Take in the views at our "Dark Sky" Crater Lake Resort House. This family friendly home features 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms modernly designed and decorated to create a calm peaceful stay. This is not a condo or tiny chalet located at the Running Y Resort, it is a full on private custom home equipped with everything you will need to make you feel at home. With full access to all amenities at the Running Y Resort, a very short commute to Crater Lake National Park, you simply cant go wrong!

Construction of this home was completed January 2020. Everything is new and clean! Stepping in from the foyer, you look straight through into an open concept with vaulted ceilings and nearly floor to ceiling glass on the back wall. The huge windows provide a vast view of farmlands and mountain ranges. Sit at the bar and enjoy spending time with family while still being in the same room as the kitchen and living room allowing everyone to be together.

In the living room the newly built fireplace/entertainment center features floor to ceiling marble tile, a custom built in 85" TV, and a modern 8' wide electric fireplace. The gigantic wrap around sectional couch provides plenty of room for 10-12 people to sit comfortably and enjoy a movie or show. Enjoy Hulu, Netflix, Apple Tv, Amazon Prime, and more. Custom made 95% blackout curtains can be drawn to darken the room and ensure an optimum tv viewing environment.

The kitchen features an over-sized 36" chefs stainless steel five burner range with custom built in exhaust hood vented to the peak of the vaulted ceiling, stainless steel counter depth refrigerator/freezer, and stainless steel dishwasher with TV facing sink. Elegant flat black stone lain dinnerware, accompanying flat black silverware, kids eating and sippy-cups set, full setup of Cuisinart stainless steel cookware, and every possible utensil you could need. We also provide a great mix of cooking spices and oil to make cooking peaceful and easy.

Step out onto the newly built patio to take in the view even further and experience three outdoor sectionals accented by garden beds planted with Japanese Maple trees. The modern wire railing adds protection all while minimizing obstruction of the view. Turn on the contemporary space heater at night and enjoy being warmed while watching the stars like you have never before. Our home is located in a "dark sky zone" meaning that there are restrictions on artificial lighting which provides unobstructed views of the stars. You will be in awe of what you can see with the naked eye; however, if you want more, feel free to use the provided telescope to dive deeper!

All bedrooms feature 9' ceilings and have had modern upgrades such as accent walls, murals, over-sized artwork, and custom paint. Automatic motorized blinds give you the option of blackout, or fantastic views from the over-sized windows, all at the touch of a button. Each room has reading materials, additional sitting area, and wireless charging pads on both sides of the bed. The master bedroom features a 10' wide sliding glass door with motorized blind, low profile bed frame with upscale memory foam bed, and a separate couch and sitting area. The master bedroom also entails its own on suite private bathroom equipped with a deep soak freestanding bathtub big enough for two, stand alone shower, private toilet room, and dual lavatories. The common bath features dual lavatories and a separate toilet and full bathtub room. Additionally, there is another half bath located near the garage behind the kitchen.

Our home also features a Hydrow rowing machine, free weights, resistance bands, and a yoga-matt if you would like to work out from home instead of going to the shared gym. We have a good selection of board games and an Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headset equipped with some of the top current games. If its winter and there is snow grab one of the six sleds and hit the hills, (the 9th hole of the golf course turns into a gigantic sledding hill in the winter)!

Feel free to venture out into the Running Y Ranch Resort where you will find, Arnold Palmer PGA golf course, dining, award winning Sandhill Spa, miles of walking trails, fully stocked fishing pond, ice/roller skating rink, lake access, birding (we frequently see bald eagles and many other rare birds), and natural beauty at every turn. Guests will receive full access to the sports and fitness center featuring a gym, kiddie pool, heated pool (typically 85 degrees), hot tub, sauna, arcade, and ping-pong. Motorized bicycles and kayaks are available for rent at the resort if you feel the need to venture out even further.
