Fabulous chalet on an amazing lake. The water was crystal clear and perfect for swimming. The sunsets were spectacular. We cannot wait to return.

House on E.Grand

House was perfect for our fishing trip. Bill was very communitive and gave us tips on where to fish on the lake. We would definitely go back for another visit.

Amazing place

Had a great time on west grand lake! Catching brookies, touge, salmon and smallmouth all morning and swimming off the dock in the afternoon. Bill was great, house was amazing. Would love to come back.

Perfect getaway!

We had a great time at Bill’s little slice of paradise on the lake! He provided kayaks and we brought a our SUPs- it was exactly what we were looking for! The water is crystal clear.

Bill was very accommodating regarding an earlier-than-listed check in (we very much appreciate that). He also texted me the evening we arrived and established communication and made sure all was OK.This early “everything OK?” text came in very handy as we had a few “pop-up” housekeeping questions the first few days. I was very happy to have a text string already with Bill (I did not have to wonder how to get hold of the landlord). Bill was always very responsive - we appreciated that.I would recommend this property - beautifully situated on the lake. The pictures on the listing sums it all up: peaceful and quiet

Amazing fishing retreat

I love this place and the property is top notch. I can see myself renting here for years to come as the fishing is spectacular and the views are gorgeous. I love every facet of this camp and it is meticulous well kept and cared for. The owners are one of a kind and I cannot praise them enough for allowing me and my sons the opportunity to stay at this amazing place. Thank you.

West Grand Lake

Just amazing! It was the two of us and our dog and we were all in heaven. The house, the property and the lake...just beautiful!! The weather wasn't perfect, but it didn't stop us from doing everything we wanted to do. The only downfall was that we only had one week!! Highly recommended!! Joanne

Great stay in June

The property is awesome and has a great location on West Grand Lake. Lovely views and nicely open for breezes off the lake. The interior is well decorated with excellent taste for a lake house/cabin in Maine. The WiFi connectivity and speed were great for checking e-mails and holding video conference calls when one of us had to work a few hours during our stay. The boat dock was great for my 14 ft. Starcraft boat, but a really big boat with a deep draft might have a little trouble with nearby rocks just out from the beach and dock. Overall, it's a lovely place, and we had a very enjoyable, relaxing time there.

Beautiful lakeside spot

Amazing views, fishing right off the dock, clean and comfortable inside. Upstairs bedroom slept our 4 young children, downstairs bedroom perfect for us, additional apartment over the detached garage if you need more space. We took the kayaks for a paddle around the dock and enjoyed some s'mores around the firepit. Kitchen is fully equipped to eat in and enjoy the sunsets over the lake. Near to lots of hiking trails and water access. Easy and quick correspondence with the owner. We hope to make it back again!

Peaceful and beautiful!

We loved the house and location. Road into house is well maintained and the location is beautiful and peaceful. House is exactly as pictured. Larger screen tv was a nice surprise. Great WiFi signal. We would definitely return for another stay. Just a few minor recommendations - a good spring cleaning of the refrigerator and a little better cleaning for the couch from dog hair. AC worked well when we needed it. One more window unit in the bedroom downstairs would be beneficial but there were plenty of fans. Would highly recommend to others!

Amazing Slice of Paradise!

Our 1st visit & booked for next year already! Can't wait! The cottage & the surroundings being the lake are so peaceful & relaxing! The boat rides were spectacular. A slice of paradise for sure. :) The only thing wrong was the time flew by way too fast. Bill is a treasure to deal with. Goes above & beyond & very quick responses. The camp fires were wonderful! Memories with great friends & our fur baby diving off the dock. We thank you for everything! Fondly, Jim, T., William, Kimberly & Sullie

Beautiful Spot on the lake

The property was gorgeous and not on top of the neighbors, which is what we look for in a rental. The lake was stunning. Fishing was much better over in Big Lake for bass but I couldn’t keep my kids out of the water. Owner was very pleasant to deal with and responsive. Check in was very easy. One thing we did notice was the outdoor security cameras (at least two). I understand why one would heaven them. We weren’t hiding anything so I didn’t worry about it but it did feel awkward at times. Overall, great place to stay and my kids loved having a separate place over the garage to sleep. It was a mini apartment.
