend in this exceptionally well presented house in Fawnskin. It has everything you could possibly need for a weekend away in the snow. Beautiful accommodation, spotless, and updated with top quality bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and living spaces. We will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Wonderful Fawnskin cabin!

This is the perfect cabin to getaway to in the Big Bear area. My family had an amazing time in this beautiful cabin that had every amenity we could possibly need. It's a true gem. We will definitely be back.
